Osman's absence will reach two games due to a sore back, while Wade's strained right calf will have him out for a third straight outing. Osman has developed into an integral marksman for the second unit, knocking down 2.5 triples per game, while shooting 43 percent from behind the arc. With Cleveland's frontcourt back to relative full health aside from Wade, he faces a muddled path to consistent playing time, and thereby, season-long fantasy relevance. The next chance for either to suit up comes Friday vs. the Wizards.

Osman has begun to percolate from behind the arc as of late, having averaged 3.8 made triples over his last four contests, in addition to shooting 43% percent from deep this season. While Wade spent nearly all of November in the starting five, his limited offensive role has kept him from season-long fantasy relevance. Without Osman and Wade in the mix Monday, Isaac Okoro and Kevin Love, respectively, stand to see larger roles.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (calf) is listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. He wasn't able to play on Saturday, but likely would've seen a reduced role with Evan Mobley returning. Wade had a few surprising games while Mobley was out, but appears safe to drop in basically all fantasy formats now. Possibly, Wade has some low-end appeal with Cedi Osman (back) questionable as well, but there's no long term value for him.

Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Dean Wade had a successful evening against the Warriors on Thursday, picking up 17 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a 104-89 loss. He shot 7-for-13 from the field and hit half of his six three-point shots in 40 minutes of action with one turnover. Wade generally doesn't get involved in scoring, but he has a habit of picking up something of everything, which grabs the attention of fantasy managers. He's now scored 10-plus points in back-to-back games, but Wade's success could be short-lived, as it seems that Lauri Markkanen (conditioning) is close to returning to the lineup and it looks likely that he'll be back next game.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Lauri Markkanen entered the league's health and safety protocols Wednesday and will miss several games. Markkanen did not participate in the team's shootaround and will not accompany the Cavs on their two-game road trip. In his absence Wednesday, forward Dean Wade will draw the start. Wade could be on the DFS radar Wednesday, having averaged 11.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.2 triples, 2.1 assists, and 1.0 steals per 36 minutes in his career.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (ankle) is considered doubtful for Wednesday's opener in Memphis. Wade is more realistically day-to-day as he continues to work his way back from a sprained right ankle. However, he isn't expected to have a significant role in the rotation this season, at least right now, so there likely aren't too many fantasy managers whom the latest update will impact.
