Tue Feb 19 201321:38Jordan Crawford doesn't play Tuesday
Jordan Crawford threw his jersey into the stands after he didn't play against the Raptors on Tuesday.
He's reportedly on the trade block and the Wizards aren't going to get much when he shows his immaturity. Bradley Beal has asserted himself as an up-and-coming guard and there's really no reason to own Crawford in almost any league. On a lighter note, the lady that caught the jersey was trying to sell it.

Sat Feb 16 201310:54Jordan Crawford available on the cheap
Wizards SG Jordan Crawford is reportedly "eminently available."
Crawford can provide cheap scoring, but there's a reason he has recorded three straight DNP-CDs. He is known for his selfish play and gunner mentality, leading to his tumble down the depth chart. Garrett Temple, Martell Webster, Bradley Beal and Trevor Ariza are all playing ahead of Crawford.

Fri Feb 8 201318:51Report: Jordan Crawford 'in the doghouse'
NBA.com reported on Friday that Jordan Crawford is "in the doghouse."
"We're playing at a good level right now with people we're playing," Randy Wittman said, though the item doesn't clarify much about why Crawford is in the doghouse. Owners can simply file this information away and keep an eye out for whenever he finds his way back to Wittman's good side.

Tue Feb 5 201314:12Wittman on Crawford: He's in a funk
Coach Randy Wittman said Jordan Crawford is "in a funk."
Crawford had a window of opportunity thanks to Brad Beal's wrist woes, but he's failed to capitalize. Over the last six games, Crawford is shooting 32.4 percent from the floor and has a negative-25 plus/minus rating. He bottomed out with just five minutes played on Monday and can be dropped in most formats.

Sat Feb 2 201301:00Jordan Crawford can't capitalize on Friday
Jordan Crawford shot 3-of-10 from the field for eight points with two boards, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday.
Bradley Beal (wrist) could miss some more games, but Crawford didn't do himself any favors by not rising to the occasion on Friday. Although, the matchup wasn't a favorable one and we'd expect him to have more success against the Spurs on Saturday.

Wed Jan 30 201323:13Jordan Crawford disappears in loss
Jordan Crawford hit 1-of-5 shots (a 3-pointer) for three points in just 17 minutes on Wednesday.
Even with Bradley Beal out with a wrist injury, Crawford was nonexistent tonight. He hasn't played well since returning from a sprained ankle a few weeks ago, and there's no reason to own him right now, especially if he's going to disappear on nights when Beal doesn't play.

Mon Jan 28 201322:51Crawford plays 17 minutes against Kings
Jordan Crawford played 17 minutes on Monday, scoring four points on 1-of-5 shooting with one rebound and two assists.
Crawford has had some nice moments since returning from his ankle injury but that hasn't really translated in the box score, where he has been struggling. He may have an opening if Bradley Beal's shooting wrist injury worsens, but for now Crawford should remain on the wire. Congratulations if you sold him high earlier in the year.

Fri Jan 25 201322:15Jordan Crawford scores 19 in 23 minutes
Jordan Crawford provided a spark off the bench in Friday's 114-101 win over Minnesota, shooting 7-of-10 from the field for 19 points to go with three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.
He played 23 minutes in the game and still hasn't played over that amount since returning from his ankle injury on January 18. Crawford will have a tough time prying minutes away from Bradley Beal, so he's not quite worth owning in standard leagues despite 55.6 percent from the field in his last three games.

Tue Jan 22 201301:05Jordan Crawford hits game-winning jumper Mon.
Jordan Crawford hit a 29-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat the Blazers 98-95 on Monday, scoring 13 points with one rebound and one assist in 22 minutes.
He hit two other triples in the game and he shot 5-of-8 from the field. While this is a nice improvement from the combined eight points he had in his two previous games, Crawford still has some work to do to be worth a pickup in standard leagues.

Fri Jan 18 201319:53Jordan Crawford (ankle) is active for Friday
Jordan Crawford (ankle) will come off the bench in Friday's game against the Nuggets.
He said he isn't dealing with pain, but his ankle is still sore and he can't cut and jump like he used to. Bradley Beal has caught fire in Crawford's absence, so the Wizards probably won't give Crawford much run tonight. We'll let you know how he fares tonight.

Thu Jan 17 201310:48Jordan Crawford hoping to return on road trip
Jordan Crawford (ankle) is hoping to return on the current Wizards road trip.
Crawford actually has a bone bruise on his ankle. The Wizards play their next four games on the road before returning home, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Crawford said that he hasn't been 100 percent since initially injuring himself, and he wants to get back to full strength before returning. "It's not sore anymore," he said. "It's just weak." When he does return, the Wizards will work him back into the backcourt mix with John Wall and Bradley Beal.

Wed Jan 16 201320:53Jordan Crawford ruled out for Wednesday
Jordan Crawford has been ruled out for Wednesday's game with his lingering ankle injury.
He's seemingly nearing a return, but isn't ready yet. And with John Wall healthy and Bradley Beal coming on, don't expect to see the same Crawford who was playing so well before the injury once he's finally back.

Mon Jan 14 201318:07Jordan Crawford ruled out for Monday
Jordan Crawford has been ruled out for Monday's game due to his lingering ankle injury.
Crawford missed all of last week and isn't off to a great start this week, either. And with John Wall back from his knee injury, Crawford's role could be shaky once he's ready to play again. Cartier Martin is out with a knee injury, while Trevor Booker is a game-time decision with his ankle injury.

Sat Jan 12 201317:49Jordan Crawford (ankle) will not play Sat.
Jordan Crawford (ankle) will not play against the Hawks on Saturday.
Crawford hasn't played since Sunday with the injury, so this isn't a garden-variety sprain. The Wizards play on Monday and Crawford owners will want keep an eye out for his status. Crawford should experience a hit upon his return with John Wall debuting on Saturday. Bradley Beal should have another big role on Saturday.

Fri Jan 11 201312:39Jordan Crawford out of practice again Friday
Jordan Crawford (ankle) did not practice again on Friday, leaving him questionable for Saturday's game against the Wizards.
Crawford's ankle injury is taking some time to heal and he's still not right. The Wizards may choose to play if safely with Crawford given John Wall (knee) is set to return, but owners will have to check back for an update. If Crawford can't go, Martell Webster, Bradley Beal and Trevor Ariza should all pick up some extra minutes.

Thu Jan 10 201312:49Jordan Crawford out of practice Thursday
Jordan Crawford (ankle) did not practice on Thursday, and his status is uncertain for Saturday's game.
Crawford's ankle still isn't quite right. If he's unable to suit up, look for Bradley Beal, John Wall, Trevor Ariza and Martell Webster all to kick in a little extra.

Mon Jan 7 201318:17Jordan Crawford (ankle) out on Monday
Jordan Crawford will not play on Monday due to an ankle injury.
This helps to explain his dud on Sunday (1-of-7 shooting in 15 minutes) and owners have no choice but to bench him. Presumably he aggravated his recently sprained ankle, but the silver lining is that Washington doesn't play again until Saturday. Bradley Beal and Garrett Temple will be leaned on in his absence.

Mon Jan 7 201302:22Jordan Crawford disappears in loss to Heat
Jordan Crawford played just 15 minutes off the Wizards' bench on Sunday, finishing with two points on 1-of-7 shooting in a loss to the Heat.
There are no reports of an injury and there's little doubt he cost a lot of fantasy owners with Sunday's disappearing act. The Wizards only have two games in the upcoming week, so Crawford should be benched in weekly leagues, and owners in daily leagues have to hope he bounces back in the next one. He had scored 20 and 23 points in his previous two games, so we're guessing this was a random benching against one of the league's best teams.

Sat Jan 5 201300:13Crawford scores 23 points with four treys
Jordan Crawford scored 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting (including four treys) with six rebounds and two assists in 43 minutes off the bench in Friday's double-overtime loss.
Crawford had six turnovers and it's not pretty watching him run haphazardly around the court uncorking shots, but he made a high percentage of them tonight and has taken the insertion of PG Garrett Temple in stride. He'll keep being the focal point on the perimeter until John Wall eventually returns.

Wed Jan 2 201322:43Jordan Crawford bounces back w/ 20 points
Jordan Crawford came off the bench for 20 points, four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 7-of-15 shooting in Wednesday's loss.
He had nine points in his previous game and looks to be over his sprained ankle. No one takes more crazy shots than Crawford, but is somehow shooting 53 percent over his last four games, and averaging 18 points, four boards, four assists and 1.3 3-pointers over that stretch. Keep him in your lineup.
