Tucker scored 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt), a season high, with six rebounds, and three steals in 26 minutes Saturday in the Suns' loss to the Bulls.
With the thinning out of the Suns' wing rotation, Tucker should play a bigger role moving forward. He has now hit at least one three-pointer in seven straight games, as well as grabbing at least six boards in five straight. As a contributor in rebounds as a guard, as well as three-pointers and steals, Tucker should be owned in more leagues than he currently is.

Tucker had 17 points on 7-for-15 shooting, including 3-for-6 from three-point range, Tuesday against Houston. He also added seven rebounds and an assist in 39 minutes on the floor.
Tucker's shot volume was way above normal Tuesday as his 15 attempts were a season high. He averages just 6.4 shots from the field this season, so Tuesday's game was a bit of an outlier for Tucker. Expect his scoring to go back down after the break.

Tucker scored 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with 10 rebounds, one assist and two steals in 31 minutes during Wednesday's victory against the Wizards.
Tucker is best used as a streaming option for rebounds and steals as his playing time and production is far too inconsistent to rely on.

Tucker led the Suns in bench minutes in a loss to the Magic Sunday, scoring seven points (2-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT).
Tucker played in 30 minutes, and really cut in to starter Marcus Morris' playing time. Morris had just 20 minutes Sunday, and went 1-for-6 from the floor. With Isaiah Thomas out, the Suns likely won't be using many three-guard lineups, which opens up some time at small forward, but the battle between Morris and Tucker will be interesting to watch in the near future.

Tucker scored 16 points (6-8 FG, 2-4 3P, 2-2 FT) with seven rebounds in 30 minutes off the bench Wednesday.
Tucker put Monday's benching behind him and responded with his best scoring night of the season so far. His overall numbers have been down this season, but in deep leagues his ability to contribute in multiple categories still gives him some value.
Mon Nov 17 201419:22Tucker inactive Monday at Boston due to violation of team rules
Tucker is inactive Monday at Boston due to a violation of team rules, the Arizona Republic reports.
On Sunday, Tucker missed the team bus to the airport and thus will be absent for the fourth time this season. While Marcus Morris will start at the three, Gerald Green and Anthony Tolliver should take advantage of the vacant minutes left behind by Tucker.

Tucker totaled five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt), 11 rebounds, two assists, four steals, and one block in 26 minutes during the Suns' 102-91 loss versus the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
In Tucker's second game back he was a monster on the glass, and the defense and hustle he provides should help him carve out at least 25 minutes per game. Still, what he brings to the table for the Suns doesn't always translate into must-own fantasy stats, and his value may be limited outside of deeper leagues.
Wed Nov 5 201407:19P.J. Tucker:
Tucker made his first appearance of the season Tuesday after serving a three-game suspension for an offseason DUI, scoring three points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-0 FT) against the Lakers.
Tucker's only basket came at the very end of the game, and was held scoreless for most of the contest. In his first work of the year, Tucker played 20 minutes and added on five rebounds and two assists. Now that his suspension is up, Tucker will continue to serve a role off the bench for the Suns.

Tucker should be available for Tuesday's game against the Lakers after sitting out the first three due to suspension.
Tucker was suspended for three games after being arrested and charged with a DUI in May. He should play a decent role for the Suns, but it's still somewhat unclear exactly what that could be. Marcus Morris has played well while starting at small forward, so it's possible Tucker will begin the season coming off the bench behind Morris. He may also get time at power forward as the season goes on. We'll have to wait and see what coach Jeff Hornacek does on Tuesday.

Tucker has been suspended three games by the NBA following his arrest for a "super extreme DUI" back in May, WEEI.com reports.
It's not exactly a "super extreme" suspension for Tucker, as he'll miss only the first three games of the regular season. The suspension doesn't significantly decrease his value, as he figures to resume his normal responsibilities for the Suns as soon as he serves the ban.

Tucker will serve three days in jail after pleading guilty to a "super extreme DUI" charge, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Tucker, who signed a three-year, $16.5 million deal with the Suns in July, will also be on house arrest for 11 days and will have an interlock ignition device installed on his vehicle for 18 months. In addition, Tucker received five years' probation, a $2,750 fine and must undergo substance abuse screening and counseling. The league has not announced a suspension, though it's almost certain Tucker will receive at least a one or two game ban.
Mon Jul 28 201420:34Tucker arrested in May for 'extreme' DUI
P.J. Tucker was arrested for a "super extreme" DUI in May according to the Arizona Republic.
The details of the alleged incident aren't pretty and a suspension is probably coming down the pipe once the court case has worked itself out.

Wed Jul 23 201420:39Suns make it official with P.J. Tucker deal
Suns sign G/F P.J. Tucker.
It's a great signing for the Suns at three years for $16.5 million. Tucker had a breakout offensive season last year, averaging a career-high 9.4 points, 6.5 boards, 1.7 assists and 0.9 triples. He saw 30.7 minutes per game last season, but that number may come down a bit given how well rookie T.J. Warren fared in Las Vegas.

Thu Jul 10 201419:31Suns re-sign P.J. Tucker on three-year deal
The Suns will re-sign forward PJ Tucker to a three-year, $16.5 million deal.
Considering some of the other deals being shelled out lately, this is a very good one for the Suns. Tucker outplayed his contract last year which paid him less than $1 million, but he turned out to be one of the better perimeter defenders in the NBA while adding a nice perimeter game. He'll be looking at a similar role next season unless rookie T.J. Warren usurps his playing time.

Fri Jun 27 201415:24Suns extend qualifying offer to P.J. Tucker
The Suns extended their qualifying offer to P.J. Tucker on Friday.
P.J. Tucker is now officially a restricted free agent. Tucker is a defensive minded, jack-of-all-trades kind of player, and it will be interesting to see what kind of offers he fetches on the open market. Tucker posted career-highs across the board in his second season with the Suns averaging 9.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals through 30.7 minutes of action.

Sun Jun 15 201417:23Suns aim to re-sign restricted FA P.J. Tucker
The Suns are eager to retain restricted free agent P.J. Tucker, and he's expressed a desire to remain in Phoenix.
"If I could be here, I would love to be here," Tucker said, but he may not be willing to accept a smaller annual salary to keep the Suns' promising core intact. "It's like the best and worst situation," Tucker said. "I'm going to be in a better position businesswise, but maybe I have to go to a team that's not so good ... [The Suns] have talked to me and said they want to have me back."

Mon Apr 7 201400:14P.J. Tucker scores 22 pts in big win over OKC
P.J. Tucker came up huge in Sunday's win vs. the Thunder, scoring 22 points on only nine shot attempts while adding seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.
Tucker got hit hard in the face, which caused him to briefly exit, but it may also have fired him up as he played with singular ferocity down the stretch. He drained 4-of-5 shots from downtown, which highlights his sneaky fantasy value -- with season averages of 9.6 points, 0.9 threes, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals, Tucker has established himself as a reliable top-100 roto option.

Mon Mar 24 201422:44P.J. Tucker plays well in start vs. ATL
P.J. Tucker played 36 minutes against the Hawks on Monday with eight points, 11 boards, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.
He suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's win over the Wolves and it was not a factor tonight. Tucker has really come on strong in his age-28 season and it's hard to believe he was out of the NBA from 2007-12. He is a solid player to own in deeper formats and his presence as a perimeter defender has really helped him hold his average of 31 minutes per game.

Sun Mar 23 201418:21P.J. Tucker tweaks ankle, scores 19 points
P.J. Tucker injured his ankle vs. the Wolves on Sunday, but he was able to return and finish with 19 points, two 3-pointers and eight rebounds in a comeback victory.
Tucker drained 6-of-11 field goals (including two 3-pointers) and 5-of-5 free throws, without showing any obvious discomfort from his injury in the second half. We'll keep an eye on him in case the injury worsens before Monday's game in Atlanta, but for now we're considering him probable.

Sat Mar 15 201400:06P.J. Tucker plays 41 minutes vs. Celtics
P.J. Tucker played a team-high 41 minutes against the Celtics on Friday with 11 points, 10 boards, five steals and one 3-pointer.
He was suspended during Wednesday's game for hitting Blake Griffin in the head on Monday and he should still see starters minutes. The Suns are likely going to keep Gerald Green as a third guard which should only hurt Tucker's shot total and not his minutes. He's a solid guy in 14- and 16-team leagues.
