Jungmann will remain in the Brewers' rotation for another turn and start Sunday against the Nationals, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Jungmann earned another start with the big club by giving up just three hits over seven innings and picking up the win in his big league debut Tuesday. It's not certain that he will remain in the big league rotation beyond Sunday, but the Brewers are still looking for a regular fifth starter with Wily Peralta (ribs) sidelined, and Jungmann now has the upper hand for the spot.

Jungmann was dominant in his Major League debut Tuesday, holding the Pirates to just one run in seven innings to earn the win.
Jungmann only allowed three hits and fanned five in the impressive start. After posting a troubling 6.39 ERA through 11 appearances with Triple-A Colorado Springs, Tuesday's success was a bit of a surprise. If he gets another turn in the rotation Jungmann will likely take the ball against the Royals early next week.
Tue Jun 9 201515:16Jungmann recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday
Jungmann was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.
Jungmann will jump right into the Brewers' rotation and make his big league debut Tuesday night in Pittsburgh. He is one of the Brewers' better pitching prospects as a former first-rounder, but he has really struggled this year, posting a 6.37 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 11 games, including nine starts, with Colorado Springs. The Brewers have not announced if Jungmann will remain in rotation moving forward, but his performance Tuesday figures to play a key factor in the decision.

Jungmann will be recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday and start against the Pirates.
Jungmann has been considered for a spot start multiple times this season, but it will finally happen Tuesday evening in Pittsburgh. The 25-year-old right-hander owns a 6.37 ERA and 1.52 WHIP through 59.1 innings this year, but at least a part of those shaky numbers can be attributed to a hitter-friendly ballpark and league in general. He's been better of late, however, collecting quality starts in two of his last three outings.

Jungmann tossed seven innings in each of his last two starts with Triple-A Colorado Springs. Over that span, he allowed 11 hits, five earned runs -- good for a 3.21 ERA -- and posted a 15:3 K:BB ratio.
Jungmann has been knocked around several times this year, giving up at least five earned runs in five of his 10 appearances, but he was sharp over his last two outings. Jungmann is not on the verge of being called up, but the Brewers are in need of a fifth starter at the moment, so he could get a chance with the big club if he continues pitching well.
Wed May 27 201513:17Jungmann option to be called up to start Tuesday's game in St
Jungmann is an option to be called up to start Tuesday's game in St. Louis, the Journal-Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports.
Wily Peralta is on the 15-day DL with a rib-cage strain and Tuesday is the first day when the Brewers will require a replacement in the rotation. The other candidate, according to manager Craig Counsell, is Tyler Thornburg. Jungmann, a 6-foot-6 righty who was a first-round pick in the 2011 draft, may appear to have the pedigree of a frontline arm, but he has never really flashed that potential in the minor leagues. His numbers at Triple-A Colorado Springs should be taken with a grain of salt given the extreme hitting environment, but if Jungmann were to get the call he should still be viewed as a fringe big-league starter.

Jungmann has allowed 19 earned runs in 16.2 innings (10.26 ERA) over four starts with Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Jungmann has given up just one home run and has struck out 15 batters in his 16.1 frames, but he has allowed an average of over two runners per inning up to this point, and has not had much luck keeping runs off the board. Jungmann was the Brewers' de facto sixth starter to open the season, but it seems unlikely that he would even be considered for a big league job until he gets things back on track.
Thu Mar 19 201516:39Jungmann optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Thursday
Jungmann was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Thursday.
Jungmann will begin the season with the Skysox after he made his Triple-A debut last season. He posted a 3.98 ERA over 101.2 innings (18 starts) and will likely reach the major league level at some point this season, as he's the first in line to be called up in the event of an injury.
Mon Feb 23 201512:43Jungmann currently positioned as Brewers' sixth starter
Jungmann is currently positioned as the Brewers' sixth starter, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Jungmann has never pitched in the majors and just reached Triple-A for the first time last season, so the Brewers could opt to add a veteran with some big league starts under his belt before the regular season kicks off. However, as things stand, Jungmann would be next in line should anything happen to one of the Brewers' projected five starters. In his Triple-A debut, Jungmann posted a 3.98 ERA and 101:46 K:BB ratio in 101.2 innings over 19 games (18 starts).
Thu Nov 20 201411:31Jungmann added to 40-man roster
Jungmann has been added to the 40-man roster.
With Thursday marking the deadline to place players on the 40-man, thus revoking their Rule 5 Draft eligibility, the Brewers added Jungmann, who spent last season at Triple-A Nashville. The 24-year-old pitched 101.2 cumulative innings, posting a 3.98 ERA and 8-6 record with a 1.318 WHIP.
Thu May 29 201409:29Brewers RHP prospect Jungmann goes six strong
Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Taylor Jungmann went six strong innings on Wednesday in his first start for Triple-A Nashville, striking out three.
Jungmann bounced back from a rough Triple-A debut to allow four hits and one walk. He does not have the high ceiling that many thought was possible when he was drafted, but he could become a solid innings-eater at the back of a rotation. His WHIP and home run rates have jumped a little in his first two Triple-A appearances, but they could be due to small sample sizes. He could make his major league debut later this season if there is a need.

Sat May 3 201412:00Brewers RHP prospect Jungmann fans seven
Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Taylor Jungmann fanned seven in six innings for Double-A Huntsville on Friday.
Jungmann has been solid but not spectacular in 2014, putting up a 3.74 ERA with a 1.248 WHIP and 9.4 K/9 for the season. Batters are hitting .248/.319/.400 against him for the season, but with the lack of pitching prospects in the Brewers season, he could see time in Milwaukee if there is a need.

Tue Apr 8 201409:37Brewers RHP prospect Jungmann shines in debut
Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Taylor Jungmann allowed four hits and one run over six innings in his 2014 debut.
Jungmann has failed to impress in his time in the Milwaukee organization, going from a potential top of the rotation stalwart to a back-end starter while struggling to get minor league hitters out. He has returned to Double-A Huntsville for 2014, so if he continues to do well, he could be promoted to Triple-A relatively quickly and finish the season in Milwaukee.

Fri May 3 201320:37Brewers' Jungmann dealing with nerve issue
Brewers general manager Gord Ash said Friday that prospect Taylor Jungmann, who is currently on the minor league disabled list, is dealing with a nerve issue affecting the fingers on his right hand.
Jungmann, who was the 12th overall selection in the 2011 draft, had been off to a brutal start to his 2013 campaign at Double-A Huntsville, posting a 7.89 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 16/14 K/BB ratio over 21 2/3 innings. The organization hopes that being proactive in prescribing rest and treatment will alleviate the symptoms before the issue becomes more serious.
