"But he was moving around well after the game and I'm somewhat optimistic we can avoid the disabled list."

Jankowski will make his third straight start in center field Sunday against the Diamondbacks.

Jankowski has been sharing time in center with Melvin Upton for much of September, but it seems he's pulled ahead in the playing-time picture. As a left-handed hitter, Jankowski should continue to enjoy the larger portion of a platoon over the season's final week, but it's hard to rely on him outside of NL-only leagues at this point.
