Morse will undergo an MRI on his left hip Tuesday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Morse suffered a hip injury during batting practice Monday, which subsequently caused him to be scratched from the lineup. As a result, the Giants will send him for an MRI to obtain more information on the ailment. Consider him day-to-day for now, with Joaquin Arias and Travis Ishikawa representing potential candidates to take his place at first if he has to miss additional time.

Morse hasn't missed a game since July 3, so he is likely getting a well-deserved day off Monday. Juan Perez will start in left and bat eighth for the Giants.
