Fri Aug 10 201209:42Duhon to be sent to Lakers in Howard deal
Chris Duhon will be traded to the Lakers in the four-team deal for Dwight Howard.
Duhon told the Orlando Sentinel that he is "definitely" in the deal, while CBS Sports reports that Duhon will be sent to L.A. with Earl Clark and Howard in the trade. Duhon will serve as the third-string point guard behind Steve Nash and Steve Blake, offering absolutely no fantasy value.

Tue May 8 201218:04Chris Duhon still the backup PG
Chris Duhon will continue to serve as the backup point guard in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers.
Duhon has come under fire from Orlando media and fans as he's scored just three points in 52 minutes of action during the series. Still, coach Stan Van Gundy isn't going to turn to Ish Smith behind Jameer Nelson, citing Duhon's effective plus/minus through the first three games of the series.

Fri Apr 13 201211:54Chris Duhon goes through shootaround
Chris Duhon (foot) participated in all of shootaround on Friday.
Duhon's foot injury clearly isn't anything serious if he went through the entire session. It's unclear if or when he will regain his backup point guard spot from Ish Smith at some point in the future, but neither player carries fantasy appeal.

Thu Apr 12 201213:10Chris Duhon to undergo MRI on injured foot
Updating a previous item, Chris Duhon will undergo an MRI on his sore foot on Thursday.
We're going to mark him sidelined since he hasn't played in either of the last two games. Duhon revealed that his foot has been bothering him since Saturday, and the exam should shed light on exactly what he's dealing with in terms of an injury. Ish Smith will continue to serve as the backup point guard.

Tue Apr 10 201218:24Chris Duhon back, but acting as third PG
Chris Duhon is back from suspension Tuesday, but Ish Smith will still serve as Jameer Nelson's backup.
Smith racked up six points, seven assists and three steals on Monday night. That was enough for him to stick as the primary backup for at least one more game.

Mon Apr 9 201218:37Chris Duhon suspended for one game
Chris Duhon has been suspended for Monday's game against the Pistons for conduct detrimental to the team.
Duhon's suspension doesn't appear to have anything to do with the Dwight Howard soap opera. His agent says he had some personal issues that came up but they've since been taken care of. The backup point guard is expected to play Tuesday, with Ish Smith filling in behind Jameer Nelson Monday.

Thu Feb 23 201222:52Duhon scores six points in start for Nelson
Chris Duhon started for injured/resting Jameer Nelson (knee) on Thursday, scoring six points on 3-of-9 shooting (no threes) with three rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block in 28 minutes.
If you used Duhon in a spot-start we'd call this line a win, so remember that the next time Nelson goes out and Duhon gets the nod.

Fri Feb 3 201223:47Duhon scores eight points with five assists
Chris Duhon started for injured Jameer Nelson (concussion) on Friday, scoring eight points on 3-of-8 shooting (including two threes) with two rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 36 minutes.
As long as Duhon plays like this and the Magic continue to win then he should hold off any challenge from newcomer Ish Smith, but for fantasy purposes he's a desperate spot-starting option at best. Nelson is said to have a chance at playing on Monday, but only the folks in the Magic locker room know what's really going on there.

Mon Jan 30 201222:34Duhon starts for injured Nelson (concussion)
Chris Duhon started for injured Jameer Nelson (concussion) on Monday, scoring three points on 1-of-4 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in 35 minutes.
This is a Duhon line if we've ever seen one, highlighting the trouble he can be even when given starter's minutes. He'll be here all week -- just remember to tip Nelson's owners on the way out.

Fri Dec 30 201121:49Duhon starts and doesn't do much for ORL
Chris Duhon started for injured Jameer Nelson (neck) and didn't do much, scoring two points on 1-of-1 shooting with two rebounds and six assists in 32 minutes.
We warned about this, though Hedo Turkoglu wasn't the culprit and instead Duhon's general indifference toward producing. Should Nelson miss more time, Duhon is a bad desperation option in daily formats.

Thu Dec 29 201123:16Duhon may end up starting on Friday
Chris Duhon played 28 minutes on Thursday due to Jameer Nelson's neck stinger, and finished with nine points on 3-of-6 shooting (3-of-4 from downtown) with one rebound, four assists, and a steal.
If you add him as a spot-starter in the event Nelson misses Friday's game against the Bobcats, this type of output should be considered a win and is by no means guaranteed. Hedo Turkoglu will also handle point forward duties, but give Duhon a look if you're in a pinch and Nelson is out.

Sat Dec 24 201109:39Chris Duhon confident he'll bounce back
After shooting just 38% from the field last season, Chris Duhon is confident that he'll be much improved in his second season with the Magic.
Duhon made just 25% of his three-pointers and clearly lost confidence in his shot, a situation that only got worse when Gilbert Arenas arrived mid-season. He had a shining moment of fantasy glory while with the Knicks, but isn't currently worth a roster spot unless Jameer Nelson is injured.

Wed Apr 27 201109:29Duhon still feeling pain in ankle
Chris Duhon admitted he is still feeling pain in his sprained left ankle.
Duhon played three minutes on Tuesday night in garbage time. He'll likely go back to DNP-CD status for Game 6.

Sat Apr 23 201100:15Duhon sidelined with sprained left ankle
Chris Duhon did not play on Friday due to a sprained left ankle, and is questionable for Sunday's Game 4 against the Hawks.
With Gilbert Arenas in the Witness Protection Program, and Jason Richardson likely to be suspended for Game 4, this could prove to be somewhat irritating for Orlando. Stan Van Gundy looks like he'd rather break bread with David Stern than play Arenas, who is starring in one of the worst trades in recent memory.

Tue Apr 5 201122:45Chris Duhon returns, plays 11 mins. in return
Chris Duhon (thumb) failed to score in 11 minutes off of the bench after making his return to the court.
Duhon had been sidelined with a sprained ligament in his thumb, but he appears to be healthy enough to play. Fortunately, he doesn't have a big role on the team and is nothing more than veteran insurance once the playoffs start for Orlando.

Tue Apr 5 201117:31Duhon will return against Bucks on Tuesday
Chris Duhon (thumb) will return to action on Tuesday when the Magic host Milwaukee.
He hasn't been worth owning since he went on his unsustainable run as starting point guard of the Knicks.

Fri Apr 1 201113:14Chris Duhon (thumb) could play next week
An MRI on Chris Duhon's injured right thumb showed a sprained ligament but no fracture, and he could return to action as soon as next week.
The Magic were concerned that the MRI would reveal a serious injury, so this is good news. Duhon is the team's third-string PG and isn't likely to even be part of the postseason rotation.
