Linas Kleiza (hip) returned to action on Friday, scoring three points on 1-of-5 shooting (including a three) with one rebound and one assist in six minutes.
Kleiza has been known to have a nice scoring line from time to time, but with Mickael Pietrus running well there is no reason to consider Kleiza in the vast majority of formats.

Fri Dec 7 201214:40Linas Kleiza will be available against Jazz
Linas Kleiza will be available to play Friday against the Jazz.
Kleiza has been out of the lineup since last Wednesday, but his return is unlikely to change his fantasy value. He can remain on the waiver wive. If anything, this could hurt the value for Terrence Ross. Keep an eye on how Dwane Casey divides up the minutes Friday.

Wed Dec 5 201220:58Linas Kleiza (hip) will not play on Wednesday
Linas Kleiza (hip) will not play against the Kings on Wednesday.
Kleiza has been bothered by numerous injuries in the recent part of his career. Most of his absences stem from his microfracture surgery, but this hip injury has kept him out of the lineup since last Wednesday. He can be left on the waiver wire and we're hoping to see Terrence Ross get some extra minutes.

Wed Dec 5 201214:48Linas Kleiza unlikely to return Thursday
Linas Kleiza (hip) is working out but is doubtful to play Wednesday against the Raptors.
Kleiza, who missed Monday's game with the injury, isn't really worth owning in most fantasy leagues. Mostly a spot-starting option, the injury could cost him whatever assured minutes he had in the wake of Toronto's injuries. Look for more from Terrence Ross and Mickael Pietrus while Kleiza sits.

Mon Dec 3 201219:35Kleiza (hip) doubtful for Monday vs. DEN
Linas Kleiza (hip) will warm up but is doubtful for Monday's game against the Nuggets.
Kleiza is barely a spot-starting option when he's healthy and assured of minutes, so owners should simply stay away tonight. Terrence Ross and Mickael Pietrus stand to benefit from his absence, and Pietrus will start in his place.

Mon Dec 3 201214:40Kleiza game-time on Monday w/ sore hip
Linas Kleiza missed shootaround on Monday due to a sore hip, and he will be a game-time decision vs. the Nuggets.
Kleiza has cracked double-digit points just once in the past six games, and there's not nearly enough upside to gamble on him in standard-sized leagues.

Thu Nov 29 201200:22Kleiza starts Wednesday and plays 25 minutes
Linas Kleiza started on Wednesday and had 11 points, three rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes against the Grizzlies.
Dwane Casey likely put Kleiza in the starting lineup in an effort to add offense to the first unit with Andrea Bargnani (ankle) out due to injury. He shot just 5-of-15 from the field tonight and his value really doesn't go up much even with the starting distinction.

Sun Nov 18 201215:35Linas Kleiza adds 12 points off the bench
Linas Kleiza scored 12 points off the bench in 26 minutes on Sunday, adding five rebounds and two 3-pointers against the Magic.
Kleiza has been in double figures for four straight and has been relatively consistent. He's someone to consider in deep leagues until the Raptors get healthy.

Sat Nov 17 201215:57Linas Kleiza has 10 points in 24 minutes
Linas Kleiza (ankle) played 24 minutes off the bench and scored 10 points against the Celtics on Saturday.
Kleiza has benefited from the Raptors being decimated by injuries, but he's had trouble staying healthy as well. He has missed practice recently and it's going to be tough to own a guy that only has short-term value and misses several games due to injury.

Sat Nov 17 201212:05Linas Kleiza active, to play against Celtics
Linas Kleiza (ankle) was active and will play against the Celtics on Saturday.
Kleiza and Amir Johnson (flu) were both in the lineup despite being limited in recent days. Kleiza has a major opportunity with Alan Anderson (ankle) and Landry Fields (elbow) sidelined. Don't pounce on Kleiza just yet, but definitely keep your eye on him.

Fri Nov 16 201213:43Linas Kleiza limited in practice, should play
Linas Kleiza (ankle) was limited in practice Friday, but he is expected to play Saturday.
Amir Johnson also missed practice with the flu bug that's been getting around, but it's Kleiza that fantasy owners need to watch. With Alan Anderson (ankle) and Landry Fields (elbow) both out for extended periods of time, there is a definite opportunity for Kleiza to expand his role. Now, let's see if he capitalizes on that chance.

Thu Nov 15 201214:06Linas Kleiza out Thursday w/ sore ankle
Linas Kleiza sat out Thursday's practice with a sore ankle, but Dwane Casey expects him to play on Saturday.
The Raptors are looking like the T-Wolves of the East with injured players piling up each day, but at least Kleiza's injury isn't long-term. He should step into a much bigger role with Alan Anderson (ankle) and Landry Fields (elbow) out of the picture for a while, and fantasy owners should keep a close eye on him this week.

Linas Kleiza scored 20 points off the bench in Monday's triple-overtime loss, hitting 7-of-16 shots (including three treys) with seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 30 minutes.
If Kyle Lowry and Landry Fields remain out, then Kleiza could hold some short-term value in deeper formats.

Sat Nov 10 201223:41Linas Kleiza scoreless in his season debut
Linas Kleiza returned from a personal absence to make his season debut vs. the 76ers on Saturday, going scoreless in 12 minutes.
Kleiza played well during the Olympics and came into training camp with some momentum, but the Raptors are too deep on the wings to rely on him in standard leagues, even with Landry Fields (hand) injured and struggling.

Sat Nov 10 201215:47Linas Kleiza is expected to play Saturday
Linas Kleiza (personal) is expected to return to the Toronto lineup on Saturday.
Kleiza missed the last four games and the Raptors rotation has turned into quite a mess in his absence. He has been on the fantasy radar before, but he'll likely need one or two injuries in order to become relevant in standard leagues.

Mon Nov 5 201219:12Kleiza (personal) does not travel with team
Linas Kleiza did not travel with the Raptors for games on Tuesday and Wednesday against the Thunder and Mavs, respectively, due to a family matter.
Kleiza's role in the rotation has been soaked up by Alan Anderson, who has performed fairly well. For those in deep leagues that took a flier on Anderson, you'll want to watch how Kleiza gets deployed when he returns.

Sat Nov 3 201218:32Linas Kleiza not with team on Saturday
Linas Kleiza (personal) is not with the team for Saturday's game against the Nets.
He has an excused absence to deal with a family matter. While he does show up on the fantasy radar from time to time, he'll need a couple injuries before he's worthy of consideration in standard leagues.

Sun Aug 5 201215:26Kleiza thrives for Lithuania in Olympics
Linas Kleiza is averaging 18.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in the Olympics, including a 25-point outburst as Lithuania nearly upset Team USA on Saturday.
Kleiza has a great motor and good shooting range, but he was hampered by knee problems for the past few seasons. Now fully recovered, he should have a fine season with the Raptors, and the biggest concern for his fantasy value is the fact that he'll be competing for minutes with DeMar DeRozan, Landry Fields and rookie Terrence Ross.

Sun Apr 22 201220:48Kleiza returns from knee injury on Sunday
Linas Kleiza returned from a sore knee to score 12 points off the bench on Sunday -- he made two 3-pointers and chipped in three rebounds, two assists and one steal.
The Raptors offense sputtered all night long, and they fell to the Pistons 73-76. Kleiza is owed $9.2 million over the next two seasons, but as this season showed he's too erratic for use in most fantasy leagues.
