Thu Nov 18 201017:40Luther Head will continue to start for Kings
Luther Head will remain in the Kings starting lineup, according to coach Paul Westphal, with Beno Udrih coming off the bench.
Head isn't a pure PG but that might actually be Westphal's thinking -- Tyreke Evans needs the ball in his hands on most possessions anyway. Head has 3-point range and could rack up enough points, assists, and steals to merit owning in average leagues -- that is, assuming he can keep the starting gig for more than a few games.

Thu Nov 18 201011:48Westphal hints that lineup could stick
Coach Paul Westphal hinted that last night's news starting lineup might not be just a one-game experiment.
Luther Head started over Beno Udrih and Jason Thompson got the nod instead of Omri Casspi. There is no reason to think this lineup will stick. The Kings lost to the Knicks at home and Westphal used 29 different starting lineups last year. We'd sit tight with roster moves as this mess shakes out.

Sun Nov 14 201020:56Luther Head solid in 26 minutes off SAC bench
Kings backup Luther Head scored 13 points with two rebounds and two assists in a spirited 26 minutes on Sunday.
In the previous three games Head accumulated a total of zero points, zero rebounds, and zero assists, so it's safe to wait and see if he actually sticks in the rotation.
Thu Oct 28 201000:05Head scores 14 with Evans suspended
Luther Head had 14 points, three boards and three assists on Wednesday.
He got extra minutes with Tyreke Evans on a one-game suspension, but should disappear now that Evans is coming back.
Wed Oct 13 201002:48Head starts for Kings, scores 15
Luther Head, who is simply trying to make the Kings opening-night roster, had 15 points and two 3-pointers on 5-of-8 shooting Tuesday.
Beno Udrih got the night off, allowing Head to start. This is a true preseason line and there's no reason to give him a look in fantasy leagues.

Luther Head has signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Kings and will fight for a roster spot during training camp.
Head is guaranteed $992,000 for the 2010-11 season, but only if he's on the Kings roster on December 1st. He has a good chance to make the team, assuming his ankle is healthy.

Fri Sep 3 201013:24Luther Head joins Kings, deal not guaranteed
Luther Head, who was spurned by the Hornets over a bogus failure of his physical, has agreed to go to Kings camp on a non-guaranteed deal.
Head will likely have some good nights regardless of where he ends up this season, but won't be worth owning in most fantasy leagues. J.R. Giddens has also been invited to Kings camp, but it doesn't sound like he's been offered a contract.

Fri Jul 16 201018:12Report: Bucks interested in Luther Head
The Bucks are interested in signing free agent guard Luther Head.
Head had a deal with the Hornets, but controversially 'failed' his physical, at least according to the Hornets. Indications are that he's healthy, and he would make an already ridiculously deep Bucks team that much deeper.

Wed Jul 14 201022:14Head's agent not happy with Hornets
Mark Bartelstein, the agent for Luther Head, is not happy that the Hornets pulled a two-year offer to Luther Head due to "physical issues."
Bartelstein says his client is healthy and that the Hornets have hurt Head's value with the move. He also has issues with the manner in which the deal was rescinded, as well as the timing - as in, shortly after the termination of GM Jeff Bower. It's hard to imagine things getting better in New Orleans until a new owner is in place.
Wed Jul 14 201014:00Hornets withdraw offer to Luther Head
The Hornets have decided to rescind their two-year offer to free agent guard Luther Head after some "physical issues" came up during an exam by the team's medical staff.
No word yet on what sort of preexisting issues they may have found, but assuming it's nothing too serious, we still expect Head to surface as a bench contributor with another team.

Sat Jul 10 201013:11Rockets, Luther Head agree on two-year deal
The Rockets and free agent guard Luther Head have agreed to a two-year contract worth $2.3 million.
The second year is a player option, but it looks like a bargain signing for Houston compared to most of the inflated deals that have been handed out this summer. In 47 games with the Pacers last season, Head averaged 7.6 points and 1.5 assists in 17.3 minutes per game.
