Mon Mar 3 201422:08Neal starts for injured Henderson on Monday
Gary Neal started for injured Gerald Henderson (calf) on Monday, scoring 10 points on 3-of-11 shooting (including two threes) with five assists.
Neal was empty everywhere else except for a pair of free throws on the night. It's unknown what the extent of Henderson's injury is, but for now while it's up in the air Neal is only a speculative add in 12-team formats and a spot-play in deeper leagues.

Mon Mar 3 201418:18Gary Neal will start for Bobcats vs. Heat
Gary Neal is startin on Monday vs. the Heat in place of Gerald Henderson (calf).
Neal has been effective in his two games off the bench with the Bobcats, averaging 13.5 point, 1.0 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.5 triples. He has a decent chance to clear 30 minutes tonight while Luke Ridnour could see a few more minutes tonight as well.

Fri Feb 28 201423:54Gary Neal scores 15 points vs. Spurs
Gary Neal played 23 minutes in his debut with the Bobcats on Friday with 15 points, two boards, one assist and one 3-pointer.
It's hard to believe the Bobcats got him going so fast and be basically just stepped right into Ramon Sessions' minutes tonight. This game did come against his former team, so it should come with a grain of salt. The Bobcats do need a sixth man, which makes Neal worth a look as a low-upside add in some deeper formats.

Fri Feb 28 201419:15Neal and Ridnour to join the rotation
Newly acquired Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour will join the Bobcats' rotation on Friday against the Spurs.
That means that Jannero Pargo and Ben Gordon are out and if that's not the case then it will be interesting to see what happens with Gerald Henderson. Kemba Walker logged 42 minutes in the Bobcats' last game way back on Saturday, and he'll be able to play a more palatable 32-36 minutes going forward.

Sat Feb 22 201409:38Neal, Ridnour to Bobcats trade official
The trade sending Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour to the Bobcats is now official.
The pair are cleared to practice and play with the team, although coach Steve Clifford says he wouldn't have played them on Friday had they been cleared. Both will likely have to go through a practice with their new team before seeing game action, meaning they're unlikely to play on Saturday against Memphis.

Fri Feb 21 201417:55Neal and Ridnour not cleared yet
Gary Neal and Luke Ridnour have not been cleared for Friday's game against the Pelicans.
The trade still has not been approved yet and not all the players have gone through their physicals. Jannero Pargo should see more minutes tonight.

Thu Feb 20 201412:46Gary Neal, Ridnour traded for Ramon Sessions
Gary Neal has been traded to Bobcats.
He was arguably the most likely player to be dealt at the deadline with his displeasure of being on the cellar-dwelling Bucks. The team said they would try to get him to a contender, but we're not sure that's what Neal would call his new team. He has been showcased by the Bucks lately and his 10.8-point, 0.5-triple average over his last five serve as a fair expectation. He's not a pickup in standard leagues.

Thu Feb 20 201411:50Report: Gary Neal to Bobcats in works
Bucks guard Gary Neal is rumored to be heading to Charlotte on Thursday.
Ramon Sessions could be going to the Bucks in return, but we're still awaiting for details of the deal to arrive. Neal probably wouldn't have any more value in Charlotte than he did in Milwaukee, while Sessions would likely just get lost in Larry Drew's crowd if it happens.

Wed Feb 19 201417:42Teams of interest for Gary Neal emerge
The Suns, Bobcats, Thunder, Wolves, and Kings are reportedly interested in Gary Neal.
He's not a big name at all, but he might be one of the most likely players to be shipped before the deadline. Neal would just provide some emergency depth on most teams and is not worth stashing in the vast majority of teams. His departure also helps solidify Nate Wolters' fantasy value a bit.

Fri Feb 14 201421:11Bucks looking to deal Gary Neal
The Bucks will help Gary Neal move to a competitive team and are talking on several trade fronts, according to Yahoo! Sports.
This is consistent with local reports and things have soured with Neal somewhat quickly. The team has been showcasing him a little lately with some extended minutes as the backup shooting guard and he's shown he can play. The Bucks are unlikely to get much value back in a deal and Neal would likely lose fantasy value on another team.

Thu Feb 13 201401:07Gary Neal scores 18 points in 29 minutes
Gary Neal scored 18 points in 29 minutes against the Pelicans on Wednesday with one board, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.
The sense around the team is he will be traded at the deadline and would likely lose fantasy value on another team. Neal is only worth a look in deeper leagues for owners seeking points and treys.

Mon Feb 10 201423:22Neal scores 17 points off the bench
Gary Neal scored 17 points off the bench on Monday, hitting 6-of-11 shots (including a three) with one rebound and two assists in 19 minutes.
Neal will need to do this consistently for a handful of games before fantasy owners should move a muscle. His standing in the Bucks rotation is tenuous at best.

Wed Feb 5 201421:12Gary Neal available to play on Wednesday nigh
Gary Neal (back) is available to play against the Nuggets on Wednesday night.
He is not a lock to play, but he will be in uniform. Neal has stepped in as a second-unit shooting guard while O.J. Mayo out with whatever illness he's dealing with.

Wed Feb 5 201420:44Gary Neal unlikely to play vs. Nuggets
Gary Neal (back) is unlikely to play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
He is a game-time decision for the road outing after missing practice on Tuesday due to back stiffness. Unlike his last time out of the rotation, this seems to be a legitimate injury. Look for the Bucks to go with a lot of Nate Wolters and Brandon Knight to handle most of the minutes at guard with a little Luke Ridnour.

Tue Feb 4 201414:52Gary Neal leaves practice with stiff back
Gary Neal left Tuesday's practice with a stiff back.
The Bucks play at Denver on Wednesday and we're considering Neal questionable for that game, though his absence shouldn't have any fantasy-league impact.

Fri Jan 31 201422:20Gary Neal gets some run vs. Magic
Gary Neal played 24 minutes off the bench against the Magic on Friday with 13 points, one board, one assist, one steal and three turnovers.
It's his first game action since Jan. 19 and desperate times called for desperate measures for coach Larry Drew. Neal looked fine tonight and was getting his own shot quite a bit and he might be ahead of Luke Ridnour for now. Of course, that could change tomorrow.

Sun Jan 19 201421:25Gary Neal (illness) shoots 1-of-8 in return
Gary Neal (illness) returned to action vs. his former team on Sunday, but only scored three points on 1-of-8 shooting in 18 minutes off the bench.
ESPN's Marc Stein reported in early January that the Bucks "will do everything they can to find a new home [for Neal]," and his return to action was probably a by-product of Luke Ridnour's wrist injury. Milwaukee signed him to a two-year, $6.5 million contract this summer and it didn't take long for both sides to regret the pact -- given Neal's career-worst 39.4 percent shooting this season, it's anyone's guess whether the Bucks will find a trade partner.

Sun Jan 19 201418:00Gary Neal (illness) available to play Spurs
Gary Neal (illness) is feeling better and should be available to face the Spurs on Sunday.
This doesn't mean that he'll actually join the lineup, however, as Neal has fallen out of the rotation and the Bucks are reportedly trying to find a way to trade him.

Sat Jan 18 201419:05Gary Neal won't play against the Rockets
Gary Neal (illness) will not play against the Rockets on Saturday night.
He will be at the arena after missing shootaround due to an illness. Neal hasn't exactly worked out for the Bucks this offseason and has't played in the past five games. Look for Luke Ridnour to get most of the minutes at shooting guard again tonight.
