Wed Feb 13 201323:52Jason Terry scores 12 in 26 minutes
Jason Terry scored 12 points in Wednesday's ugly 71-69 win over the Bulls, adding one rebound, three assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.
That's four nice games in a row for Jason Eugene Terry and he hit 10 3-pointers in that span. The loss of Leandro Barbosa should maximize his chances as long as Boston doesn't look to hurt his value on the trade front. Avery Bradley (10 points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 26 minutes) fouled out, but he played some good D. Terry has a leg up on Bradley and Courtney Lee (seven points and two steals in 28 minutes).

Sun Feb 10 201321:59Jason Terry scores 26 points w/ five 3s
The Celtics outlasted the red-hot Nuggets on Sunday with a nice boost from Jason Terry, who scored 26 points with five 3-pointers, two rebounds and three steals in 43 minutes off the bench.
Terry has been the steadiest of Boston's four-man backcourt rotation, which includes Avery Bradley (13 points in 46 minutes), Courtney Lee (two points in 23 minutes) and Leandro Barbosa (five points in 17 minutes). Terry is only attempting 6.2 shots per game since Rajon Rondo went down, however, and he's a mid-to-late round value until nights like this occur with greater frequency.

Thu Feb 7 201323:10Jason Terry plays well in 28 minutes
Jason Terry shot 5-of-6 from the field for 15 points with four boards, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers vs. the Lakers on Thursday.
It was a nice bounce-back game from the two points he scored on Wednesday. Terry has been surprisingly hot in his last five, shooting 64.5 percent from the field. However, he's only taken 6.2 shots per game over that span, so he'll need a bigger allotment of shots to hold value in standard leagues.

Sat Feb 2 201309:04Rising expectation Celtics could make a move
There is a "rising expectation" that the Celtics will look to move one of Jason Terry, Courtney Lee or Brandon Bass before the trade deadline to get under the luxury-tax threshold.
In other words, the Celtics are far more likely to make a minor deal than to blow it up. Bass was re-signed to a three-year, $20 million deal in the offseason, and with Jared Sullinger (back) done for the season, it's hard to imagine the Celtics shipping out frontcourt depth. It's more likely that the C's move one of Terry or Lee if they do make a move, but both players also signed multi-year contracts in the offseason.

Fri Feb 1 201317:30Report: Teams asking about Jason Terry
Sources tell CBS Sports that teams "have begun inquiring" about Jason Terry.
Now that the Celtics have lost two starters (Rajon Rondo, Jared Sullinger) in a week, the sharks smell blood. Boston reportedly remains in "wait-and-see" mode, but it's hard to see them not doing something at the Feb. 21 deadline to get under the tax line. At 22-23, there's no real hope for a title run here. Terry would attract interest from contending teams as a spark off the bench.

Wed Jan 30 201323:01Jason Terry plays 22 minutes, scores 12
Jason Terry scored 12 points to go with two rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers on 5-of-7 shooting during Wednesday's win over Sacramento.
He played just 22 minutes and this was his best shooting performance in three weeks. Terry said that the new style with Rajon Rondo out is more conducive to his game, which is a good sign since he shot put 39 percent from the field in in January before tonight. He's worth a look in standard leagues, especially for owners needing 3-pointers.

Sun Jan 27 201316:48Jason Terry plays 32 minutes, scores 13
Jason Terry came off the bench for 13 points with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block on 4-of-12 shooting 32 minutes against the Heat on Sunday.
He handled some of the point guard duties for the Celtics and he'll be part of the patchwork solution with Rajon Rondo out for the year. The Jet hasn't made much of an impact in the month of January, averaging 6.1 points, 2.4 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.9 triples in 21.5 minutes. However, he's still worth a look in standard leagues.

Wed Jan 9 201323:40Jason Terry comes back with 13 points
Jason Terry bounced back on Wednesday with 13 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in a 87-79 win over the Suns.
He stunk up MSG on Monday with just two points and was mired in a shooting slump, making just 36.0 percent of his field goals in his last 10 games. The Jet isn't quite a must-own property with Avery Bradley (nine points and two steals in 18 minutes) not likely to go away because of his defense, but Terry should be useful for owners needing scoring and threes.

Mon Jan 7 201322:30Jason Terry comes up empty in start
Jason Terry shot 1-of-7 from the field for two points with four rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes against the Knicks on Monday.
He really could have used a good game with Rajon Rondo out due to a suspension and he played just 41 minutes combined in his two previous games with Avery Bradley back in the lineup. Terry should still hold some value for his 3-point prowess, but it looks like he'll be trending down.

Mon Jan 7 201318:34Jason Terry to start due to Rondo suspension
Jason Terry will start for the Celtics on Monday due to Rajon Rondo's one-game suspension for contact with an official.
Terry and Avery Bradley will make up the Celtics back court tonight and this looks like as good a time as ever to make sure the Jet in in your lineup.

Sat Jan 5 201304:12Terry struggles in blowout win
Jason Terry struggled in Friday's blowout win, scoring six points on 2-of-8 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 15 minutes.
Yuck. We're trying not to overvalue one game around here but it's not like Terry has been scorching the nets recently. It's still possible that he holds some late round value, but the return of Avery Bradley (six points, 3-of-11 FGs, 23 minutes) was going to be challenging and tonight's result underlined that reality.

Mon Dec 31 201200:21Jason Terry ties season-high w/ 20 points
Jason Terry matched his season-high with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting in Sunday's game, though he didn't have any assists in 33 minutes.
JET chose an awkward time to break out of his shooting funk, since Avery Bradley is targeting a return on Wednesday. Savor tonight's production because it's unlikely to last very long.

Fri Dec 28 201201:24Jason Terry scores 10 points with five boards
Jason Terry scored 10 points with five rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in a loss to the Clippers on Thursday.
The JET has made 10 triples in his last four games with 10.0 points per game in that stretch. He's cooling off at the wrong time and his value figures to take a hit once Avery Bradley (shoulders) can make his season debut. We wouldn't cut him or anything, but just keep an eye on what happens once Bradley suits up.

Sat Dec 22 201201:34Terry hits just 1-of-15 shots vs. Bucks
Jason Terry hit just 1-of-15 shots in Friday's overtime loss, scoring four points with one assist in 32 minutes.
Wow. It's hard work being that bad, but all kidding aside there are clear problems integrating Terry into the offense right now and it's resulting in major inconsistency. We still like his chances to hold late round value until Avery Bradley returns, and possibly beyond, so try to fend off the urge to drop him and/or send him a sternly worded letter.

Thu Dec 20 201208:33Doc Rivers wants to keep Terry involved
Doc Rivers reinserted Jason Terry into the starting lineup because he wanted Terry to get more offensive opportunities.
Rivers alluded to the fact that Terry wouldn't play with a point guard in the second unit who can get him the ball, something Rajon Rondo is capable of doing. He had 15 points on 6-of-9 shots Wednesday (including three 3-pointers), so expect him to continue starting at least until Avery Bradley returns.

Thu Dec 20 201200:14Jason Terry bounces back on Wednesday
Jason Terry returned tot he starting lineup on Wednesday and hit 6-of-9 shots and three 3-pointers for 15 points, three rebounds, four assists and a steal.
He scored just two points in his last one, but looked much better tonight. If he stays in the starting unit and you need a 3-point shooter, Terry is worth a look. Despite Tuesday's disaster, he's still averaging 11 points and 2.4 3-pointers over his last five games.

Wed Dec 19 201218:35Jason Terry to start over Courtney Lee
The Celtics will start Jason Terry over Courtney Lee at SG on Wednesday night.
Terry is coming off a season-low two points Tuesday and it's possible Doc Rivers is trying to jump-start him. Terry and Lee have flip-flopped throughout the season, but JET definitely has more fantasy value in a starting role than Lee. It'll be interesting to see how the two divvy up minutes against the Cavs.

Tue Dec 18 201223:10Jason Terry with a season-low two points
Jason Terry scored a season-low two points in a 100-89 loss to the Bulls on Tuesday.
The JET remarkable only took two shots in 26 minutes. In his last 12 games, he had not shot less than six attempts from the field. This hideous outing comes on the heels of back-to-back games with four 3-pointers, so his owners should cut him some slack here.

Sun Dec 16 201200:26Jason Terry nets 18 points in new bench role
Jason Terry had 18 points, four 3-pointers and four assists off the bench vs. the Spurs on Saturday, but the Celtics lost their second straight game to fall to 12-11.
Boston is bobbing along as a .500 team and Doc Rivers probably won't hesitate to give Avery Bradley (shoulders) heavy minutes upon his return, so enjoy JET's solid production with the understanding that Bradley could erode his value by the end of December.

Sat Dec 15 201202:44Terry scores 12 points with four treys
Jason Terry scored 12 points and hit four 3-point shots in his return to the bench on Friday against the Rockets.
Terry hit 4-of-10 shots and added three steals in his 26 minutes. He has late round value on the year and owners will probably want to see that out even with Avery Bradley nearing a return, but not at the expense of a red hot free agent.
