James has been instrumental in Dallas' march toward a playoff berth, and they are now tied with the Jazz, sitting one game behind the Lakers for the final playoff spot in the West. James has also become a useful fantasy player and the Mavericks play on Thursday and Saturday, meaning you'll be able to use him in a daily league if you need bodies for those lighter NBA days.

The Mavericks won their second straight game behind 19 points and five assists from Mike James, who knocked down 7-of-10 shots with three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Mike James got his second start in a row on Friday, scoring 12 points with one board, three assists and four 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Pistons.

James was terrific in the fourth quarter and hit three big triples to help propel Dallas to the victory. His upside is nothing more than a timeshare with Darren Collison, so he's only worth keeping an eye on in most formats. Collison wasn't too bad off the bench with 11 points and eight assists in 29 minutes, so he's still worth holding in standard leagues.

Darren Collison will move to the bench and this news comes out of the blue. Collison has been struggling and coach Rick Carlisle hasn't been bashful about bringin DC off the bench. Collison's owners shouldn't panic and he should still get plenty of minutes. Mike James is only worth a look in very deep leagues.
