Wed Apr 2 201401:23Jodie Meeks has an overdue dud on Tuesday
Jodie Meeks made just 2-of-7 from the field against the Blazers on Tuesday for four points with two boards, two assists and one turnover in 27 minutes.
It's his lowest scoring output in 2014 and just his second single-digit game this calendar year as well. Meeks has been terrific as one of the most improved players in the NBA, so his owners obviously need to give him a pass here.

Thu Mar 27 201422:55Jodie Meeks has a slightly below average game
Jodie Meeks shot 4-of-10 from the field for 10 points vs. the Bucks on Wednesday with three boards, four assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.
When taking into account Pau Gasol is out due to verigo, Meeks is easily the most reliable Laker right now. His numbers since the break have been phenomenal, averaging 17.9 points, 1.9 assists, 1.9 steals and 2.1 triples on 46.7 percent from the field and 87.5 percent from the line. He's putting up top-30 value in that span and shows no signs of slowing down.

Mon Mar 24 201400:22Sticky-fingered Jodie Meeks gets six steals
Jodie Meeks took a backseat offensively vs. Orlando, scoring 13 points with two 3-pointers in 40 minutes, but he also set a career-high with six steals.
The five-year veteran is averaging a career-high 1.4 steals per game this year, but he has 10 in the past two games alone. His sudden thievery is great news for fantasy owners fighting to make up ground in roto leagues or win a category in head-to-head playoffs, and L.A.'s upcoming four-game week should smooth out any wrinkles in Meeks' production.

Sat Mar 22 201403:47Jodie Meeks drops 21 points vs. Wizards
Jodie Meeks scored 21 points vs. the Wizards on Friday with two assists, four steals and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Over his last five, he's averaged 21.6 points, 2.2 boards, 2.4 assists, 2.2 steals and 2.6 triples while taking 15.4 shots per game, which would make him a must-start player in standard leagues. The Kentucky product might be the most reliable perimeter Laker for the rest of the season.

Jodie Meeks shot 6-of-15 from the field for 19 points with three boards, two assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.
He was the star of the show on Sunday's national-TV game with 42 and played well tonight . His career-high 39.9 percent from three has been a big part of his success, but he's been much better in the paint this season and it's resulted in a fantastic 46.3 percent from the field. Meeks is going to sustain must-start value the rest of the way even when Nick Young (knee) comes back.

Jodie Meeks hit all eight of his field goal attempts (including three treys) for 22 points and four assists over 33 minutes on Friday against the Kings.
Meeks was actually benched for a bit because Jordan Farmar was in the midst of an 8-of-10 run from beyond the arc. That should tell you everything you need to know about the track meet at Staples tonight.

Mon Feb 24 201400:34Jodie Meeks scores 19 points vs. Nets
Jodie Meeks scored 19 points vs. the Nets on Sunday with two boards, two assists, one block, two steals and two 3-pointers vs. the Nets.
He was playing close to 40 minutes per game before his ankle sprain earlier this month, but the Lakers actually have some shred of depth in their backcourt right now and that won't be necessary. Meeks is still too valuable for his 3-point range to allow spacing to Mike D'Antoni's offense, so he's a must-own player in all leagues for points, treys and steals.

That would mean three more DNPs for Meeks as the Lakers play on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday before heading into the break. His absence means more playing time for Steve Blake, Steve Nash and Kendall Marshall, but he should be ready to go for L.A.'s first post-break game on Feb. 19.

L.A. concludes their road trip with games in Cleveland on Wednesday and Philadelphia on Friday, and the earliest Meeks could return to action is Sunday's home game vs. the Bulls. His absence opens up more opportunities for guys like Nick Young, Wes Johnson, Steve Nash and Steve Blake, though at the moment it's unclear who will take his place in the starting lineup.
