He is probable and this is basically a non-update. Meeks has been one of the best shooting guards in the NBA for January based on effective field goal percentage, his 18.9 points per game and his sky-high 38.1 minutes per game. He should be in all lineups tonight.

The Lakers already ruled out a stress injury with an MRI and Meeks scored 21 points in 33 minutes on Tuesday, so he should be fine. He should be owned in all leagues until Kobe Bryant (knee) can return.

Meeks has been on fire for the Lakers, scoring more than 21 points in four of his last five games and averaging 21.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.4 3-pointers. If you picked him up off waivers 10 days ago, your team is probably rolling right now.

He did only shoot 5-of-13 from the field, but Meeks has really been stuffing the stat sheet for the short-handed Lakers. In his three previous games of 2014, Meeks averaged 21.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.3 triples in 36.0 minutes. He's worth owning in all leagues.

He should continue to keep it going until Kobe Bryant (leg) can return.

Meeks is a poor ball handler and playmaker, but the Lakers have reached true desperation levels so he'll continue to start at shooting guard and then shift over when Kendall Marshall needs a break. It should lead to continued massive minutes. In 15 December games, Meeks averaged 12.6 points, 2.1 3-pointers and 1.5 steals while playing 34.8 minutes per game. He's not going anywhere as a glue guy at the bottom of regular rosters and a value play in FanDuel lineups.

He's getting some serious run as the start with 38.8 minutes per game over his last five, adding averages of 15.6 points, 4.0 boards, 3.2 assists, 2.4 steals and 2.2 triples. Meeks should be owned in all standard leagues with that allotment of minutes and his ability to hit treys.

Meeks has been a minutes machine since Kobe Bryant (knee) went down, averaging 38.3 per game in the starting role over his last four. He should be able to contribute enough threes, steals and points to be worth owning in standard leagues.

He should continue to start and might actually gain value with Jordan Farmar coming back. Meeks gets most of his best work done as a spot-up shooter and he converts 44.5 percent of his 3-pointers in catch-and-shoot situations compared to making 26.9 percent off the dribble from that range. He should be viewed as a hold.

He attempted 16 shots and played 36 minutes on Friday, so this was a significant drop. Meeks will likely have his fair share of inconsistencies, but he could average double-digit points with close to 2.0 triples per game while Jordan Farmar (hamstring) and Steve Blake (elbow) are out of action.
