He is probable and this is basically a non-update. Meeks has been one of the best shooting guards in the NBA for January based on effective field goal percentage, his 18.9 points per game and his sky-high 38.1 minutes per game. He should be in all lineups tonight.

Mon Jan 27 201416:25Jodie Meeks misses practice, MRI negative
An MRI taken on Monday for Jodie Meeks' foot was negative and has been cleared to play against the Pacers on Tuesday.
There was some fear of Meeks suffering a stress fracture in his foot, but the Lakers got some rare good news on that front. Meeks has been the Lakers' best perimeter player over the course of the season and has become a must-own player in all fantasy formats. If he needs to miss time, Manny Harris would be an interesting pickup in deeper leagues.

He's having a major breakout and continues to get better. Meeks is logging huge minutes and has put up third-round value in fantasy leagues over the past couple weeks, so it should be interesting to see how much playing time he'll see upon Kobe Bryant's (knee) return. He's a huge part of the Lakers right now. Meeks played 37.6 minutes per game in his previous 10 games and he's consistently getting shot-attempt totals in the teens. Coach Mike D'Antoni has also been using Meeks more as an on-ball defender to hide the deficiencies of Kendall Marshall, which has helped him get up to a career-high 1.2 steals per game this season. He should be owned in all leagues until Kobe Bryant (knee) can return.

Jodie Meeks stayed hot against the Rockets on Wednesday with 21 points, three boards, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Meeks has been killing it over his last three games, averaging 21.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.3 3-pointers, and has hit 18-of-19 free throws over that stretch. It looks like he's the starting shooting guard for the Lakers until further notice and after scoring 23 and 24 points in his last two games, should be owned in most leagues by now.

He's locked in to minutes with the starting lineup right now with at least 33 in each of his last 10 games. Meeks added 2.1 triples and 2.0 triples per game over that span, so that alone makes him worthy of ownership in standard leagues. Fri Jan 3 201409:42Jodie Meeks adding backup PG duties to role
Jodie Meeks will be the Lakers' backup point guard for now.
Steve Nash, Steve Blake, Jordan Farmar and Xavier Henry are all injured. Meeks is a poor ball handler and playmaker, but the Lakers have reached true desperation levels so he'll continue to start at shooting guard and then shift over when Kendall Marshall needs a break. It should lead to continued massive minutes. In 15 December games, Meeks averaged 12.6 points, 2.1 3-pointers and 1.5 steals while playing 34.8 minutes per game. He's not going anywhere as a glue guy at the bottom of regular rosters and a value play in FanDuel lineups.

He launched 10 attempts from downtown as part of his 6-of-12 shooting line. Meeks has been a minutes machine since Kobe Bryant (knee) went down, averaging 38.3 per game in the starting role over his last four. Jodie Meeks played a team-high 40 minutes against the Suns during a 117-90 loss, scoring 18 points with five boards, four assists, three steals and two 3-pointers.
He should continue to start and might actually gain value with Jordan Farmar coming back. Meeks gets most of his best work done as a spot-up shooter and he converts 44.5 percent of his 3-pointers in catch-and-shoot situations compared to making 26.9 percent off the dribble from that range. He should be viewed as a hold.

Jodie Meeks hit just 4-of-11 shots and a 3-pointer for 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals in Saturday's loss.
Meeks continues to start for the Lakers and has scored in double figures in three straight games, knocking down five 3-pointers along the way. And as long as he's starting for the Kobe-less Lakers, he should make for a decent fantasy play, although we like the potential of Xavier Henry slightly more.

Jodie Meeks scored 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, four assists and one steal in Friday's win over the Wolves.
With Kobe Bryant out for six weeks the window is open again for Meeks to produce and as a top 100-120 value on the year (9/8 cat) he's well worth an add, and he'll probably produce a bit better than his year-long numbers suggest given how banged up the Lakers are.

Tue Dec 17 201323:04Jodie Meeks scores 13 with three 3-pointers
Jodie Meeks hit 5-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers for 13 points and two steals in Tuesday's win.
Meeks had scored just 2, 2 and 9 points (5-of-28 shooting) in each of his previous three games, but finally shot it better tonight. Inconsistency should continue to dog him, but as long as he's starting for the Lakers, he could easily build on tonight's promising line.

Mon Dec 16 201322:08Meeks goes cold in Monday's loss to Hawks
Jodie Meeks hit just 1-of-8 shots for two points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in Monday's loss to the Hawks.
Meeks is going to be up and down like this for the rest of the year, and with just 16-team value over the past two weeks owners have a gauge for what his value looks like when the peaks and valleys are ironed out. In that five game span he has averaged 11.4 points, 2.0 threes and not much else.

Jodie Meeks played just 23 minutes against the Bobcats on Saturday with two points, two boards and one steal on 1-of-4 shooting.
He attempted 16 shots and played 36 minutes on Friday, so this was a significant drop. Meeks will likely have his fair share of inconsistencies, but he could average double-digit points with close to 2.0 triples per game while Jordan Farmar (hamstring) and Steve Blake (elbow) are out of action.
