Tue Feb 4 201401:21Wolters plays 23 minutes in Monday's win
Nate Wolters logged 23 minutes in another start at shooting guard on Monday, scoring six points on 3-of-7 shooting with two rebounds and two assists.
We're not sure why Larry Drew wants to ram Wolters into the rotation when he's not playing well but it is what it is. There's no real fantasy value here and he could get knocked out of the rotation at a moment's notice.

Sat Feb 1 201419:32Nate Wolters starting again on Saturday
Nate Wolters is in the starting lineup against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
The point guard matchup of Wolters vs. Nick Calathes isn't exactly Lebron vs. Durant, but it has some interest from fantasy owners. Wolters ran the offense on Friday vs. the Magic and was somewhat productive.

Fri Jan 31 201421:24Nate Wolters starts, flirts w/ triple-double
Nate Wolters started for the eighth time this season and flirted with a triple-double vs. the Magic on Friday, scoring eight points with seven boards, nine assists and no turnovers in 41 minutes.
The minutes are almost astonishing and a somewhat bold statement. Coach Larry Drew kept Wolters out of the rotation up until Wednesday with really only garbage time minutes prior to that game with Phoenix, but he's turned back to the rookie and it's led to some better offensive numbers from his team. Wolters was effective to open the season in the passing department, but he's really struggled at scoring the ball. He can't quite finish around the rim and he's a terrible 3-point shooter, so he's only worth a look for owners in dire straits when it comes to point guards.

Fri Jan 31 201417:40Nate Wolters starting, Antetokounmpo to bench
Nate Wolters will start next to Brandon Knight, Khris Middleton, Ersan Ilyasova and Larry Sanders against the Magic on Friday.
Wolters saw some rare first-quarter minutes on Wednesday and coach Larry Drew is going to run with another different starting unit for his last-place team -- his 20th lineup of the season. The rookie started hot while Brandon Knight was hurt to start the year with an impressive assist:turnover ratio, but he's still not worth owning in almost any league.

Fri Jan 31 201412:14Nate Wolters might start for Bucks Friday
Coach Larry Drew is considering starting Nate Wolters in Friday's game against the Magic.
Drew wants to match up with Orlando's three-guard lineup of Jameer Nelson, Victor Oladipo and Arron Afflalo. Therefore, it sounds like he's leaning toward starting Brandon Knight, Wolters and Giannis Antetokounmpo -- and bring Khris Middleton off the bench. The only player that's a good bet for 32-plus minutes in this muddied situation is Knight.

Thu Jan 30 201417:28Nate Wolters admits need to improve shooting
Bucks rookie Nate Wolters admitted that he needs to improve his jump shot and shooting range "in the coming years."
He's shooting 40.1 percent from the field, which includes an abysmal 3-of-29 from downtown. The good news is that more than half of his shot attempts are from within eight feet, and he's posting a solid 3.3 assists vs. 0.9 turnovers per game. Coach Larry Drew also praised his energy and aggressiveness on offense, adding, "I see him having a solid NBA career."

Sun Jan 26 201400:21Nate Wolters gets some garbage time
Nate Wolters played 16 minutes against the Hawks on Saturday with eight points, one board, five assists, one steal and one block.
He jammed his thumb on Friday and was fine tonight. The Bucks were blown out for the umpteenth time and are last in the NBA in point differential, so there should be more garbage time on the way for Wolters.

Sat Jan 25 201402:25Wolters jams thumb in collision with Giannis
Nate Wolters jammed his thumb during Friday's game in a collision with Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Wolters logged nine minutes and had six points, one rebound and one assist in nine minutes. We'll put him on the injury report but this won't impact fantasy leagues.

Sun Dec 15 201301:13Nate Wolters plays 28 minutes in garbage time
Nate Wolters got some extra run in garbage time on Saturday with 28 minutes against the Mavericks, scoring six points with five boards, two assists, one block and two turnovers.
The Bucks played much better in the second half and Wolters seems to have earned some minutes in the rotation. He played 19 minutes in a close game on Friday and could be seeing over 20 minutes regularly. The team has been going with some two-point-guard lineups lately, but Wolters still has a long way to go to gaining value in the vast majority of leagues.

Wed Dec 11 201322:46Nate Wolters gets loose for 18 & 7 off bench
Nate Wolters played 30 minutes and had a season-high 18 points and seven assists on 7-of-15 shooting in Wednesday's blowout loss.
Larry Drew benched Brandon Knight and the starters, and Wolters had his best game of the season, although he did have 10 assists back on Nov. 2. Assuming this was a fluke after a disgusted Drew went to his reserves, Wolters should be left on waivers until we see him do it again.

Fri Nov 29 201321:48Wolters (illness) plays on Friday vs. CHA
Nate Wolters (illness) played on Friday, scoring six points on 2-of-5 shooting with two rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes.
Wolters turned some heads early in the year but has been quiet ever since, and as long as the Bucks backcourt is relatively healthy he can be ignored in most fantasy leagues.

Tue Nov 26 201315:33Nate Wolters leaves practice w/ illness
Nate Wolters left Tuesday's practice with an illness.
Presumably he has a cold or flu, and we'll list him as questionable to face the Wizards on Wednesday. With Brandon Knight starting at PG and Luke Ridnour playing backup, Wolters' presence or absence shouldn't matter much for fantasy owners.

Sun Nov 24 201300:38Nate Wolters plays nine minutes
Nate Wolters played just nine minutes against the Bobcats on Saturday and did not score.
He had just two assists and one turnover in the loss. Wolters' minutes have diminished in the past few games as Luke Ridnour seems to be getting his wind back, so it would appear the rookie's days of being fantasy relevant could be gone for now. Ridnour had two points, one rebound, three assists and one steal in 19 minutes.

Fri Nov 15 201322:11Nate Wolters plays 34 minutes in loss
Nate Wolters played a team-high 34 minutes against the Pacers on Friday and had eight points, two boards, five assists, two steals, two blocks and two turnovers.
He was shy shooting the ball tonight and had a little trouble as the ball handler in pick and rolls. Obviously, the Pacers are outstandingin pick-and-roll defense, ranking first in the NBA against the roll man, so it was a bad combo for the rookie. Wolters is still earning minutes once the team gets back to full strength, but his upside isn't too high with his sub-par 39 percent from the field.

Wed Nov 13 201322:10Nate Wolters quiet in 40 minutes
Nate Wolters played 40 minutes and hit 3-of-8 shots for nine points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss.
Both Brandon Knight and Luke Ridnour were out for the Bucks, along with several other important members of the team. As long as Wolters is manning the point unchallenged, he should be much better than this on most nights. But all bets are off when (or should we say 'if') Knight and Ridnour are healthy.

Thu Nov 7 201301:34Nate Wolters starts, but Neal steals show
Nate Wolters made his second straight start at point guard for the Bucks on Wednesday and had nine points, eight rebounds and six assists on 2-of-5 shooting in 33 minutes.
Gary Neal came off the bench and blew up for 23 points, four assists and four 3-pointers. Both guys are on the verge of taking a hit, as Brandon Knight and Luke Ridnour are due back from their injuries sooner than later. But if you had the foresight to start either player tonight, it worked out well.

Wed Nov 6 201318:44Wolters should start w/ Knight, Ridnour out
Nate Wolters will likely make another start on Wednesday now that Brandon Knight and Luke Ridnour have both been ruled out of that game due to lingering injuries.
Wolters started on Saturday and had seven points, four rebounds and 10 assists in that one, and could be a sneaky daily play again tonight. All signs point to Knight getting closer to a return from his hamstring injury, but it won't happen on Wednesday. Gary Neal should also see an expanded role for the Bucks tonight.

Sun Nov 3 201300:33Nate Wolters hands out 10 assists in start
Nate Wolters started at point guard Saturday and had seven points, four rebounds and 10 assists on 3-of-8 shooting in 36 minutes of a loss to the Raptors.
Brandon Knight was very close to playing tonight and will start at PG once he's back from his hamstring injury. But if you picked Wolters up as a one-day rental, he paid off for you.

Sat Nov 2 201319:11Nate Wolters is starting on Saturday night
Nate Wolters will start at point guard against the Raptors on Saturday.
He's been the Bucks best guard in each of the two second halves of the first two games, so he's earned the starting nod. Wolters hasn't been turning the ball over and has been running the offense at a methodical pace, a Larry Drew staple. Brandon Knight shouldn't be out too long, so Wolters is just worthy of a look in very deep leagues.

Sat Nov 2 201301:58Nate Wolters scores 14 points off the bench
Nate Wolters shot 5-of-10 for 14 points off the bench on Friday to go with two rebounds, six assists and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes.
He's looked composed and has led the team in assists in each of the first two games. Wolters was drafted in the second round in the 2013 NBA Draft and the Bucks are already seeing some early dividends. Brandon Knight (hamstring) and Luke Ridnour (back) shouldn't miss much more time, so he's not worthy of an add in almost any format.
