Fri Aug 25 202318:56Michael Conforto Placed On 10-Day Injured List
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) has been placed on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to Aug. 24. The 30-year-old exited early during Wednesday's game and will now miss time due to a left hamstring strain. At this point, it's uncertain how long Conforto is going to be sidelined. In a corresponding move, outfielder Heliot Ramos has been recalled from Triple-A Sacramento. Ramos hasn't done much with his limited time in the big leagues this season. That being said, it's hard to imagine Ramos being worth snagging off the waiver wire.

Mon Aug 14 202312:39Michael Conforto Homers In Win Over Rangers
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto hit a home run in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the visiting Texas Rangers. Conforto finished his day 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored and a walk in the winning effort. The 30-year-old left-handed slugger also homered in Saturday's contest and has been heating up at the plate lately. Since July 28, he's gone 13-for-47 (.277) with two home runs, two doubles, three RBI and seven runs scored in 15 starts for the Gigantes. In his first year in San Francisco after not playing at all in 2022 due to an injury, Conforto is slashing .242/.336/.405 with 15 home runs, 11 doubles, 54 RBI, four stolen bases and 50 runs scored in 396 trips to the plate over 102 games. He should continue playing regularly, at least against right-handed pitchers.

Tue Jul 25 202320:02Michael Conforto Resting Against A's
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the visiting Oakland Athletics. With Conforto starting on the bench, Austin Slater will start in right field and bat eighth against A's right-hander Tayler Scott. Conforto has gone hitless in seven at-bats in his last two games and hasn't gone deep since July 8. He's hitting .174 (4-for-23) with two RBI and one run scored in his last six games, so hopefully a day of rest will get him right. The 30-year-old left-handed hitter would probably benefit from a change of scenery at the trade deadline, but it remains to be seen if the Giants will be sellers or buyers. Overall, Conforto has hit .238/.328/.401 with 13 homers, 51 RBI, four steals and 43 runs in 294 at-bats in his first year in the Bay Area.

Sat Jul 15 202310:07Michael Conforto Exits Friday After Hit-By-Pitch
San Francisco Giants right fielder Michael Conforto (ribs) was removed late from Friday's 6-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 30-year-old was hit by a pitch in the rib area during the ninth inning with Brett Wisely replacing him as a pinch-runner. Conforto did not require X-rays after the contest, implying he shouldn't miss much time, if any. The former All-Star went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base before coming out of the contest. Fantasy managers should check back again closer to Saturday's game time for a Conforto status update from the Giants. He is slashing a modest .236/.328/.417 with 13 home runs, 42 RBI, two swipes, and 41 runs scored across 299 trips to the plate in 2023.

Sun Jul 2 202316:45Michael Conforto Not In The Lineup Again On Sunday
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) isn't in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the New York Mets. The 30-year-old is dealing with a hamstring issue suffered during Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. There was talk about Conforto pinch-hitting on Saturday, and although it didn't happen, it seems he's trending in a favorable direction. But for now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day, with another update expected ahead of Monday's showdown with the Seattle Mariners.

Sat Jul 1 202315:03Michael Conforto May Pinch Hit Saturday
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) isn't in the starting lineup for Sunday's meeting with the New York Mets. He's dealing with a fascia sprain and has already missed a few games. Fortunately, it appears the 30-year-old is feeling somewhat better, with Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reporting he may be available to pinch hit. However, there is still a chance Conforto will end up on the injured list, so fantasy managers should keep their fingers crossed that he continues to improve in the days ahead.

Fri Jun 30 202321:44Michael Conforto Not Expected To Play This Weekend
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) said he has a fascia strain in his left hamstring. It's being called mild, but he doesn't sound as if he thinks he will play in the weekend series on the road against the New York Mets. If Conforto isn't ready to play in the start of a new series against the Seattle Mariners at home on Monday, there's a good chance he'll need to go on the injured list for 10 days. The 30-year-old missed his second straight game on Friday and won't return until at least Monday. He'll finish up the month of June hitting a weak .203 (14-for-69) with a home run, 14 RBI and 20 strikeouts in 22 games. Overall, he's hitting just .236 (56-for-237) but with 12 home runs and 42 RBI in his first year in San Fran.

Thu Jun 29 202316:28Michael Conforto Not Playing Thursday
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Toronto Blue Jays after leaving Wednesday's game early due to left-hamstring tightness after attempting to make a catch near the outfield wall. This is certainly an injury that could send Conforto to the injured list, so fantasy managers should be prepared for the worst. In his absence on Thursday, Austin Slater is getting the nod in right field for the Giants and will hit seventh in the batting order against Blue Jays right-hander Chris Bassitt. The 30-year-old Conforto is hitting just .236 (56-for-237) on the season, but his power plays in fantasy, and he has hit 12 home runs and driven in 42 runs in 71 games.

Wed Jun 28 202321:00Michael Conforto Leaves With Hamstring Tightness
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (hamstring) was removed from Wednesday's game early against the Toronto Blue Jays due to left-hamstring tightness. The injury occurred when Conforto crashed into the outfield wall in the first inning, so he didn't even have an official at-bat in the contest before leaving. It's very possible that this injury will send the 30-year-old to the injured list, but we'll have to wait and see how he recovers in the next couple of days. Coming into the game, he was hitting .236 (56-for-237) with eight doubles, 12 home runs, 42 RBI and 39 runs scored in 70 games in his first year in the Bay Area. Austin Slater replaced Conforto in right field and would likely see added playing time if Conforto misses any time.

Wed Jun 14 202300:20Michael Conforto Collects Four Hits, Plates Three Tuesday
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto had a big game at the plate in Tuesday's 11-3 win over the Cardinals. Conforto went 4-for-6 with three singles, a double, and three RBI. The 30-year-old has had a solid first season with the Giants after not playing in 2022 and is now slashing .250/.348/.450 with 12 home runs and 36 RBI in 233 plate appearances. He has proven to be a must-start so far for fantasy managers as long as he is in the lineup.

Sun Jun 4 202314:36Michael Conforto Can’t Get Back Into Lineup On Sunday
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (heel) could not return to Sunday's lineup for the series finale with the Baltimore Orioles. The 30-year-old has now accumulated four consecutive absences from the lineup, but it's worth mentioning he was able to pinch-hit on Friday. Conforto will have a day off in between Sunday's contest and Tuesday's series opener against the Colorado Rockies to get back on the field. The former All-Star was on a tear before the setback, hitting .393 with a 1.148 OPS to go with six homers and 16 RBI across his previous 16 games started.

Wed May 31 202320:03Michael Conforto's MRI Comes Back Clean
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto's (heel) MRI exam came back clean on Wednesday. He's dealing with a left-heel bruise, and the Giants continue to say that he's day-to-day. Conforto was injured in Tuesday's contest and didn't start on Wednesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates, but his fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief now that it looks as though he'll avoid a stint on the injured list. With a well-timed off day coming on Thursday, the 30-year-old left-handed slugger could be back in action on Friday to start a three-game weekend series against the Baltimore Orioles. Conforto has gone off by hitting .433 (13-for-30) with three home runs and nine RBI in his last eight games and should be returned to all fantasy lineups in single-year leagues if he returns on Friday.

Wed May 31 202316:05Michael Conforto Going For Scans On Heel
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (heel) was limping noticeably on Wednesday morning and said he is going to get a scan done on his injured left heel. Conforto injured his heel in Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates and wasn't in the starting lineup on Wednesday. Depending on the results of his MRI exam and X-rays, the 30-year-old left-handed slugger could need to go on the injured list, so fantasy managers will want to check back for updates. Conforto has been crushing the ball of late, so his injury is terrible timing for the Giants and fantasy managers alike. He's now up to a .250 average (42-for-168) on the year with three doubles, 11 home runs, 28 RBI and two stolen bases in 49 games. We should have an update later on Wednesday or early Thursday.

Wed May 31 202309:37Michael Conforto Day-To-Day With A Heel Issue
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (heel) was removed from Tuesday's 2-1 loss against the Pittsburgh Pirates prematurely after experiencing a heel injury. After the game, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle confirmed that the 30-year-old is dealing with a bruised heel and is day-to-day. Conforto's enjoying a successful first campaign in California, slashing .250/.347/.464 with 11 homers, 32 runs, 28 RBI, and two steals over 49 games. Fantasy managers should check back in for more updates, but hopefully, he's only out a day or two.

Sun May 21 202314:15Michael Conforto Not In Sunday's Lineup
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto is absent from the lineup for Sunday's game against Jesus Luzardo and the Miami Marlins. The former first-rounder is slumping this season, hitting just .210, but has gone deep eight times with 24 runs and 19 RBI over 41 games. Bryce Johnson is in the outfield in his place and batting ninth. The 27-year-old has struggled through 17 games with a .167/.188/.267 slash line. Fantasy managers can ignore Johnson in all formats and look elsewhere for a streaming option.

Tue May 16 202316:14Michael Conforto Blasts Fourth Homer In Six Games
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI during Monday's win against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 30-year-old is starting to catch fire, hitting 8-for-21 with four round trippers and seven RBI in his last six games. More will be asked of him while fellow righty-masher Joc Pederson is on the injured list. Fantasy managers hope that Conforto can stick in the third spot of San Francisco's lineup since he's slashing .308/.379/.769 in 26 at-bats from there this year. The former all-star also owns a sturdy 51.2% hard-hit rate overall. He has a tough draw, though, on Tuesday versus Zack Wheeler, who Conforto is slugging just .300 against in 20 career at-bats while opposing his former New York Mets teammate.

Thu Apr 20 202307:50Michael Conforto Comes Off Bench, Blasts Two-Run Homer
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (calf) went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Miami Marlins. After missing the last two games due to calf tightness, he pinch-hit for Darin Ruf in the eighth inning. The 30-year-old blasted a two-run shot off Miami Marlins pitcher David Smeltzer to give the Giants a 3-1 lead. He filled in as the team's designated hitter, and it's still being determined when he will return to right field to play defense. Conforto is slashing .233/.377/.512 with four homers, eight RBI, 10 runs, and a stolen base over 14 games in 2023. Fantasy managers should check back Thursday to see if Conforto returns to the lineup before starting him in their leagues.

Mon Apr 17 202317:30Michael Conforto Continues To Sit Out
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (calf) remains out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Miami Marlins. The organization was hopeful that Conforto would return here. Sadly, he'll miss his third game in a row due to left calf tightness. The Giants haven't placed Conforto on the injured list yet, so hopefully it's still only a minor issue. The left-handed slugger was able to pinch-hit over the weekend, so he must be doing a little better. Hopefully, he'll be back in the lineup within the next few days.

Sun Apr 16 202312:12Giants Hope Michael Conforto Will Return Monday
San Francisco Giants outfielder Michael Conforto (calf) remains out of the starting lineup on Sunday against the Detroit Tigers and wasn't able to run on Saturday, but manager Gabe Kapler said that the team is hopeful he will return to the starting lineup on Monday against the Miami Marlins. The 30-year-old left-handed hitter will miss his third straight game while dealing with tightness in his left calf, but fantasy managers should be getting him back to begin next week. With Conforto out again Sunday, Heliot Ramos is starting in right field and batting eighth against Tigers left-hander Matthew Boyd. Conforto is off to a bit of a slow start in his first year with the Giants, going 9-for-41 (.220) with three home runs, six RBI, one stolen base and nine runs scored in 13 games played.
