Wed Feb 4 2015 | 17:41 | Feliciano agreed to minor league deal with Cubs on Wednesday |
Feliciano agreed to a minor league deal with the Cubs on Wednesday, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports. |
Feliciano made it back to the majors in 2013 after should surgery held him out of the big leagues in 2011 and 2012, but he was unable to get back there last year as he spent all of 2014 at the Triple-A level in the Cardinals organization. The 38-year-old struggled there as he posted a 5.57 ERA in 22 appearances, so while he'll get a shot to get back to the majors with the Cubs, he'll probably begin the season back down at Triple-A. |
