Shaun Marcum's agent, Rex Gary, told MLB Trade Rumors that his client is doing well in his recovery from thoracic outlet syndrome surgery and expects to be ready for spring training. |
Marcum required season-ending surgery in July, but he's expected to be on his normal offseason throwing program. After posting a 5.29 ERA and 60/21 K/BB ratio over 78 1/3 inning with the Mets this season, he may have to accept an incentive-laden deal. He turns 32 in December. |
