Moore had been 0-for-12 at the plate, with the Mariners going 0-4 in his starts. Moore did get into the win column tonight, though. Seattle is 3-2 when Rob Johnson plays. | ||||||

After a bunt off the bat of Cliff Pennington bounced off Kanekoa Texeira's glove and headed towards foul territory, Moore scooped it up with his mask, rather than his glove, allowing both Pennington and the runner on first to advance an extra base. The runners came around to score on Daric Barton's hit. With Moore off to an 0-for-7 start, Rob Johnson might be in line for additional playing time over the next few weeks. | ||||||

Rob Johnson homered and walked twice against the Athletics on Monday, Moore will get a shot against left-hander Dallas Braden. The 25-year-old was 5-for-23 (.217) with one home run and two RBI in his first taste of the bigs last season and boasts a .301/.369/.483 batting line in the minor leagues. We're more excited about Moore for fantasy purposes, but Johnson figures to get most of the playing time behind the dish, at least initially. | ||||||
