Rangers recalled C Matt Treanor from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Treanor failed to make the team out of spring training, but he made a wise decision to stay in the organization. The 34-year-old backstop logged just 13 at-bats in the majors last season with the Tigers and has a .232/.318/.311 career batting line. He'll be the primary backup for Taylor Teagarden. He obviously doesn't come with any fantasy value.
