It wouldn't be surprising to see a lot of veterans who are banged up get practices off here and there as the season winds down. Delfino remains a solid asset from beyond the arc and is worth a look in most formats.

The sore foot epidemic is spreading around the NBA, and that's not really a surprise considering where we are in the regular season. Expect to see more absences like this pop up around the league with the regular season winding down, but we expect Delfino will be active on Wednesday since his absence was deemed precautionary.

Neither is the Rockets' weekly games-played schedule going forward, which is a dreadful 3-3-3-3-4-3-2 to finish out the season. He looked like a much better fantasy prospect when he was starting at power forward, but the 31 minutes tonight were encouraging.

Newly acquired Thomas Robinson will be ready for the next one, but it's possible that Delfino could continue to start at power forward until further notice. While T-Rob makes for an intriguing pickup right now, Delfino looks like a must-own player, even though he's playing way out of position.

With Thomas Robinson not yet available after the trade, the Rockets will use a small, offensive-minded lineup, and Delfino will be a beneficiary. He's averaging 25.5 minutes per game as a reserve, so we feel confident projecting at least 30 minutes for him on Friday.

He took a whopping 10 attempts from beyond the arc and his distinction as Houston's trigger man will likely hold up for the rest of the season. Delfino's owners shouldn't be expecting him to play 42 minutes, but the attempts should be coming in bunches and he's worth owning in all leagues that count 3-pointers.

Carlos Delfino started for James Harden, who was out with a sprained ankle, but hit just 1-of-6 shots (a 3-pointer) for three points, one rebound, two assists and two steals in 23 minutes.

Delfino was playing well until an elbow injury stopped his run, and he's simply not feeling it right now. He could become relevant again in the near future, but isn't worth using in fantasy leagues right now. Especially with Chandler Parsons on fire, and Harden due back just after the All-Star break.

His 29 minutes were his most since January 23 and he hasn't been bashful with his nine 3-point attempts in Sunday's game. Delfino should keep firing away from deep and he's worth owning by any owner that needs 3-pointers.

That's a bit vague but everything that's been reported has suggested that he will play. Owners may want to shy away from their regular usage of Delfino tonight, and we'll be watching to see if he settles back into his normal range of productivity.
