Sat Feb 2 201308:35Ronnie Price diagnosed w/ right ankle sprain
Ronnie Price was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain and left the arena walking "gingerly" on Friday.
It would be surprising to see him play on Saturday considering he's dealt with foot issues previously this season. Without him, Nolan Smith could actually see some meaningful minutes behind Damian Lillard.

Fri Feb 1 201323:16Ronnie Price injures right foot Friday
Ronnie Price injured his right foot in the fourth quarter of Friday's game against the Jazz.
He's been dealing with foot issues for most of the season and the Blazers are probably going to allow him to rest and heal. Price has very little value as Damian Lillard's backup.

Sun Nov 18 201223:33Ronnie Price sparks Blazers bench on Sunday
Ronnie Price scored 10 points in Sunday's win over the Bulls, while handing out five assists in 20 minutes.
This was Price's first double-digit scoring game of the season, and his previous season-high for assists was two. That should scare away owners in all but the deepest fantasy leagues.

Sat Nov 3 201218:41Ronnie Price will make debut on Saturday
Ronnie Price (ankle) will make his season debut on Saturday.
Price is going to split the backup duties with Nolan Smith and is not worth consideration in anything but an extremely deep league. Damian Lillard can do no wrong and should play a ton of minutes.

Fri Nov 2 201213:31Ronnie Price will not play on Friday vs. OKC
Ronnie Price (ankle) will not play in Friday's game against the Thunder.
This marks two straight missed games for Price, but he shouldn't be out for too long to begin the year. Damian Lillard will see a ton of action with Nolan Smith acting as his backup.

Mon Oct 29 201218:20Ronnie Price (ankle) returns to POR practice
Ronnie Price (ankle) went through non-contact portions of Monday's practice, but he remains questionable for Portland's season opener.
This is the most activity Price has had since getting injured, and his status vs. the Lakers depends upon how his ankle responds to Monday's workout.

Fri Oct 26 201217:11Price (ankle) does not practice on Friday
No. 3 PG Ronnie Price (ankle) did not practice on Friday and is still questionable for the season opener.
Price is taking on a mentoring role with Damian Lillard, but can also step in if backup PG Nolan Smith falters at any point. Either way, the shallow Blazers can use all of the experienced bodies that they can find, so they'll welcome Price back with open arms when he is healthy.

Mon Oct 22 201200:49Ronnie Price hoping to be ready for opener
Blazers reserve guard Ronnie Price (ankle) hopes to return for Blazers season opener against the Lakers.
"That's the goal. Got 10 days to get there," he said on Sunday. With Damian Lillard and Wesley Matthews expected to see most of the minutes at the guard spots in Portland, we're not expecting much out of Price this season.

Wed Oct 17 201214:36Ronnie Price (ankle) targeting opening night
Ronnie Price (sprained right ankle) hopes to return to action during the preseason.
There are no guarantees, but it sounds like Price could be ready for opening night vs. the Lakers on Oct. 31. He'll serve as the Blazers' primary backup PG, after averaging 3.6 points, 1.9 assists and 0.9 steals in a similar role with Phoenix last year.

Sun Oct 14 201216:38Ronnie Price sprains ankle, iffy for opener
Ronnie Price sprained his right ankle on Sunday, and it's severe enough to threaten his availability for opening night.
Price left the arena on crutches, forcing Terry Stotts to shuffle his rotations -- Damian Lillard and Nolan Smith will do the heavy lifting at PG, and rookie Will Barton may also get minutes as a backup PG.

Sat Oct 13 201201:09Price helped from floor with ankle injury
Ronnie Price had to be helped from the floor because of a right ankle injury suffered during Friday's exhibition game against the Suns.
X-rays taken were negative. Price was in a position battle with Nolan Smith, but chances are he was destined for the No. 3 PG role and situations in which coach Terry Stotts would rather have a vet on the floor. Regardless, he had no fantasy value going into tonight and the ankle injury isn't helping matters, obviously.

Wed Sep 26 201209:09Stotts considering Price-Lillard backcourt
Coach Terry Stotts is considering using Ronnie Price alongside Damian Lillard in certain lineups.
Price was signed to be the third-string PG in Portland, but the coach is looking to possibly emulate the Dallas backcourt of Jason Terry and J.J. Barea while Stotts was an assistant with the Mavericks. Regardless, it's really difficult to envision Price emerging with any consistent fantasy value.

Wed Jul 18 201223:35Blazers officially ink Ronnie Price
Trail Blazers officially sign PG Ronnie Price.
Price should end up being a third-stringer behind rookie starter Damian Lillard and backup Nolan Smith, who escaped serious injury on Tuesday night. Price simply looks like a mentor at this point, but with a rookie and inexperienced player in front of him, could end up making some noise before it's all said and done.

Wed Jul 18 201217:35Blazers to sign G Ronnie Price on Wednesday
Joe Freeman of The Oregonian is reporting that unrestricted free agent G Ronnie Price will sign with the Blazers on Wednesday.
There are no details just yet on the length of the contract, but GM Neil Olshey has said it will be for the league minimum. Price will back up both guard positions in Portland for next season, but it will be a long shot for him to emerge with any fantasy value.

Sun Jun 24 201215:42Suns ready to move on from Ronnie Price?
An article on FOX Sports Arizona states that unrestricted FA Ronnie Price "will be headed elsewhere as a free agent."
The article has no byline but sounds informed enough to merit a mention. Of course, nothing can be certain until Steve Nash chooses where he'll sign -- if he leaves Phoenix, the Suns will only have Sebastian Telfair under contract at PG. The Suns also have the option to match any offer for restricted FA Aaron Brooks.

Wed Feb 15 201200:22Ronnie Price scores 10 in start
Ronnie Price started at point guard for a resting Steve Nash and had 10 points, six assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 2-of-11 shooting.
Price has no fantasy value as long as Nash is healthy, and he is, sitting this one out just as precautionary rest.
