Ellis scored a team-high 23 points Monday in a win over the Timberwolves. He added two assists and two steals.

The points are nice but Ellis needed a high number of shots to reach the total. He was largely inefficient, connecting on 7-of-21 shots and just 6-of-11 free-throws.

Ellis had 25 points (11-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with 13 assists in the win over Orlando on Saturday. He played 37 minutes.

Rajon Rondo suffered a head injury early in the first quarter, so Ellis took over offensive facilitation duties. He had his third double-digit of the season, but could be in for more dimes if Rondo's injury proves serious.

Ellis scored 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-6 FT) on Friday in a win over Miami. He added seven assists and two steals.

Ellis has been on a scoring tear recently despite the somewhat quiet night Friday. In Dallas' last five games Ellis is averaging 23.4 points on 52.7 shooting.

Ellis had 33 points (14-23 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 39 minutes.

Ellis can light it up on any given night. He's scored 30 or more points eight times this season, including two of his last three games. If he is on your team, he should be in your lineup.

Ellis played 33 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Grizzlies, finishing with 19 points (8-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and two steals.

Ellis continues to score at a high rate, combining for 55 points over his last two games, but he also hasn't produced very much of anything else lately, as it was his second game in a row with less than three assists. Ellis has been recording steals at a consistent rate though, recording at least one in each of his last nine games.

Ellis scored 36 points (16-27 FG, 4-9 3Pt), backed up by five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 35 minutes on Sunday.

Ellis exploded on Sunday, although it wasn't enough to get his team the win on Sunday. His field goal percentage has taken a dip this month, which may have to do with playing alongside Rondo. Still, Ellis was playing well enough to expect him to snap out of this and get back to his previous form.

Ellis scored seven points Wednesday in a win over Minnesota. He finished 3-of-12 from the field, including 0-of-3 from behind the arc.

Ellis played 30 minutes but sat for a majority of the fourth quarter after Dallas built a sizable lead. He will get a chance to bounce back Friday against the Bulls.

Ellis tallied 25 points (9-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-7 FT), seven assists, two rebounds, and one steal in 40 minutes during Monday's victory at Memphis.

After a pair of subpar shooting performances to conclude last week -- he hit just 7-for-26 from the floor in a combined 55 minutes -- Ellis was sitting at 43 percent shooting for the month of January entering Monday's game. He's now shot 50 percent or better only three times in nine games this month, which has predictably hindered his scoring output. However, he's still sitting at 20.3 points per game, marking his highest scoring average since the lockout-shortened 2011-12 campaign.

Ellis scored 14 points in a win over the Nuggets on Friday. He finished 6-of-15 from the field and chipped in four assists and a steal.

Ellis looked better than he did on Wednesday when he finished 1-of-11 from the field against this same Denver team. The Mavs will now travel to Memphis to face the Grizzles on a MLK Day matinaee.

Ellis had a horrific shooting night Wednesday against the Nuggets, going just 1-for-11 from the field for five points. He added four rebounds and one steal in 22 minutes of action.

This is probably one of the worst games Ellis has played this season, and the absence of Rajon Rondo (Achilles) is likely to blame for it. Ellis had been playing fairly well until this point, and owners can only hope he bounces back for the next game.

Ellis led Dallas in scoring Tuesday, finishing with 28 points (11-23 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT) in a win over the Kings. He added 10 assists and four steals.

Ellis collected his second double-double of the season in 40 minutes of action. Dallas faces Denver Wednesday on the second night of the back-to-back.

Ellis continues to lead Dallas in scoring and is averaging 20.6 points per game for the season.

Ellis scored 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting Sunday in a win over the Cavaliers. He added two assists and one steal.

Ellis led a balanced Dallas attack that saw six players score in double-figures. The team returns to the court Monday against Brooklyn.

Ellis scored 22 points (8-17 FG, 2-3 3P, 4-4 FT) in a win over the Celtics on Friday. He added five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Ellis and Rajon Rondo combined to score 51 points and remain a potent offensive duo. Despite concerns about their ability to share the floor together, Ellis is averaging 20.8 points since Rondo's arrival.

Ellis (ankle) started and played 28 minutes in a win over the Wizards. He finished with 20 points and four steals despite a sore ankle.

Ellis turned his left ankle over the weekend but insisted he wouldn't miss any time. He was right and managed to play a team-high 28 minutes in the win.

Ellis (ankle) is not expected to miss any time, according to coach Rick Carlisle, Mavs.com's Earl Sneed reports.

He left Sunday's game with a left ankle injury, but was cleared to return and Carlisle simply opted to keep him out as a precaution. Ellis is well known as someone who does not miss time due to injury, so owners can feel secure in the fact that he will play Tuesday.

Ellis (ankle) had to leave Sunday's game late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury, but claims he'll play in the Mavericks next game, Mav's insider Earl K. Sneed reports. In a postgame interview Ellis said, "I'm not missing no games. I'll go home and take care of what I need to take care of."

Ellis wasn't able to finish the game against a tough opponent, which is never a good sign. While we'd like to take his word for it, Ellis should still be considered questionable for the Mavericks' next game on Tuesday against the Washington Wizards. We'll have to wait and see if he practices on Monday, but should most likely be updated on the severity of his ankle injury within the next day.

Ellis scored 18 points (6-20 FG, 1-6 3P, 5-5 FT) Sunday in a win over the Thunder. However he was unable to finish the game after turning his left ankle late in the fourth quarter.

Dallas is already short-handed following the trade for Rajon Rondo and few sudden injuries. If Ellis is limited in any fashion, JJ Barea, Devin Harris, and Raymond Felton could see a bump in minutes.

Ellis (illness) started Friday's win over the Lakers, scoring 15 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-5 FT) and picking up seven assists and three steals in 34 minutes.

Ellis's production clearly hasn't suffered following the addition of Rajon Rondo. In his past four starts, Ellis has scored a combined 86 points and he's now had six and seven assists, respectively, in his past two games.
