Ellis told the media after the game that he has dealt with several injuries throughout the season and that he finally feels healthy. It's a bit convenient that he'd say he's fully healthy after posting one of his best games of the season, but the sentiment is easy to understand. There's not much to take from the big performance other than to acknowledge that anyone who uses Ellis in a shallow league should still be putting him in their active roster.

Ellis shot an abysmal 4-for-22 Sunday in a loss to the Suns. He played in 37 minutes and finished the game with 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Ellis has still scored in double figures in seven straight games, but hasn't been incredibly effective doing it. In Mach, he's shooting just 38.2 percent from the floor, including 21.9 percent from three.

Ellis scored 12 points (3-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT) in a loss to Memphis on Friday. He added two assists and one steal.

Ellis had a quiet night Friday in route to his worst shooting display in Dallas' last five outings. He will look to bounce back Sunday against the Suns. Ellis has torched Phoenix this season, averaging 24.0 points on 48.7% shooting in their two previous meetings.

He's still finding ways to contribute, but his fantasy owners have to hope he finds his way out of this shooting slump soon.

This was the first time Ellis broke 30 in a game since Jan. 28, and was a much-needed performance. In his three previous games, he was 0-for-8 from three and had shot 7-for-34 from the field. Ellis now has 12 or more points in eight of his past nine games.

Ellis' shooting slumped continued Friday as he scored six points on 2-of-14 shooting. He finished with two assists and four steals in the loss to Golden State.

Ellis has shot just 33 percent from the field in Dallas' last five outings and is averaging just 13.8 points per game.

Ellis scored 12 points Thursday on 5-of-20 shooting. He added five assists and three steals in the loss to Portland.

Ellis has struggled since the All-Star break, averaging 15.6 points on 38 percent shooting. He will look to get back on track Friday when he faces off against his former team the Warriors.

He appears to be just about recovered from his mid-February hip injury, and Ellis is averaging 18.8 points, 3.2 assists and 1.4 steals over his last five games.

Ellis is now averaging 19.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists and two steals on the season.

Ellis scored 23 points on 9-of-21 shooting Sunday. He added four assists and three rebounds in the win over Charlotte.

Ellis appears to be rounding back into form after nursing a hip strain. He played a team-high 37 minutes, suggesting the team isn't overly concerned about the injury.

Ellis scored 13 points on 5-of-13 shooting Friday. He added four assists and two steals in the win over the Rockets.

Ellis has struggled to score since suffering a left hip injury but continues to provide energy on the defensive end, collecting 14 steals in his last three outings.

Ellis' seven steals tied a career-high. His scoring was well below his season average, but the fact that he was able to play 37 minutes in his 218th straight game is encouraging. The All-Star break comes at the right time for Ellis as he'll be able to rest his hip.

Ellis (hip) is listed as a starter for Wednesday's game against the Jazz, the Mavericks' official site reports.

Ellis injured his left hip during Monday's game against the Clippers, resulting in just four minutes of court time. While he was questionable heading into Wednesday, he took part in the morning walkthrough and will take his typical spot at two-guard in the starting lineup.

Ellis only managed to spend four minutes on the court Monday before exiting the game with an injury to his left hip. The exact severity of the injury is still unknown, but Ellis will get an extended break as the Mavericks won't play again until after the All-Star break against the Thunder on Feb. 19. In his absence, Devin Harris and Raymond Felton will likely see extra time on the court.

Ellis left Monday's game against the Clippers with a left hip injury and is doubtful to return, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Ellis left the game with just four minutes under his belt. With his return to the court unlikely, he should be considered day-to-day until further news is released by the Mavericks.

Ellis was been scoring a ton lately, including a 33-point outburst on Jan. 28, and a 36-point game on the 25th. He isn't always the most efficient scorer, but for owners looking to bolster their lineup and pick up some scoring, it'd be worth going out and trading for Ellis.

Ellis struggled for the second straight game and has now shot 14-of-40 from the field in Dallas' last two outings combined. He will get a chance to rebound Thursday against the Kings.
