Mayo (hamstring) will come off the bench Saturday at Utah, the Milwaukee Journal-Constitution reports.

Mayo received a day of rest Wednesday, but Friday's absence was blamed on a right hamstring injury. However, he'll make his return Saturday. In three appearances since the break, he's averaged 12.3 points (on 40 percent shooting), three rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 three-pointers, and 0.7 steals in 29 minutes.

Mayo (hamstring) will rest his right hamstring and sit out of Friday's game against the Lakers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Mayo was also rested for Wednesday's game against the Sixers, as he nurses a sore right hamstring. While he remains out of the lineup Friday, Jerryd Bayless should see more minutes at shooting guard behind starter Khris Middleton. At the moment, it's unclear if Mayo will be ready for Saturday's subsequent contest in Utah.

Mayo (rest) will be held out of Wednesday's game against the 76ers.

Mayo was battling a nagging hamstring issue over the last two games, so the team will give him the night off to rest with a back-to-back set looming Friday and Saturday. Mayo has struggled to find a rhythm in February, shooting 40 percent on the month and failing to make at least half of his shots in each of his last seven games.

Mayo (hamstring) played through his injury Sunday to put up 15 points, one rebound, and two three-pointers in 28 minutes off the bench.

Mayo tweaked the hamstring in Friday's game agains the Nuggets, and there was never much doubt that he'd play Sunday, so if you're rostering Mayo in deeper leagues, continue to roll him out there as usual.

Before leaving the court, Mayo put up seven points (3-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one rebound, and one steal in 11 minutes. Expect him to play his typical 24 minutes per game during the Bucks' next tilt Wednesday versus the Lakers.

Mayo has hit a nice hot streak off the Bucks' bench. In his last five games, he has averaged 15.8 points on 57.4 percent from the field with 2.2 3-pointers. Mayo has scored at least 12 points in his last seven games.

Mayo scored 22 points (8-14 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and collected one rebound in 24 minutes off the bench Thursday.

Mayo has turned up the juice recently, scoring double-digit points in each of his last four games while playing at least 24 minutes each contest. Deep league (14-teams or larger) could take a flier on Mayo. While it's unlikely to be sustained, for the time being, Mayo is an interesting add in deeper leagues. Just take note of the fact that it's a different Bucks bench player stepping up each week, and Mayo might just be the most desireable character on the carousel right now.

Mayo (Illness) came off the bench Tuesday and had four points and three assists in 18 minutes against the Suns.

Mayo's status for Tuesday was up in the air after missing the team's shootaround but managed to play. His 18 minutes on the floor was slightly less than his usual 24.3 minutes, but he should get back to that mark once he's fully healthy again.

He should slot into his typical role of instant offense off the bench. Mayo has scored in double figures in five of his last six games, although he struggles to offer much production in the non-scoring categories.

Mayo has been playing increased minutes since Jabari Parker went down with injury and has been putting up useful counting stats as well. Over the past five games he has averaged 11.6 points, 1.8 three-pointers, 3.2 assists, and 3.6 rebounds. However, he is shooting 30.1% from the field during that span. If your team can stomach the field goal percentage, and needs additional scoring on the back end of your bench he's available in most leagues.

Mayo moved to the bench against the Hawks Friday. He scored 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and added five rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes.

The move to the bench did not appear to cost Mayo any court time, and Mayo was productive with the minutes he played. But since the Bucks completely blew out the Hawks, it remains possible that Mayo would have seen less action if the game were closer. If the move to the bench becomes permanent, then deep league managers need to pay careful attention to Mayo's workload over the coming days.

Mayo will come off the bench Friday against the Hawks.

Head coach Jason Kidd reportedly wants to see Mayo play with the second unit again. Though it's unclear if the demotion to the bench will be permanent, his recent struggles are likely the cause of the move. Kendall Marshall will receive the start in the backcourt alongside Brandon Knight on Friday.

Mayo scored 19 points (7-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and landed two rebounds with one assist and a steal in 23 minutes of action on Thursday against the Kings.

Over his last four games Mayo has played as much as 36 minutes and as little as 11 minutes. This is not something you want when building a fantasy team. Predictably and reliably are something good fantasy teams exploit - this is a case of neither.

Mayo scored 12 points (5-14 FG, 2-5 3PT), and added three rebounds and three assists on Sunday.

Mayo was atrocious from the field, having taken the most shots and missing the most shots out of the whole team. Be on the lookout to see if Coach Kidd permanently moves him to the bench sometime during the month of December, and act accordingly.

Mayo had his second consecutive poor shooting night in just his third start this season Friday, shooting 4-for-11 in 27 minutes, including going 0-for-5 from beyond the arc.

None of the Bucks starters Friday scored in the double digits in a win over the Pistons, but Mayo struggled with his shot once again after going 3-for-11 Wednesday against the Timberwolves. Mayo worked his way into the starting lineup, but if he continues to struggle from the floor he could see the role taken away from him again.
