Victor Claver (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Nets.
Claver was called a game-time decision Tuesday after going through his first practice since suffering the injury March 8. Barring a serious injury to LaMarcus Aldridge, Claver doesn't have a ton of fantasy value even when healthy.

Victor Claver (ankle) is not expected to travel with the Blazers on their upcoming five-game road trip.

Victor Claver (ankle) won't play Sunday against the Pistons.
Claver has been sidelined since spraining the ankle Feb. 8. Regardless of his health, Claver doesn't have enough fantasy value to affect most formats.

Wed Mar 13 201316:41Victor Claver, Sasha Pavlovic miss practice
Victor Claver (ankle) and Sasha Pavlovic (leg) both missed practice Wednesday.
Claver hasn't played since spraining his ankle Friday while Pavlovic has been on the shelf since Feb. 22. We're not all that surprised that both sat out Wednesday, but it doesn't bode well for their chances to play Thursday against the Knicks. Even if healthy, neither is much of a fantasy option in most formats.

Tue Mar 12 201314:22Claver (ankle) will not play on Tuesday
Victor Claver (ankle) will not play on Tuesday against the Grizzlies, as expected.
Claver is near the top of the garbage heap when talking about Blazers second-stringers, but the only reserve in Portland worth taking a chance on is Eric Maynor, who enjoys a five-game week next week.

Tue Mar 12 201309:25Victor Claver officially doubtful on Tuesday
Victor Claver (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.
This jibes with Claver's previous assessment when he said he didn't expect to play on Tuesday. Jared Jeffries or Luke Babbitt could pick up a few extra minutes, but neither is a fantasy asset.

Mon Mar 11 201308:25Victor Claver (ankle) feeling 'much better'
Victor Claver said that his sprained ankle is feeling "much better," but he's not expected to play on Tuesday.
Claver was so swollen and sore when it first happened that he couldn't walk, but he's now able to walk despite there still being some swelling in his ankle. The earliest Claver could return looks to be after Tuesday's game, but even he is uncertain of his return date. "I don't know," he said. The Blazers are listing him as day-to-day.

Sun Mar 10 201313:31Victor Claver (ankle) ruled out on Sunday
Victor Claver (ankle) will not play in Sunday's game vs. the Hornets.
Claver hurt himself on Friday and said afterward that his ankle was "really swollen," so it's not surprising to see him miss a few days. He has been logging minutes as a backup PF lately, though he remains a non-factor in fantasy leagues.

Sat Mar 9 201302:49Claver says ankle is 'really swollen'
Victor Claver tweeted after the game that his injured left ankle was "really swollen."
Claver left Friday's game and did not return, and added he was "doing his best to get better soon." With Meyers Leonard also going down, the Blazers' Eric Maynor and anybody else that shows up with a pulse will have more than ample opportunity to at least make waves.

Victor Claver turned his left ankle in the first half of Friday's game against the Spurs.
The Blazers are turning ankles all over the place and with Meyers Leonard also hurting his right ankle, Jared Jeffries will likely have to play bench power forward minutes.

Sun Feb 24 201323:49Victor Claver grabs 10 boards vs. Boston
Victor Claver grabbed 10 boards in 20 minutes against the Celtics on Sunday, adding four points, two steals and one block.
Terry Stotts said that he will play Claver more at the four to stretch the defense and he kept true to his word. Although, he won't be a big enough part of the offense to be owned in most leagues.

Sat Feb 23 201317:47Victor Claver could play some stretch four
Terry Stotts said that he could see more time as a stretch four for the Blazers.
It's no secret that the Blazers have the worst bench in the NBA and rank dead last in points per game as a unit. Claver is playing just 13.5 minutes per game this year, so this news isn't likely to put him over the 20-minute mark while the Blazers are healthy. He could be the best option on the bench, but that isn't saying much.

Wed Feb 20 201301:27Victor Claver quiet in start for Blazers
Victor Claver started for Wesley Matthews (ankle) on Tuesday but had just four points in 21 minutes.
As usual, no one on the Blazers' bench is worth fantasy consideration, even when they're randomly starting for an injured teammate.

Sun Feb 3 201301:00Claver scores three points in fill-in start
Victor Claver scored three points in 18 minutes on Saturday, starting at SG in place of Wesley Matthews (ankle).
Claver has six DNPs and just three points in Portland's previous 10 games and we didn't expect much more than this from him. Claver will likely start again if Matthews is forced to miss Monday's game, but Matthews was in uniform and hopeful to play tonight.

The Trail Blazers have recalled Victor Claver from their D-League affiliate, the Idaho Stampede.
He averaged 9.0 points on just 30 percent shooting in four games with the Stampede, and even with Wesley Matthews (hip) hurting Claver isn't a viable fantasy option.
