However, there remains a chance that Mejia simply plays through the ailment.

He did allow a two-out single to Chris Owings, but no harm was done. He has pitched well since being shifted to the bullpen, as he hasn't allowed an earned run in 7 1/3 innings while posting a 8/1 K/BB ratio. He should be owned and started in all mixed league formats at this point.
