Los Angeles Dodgers outfield prospect James Outman had himself a game on Friday evening for Triple-A Oklahoma City. Outman went 5-for-5 with six RBI and hit for the cycle in an unforgettable evening for the 25-year-old. The outfielder has put together his best season as a professional and has jumped from Double-A to Triple-A with a cup of coffee with the Dodgers during the 2022 campaign. Between Double-A and Triple-A this season, Outman has hit .286 with 23 homers, 84 RBI and 12 stolen bases. Despite his success in the minors, he is blocked by multiple All-Stars at the big-league level and also competing with the likes of outfield prospects Andy Pages and Jose Ramos for future big-league at-bats. All that being said, Outman can be monitored in dynasty leagues, but is not a must-roster.

The rookie went 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run, a double, three RBI, and two runs scored. This impressive performance surely will turn some heads, but there's no guarantee of playing time going forward. Fantasy managers needn't look to Outman on the wire, as the strong first day is a better story than any indication of future results.
