You're operating short. You try not to use him unless it's a dire emergency because if you have to DL him, you lose the back-date days. We'll probably make a decision in the next day or so or sooner. It depends on how he responds to treatment." Rolen received a cortisone shot in his right hamstring on Monday, so it could be a couple more days before he is ready to return.

"His kids are real sick and so is he, so we've put him in quarantine," Baker told the media. "We don't want that stuff spreading through our clubhouse. He'll be available only in emergency situations." Rolen should be ready for Sunday's finale.
