Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said Saturday that the team plans to use Brett Lawrie at second base against right-handed pitchers in order to keep Juan Francisco's bat in the lineup.
While Lawrie has voiced his displeasure with the idea of moving to second base, he's willing to do whatever is in the best interest of the team. Gaining second base eligibility will certainly be a nice boost to his fantasy value.

Brett Lawrie smacked a solo homer and also doubled in a run in Sunday's win over the Red Sox.

It's been quite an interesting month for Lawrie, as he's hitting just .179/.233/.379 but has six home runs and 20 RBI. All told, fantasy owners will probably take it, but they'd surely like to see some more consistency.
