Ryan Sweeney scored three times Thursday after doubling and walking twice against the Angels.
Sweeney has just one homer and 16 walks in 219 at-bats, but since he's hitting .320, instead of his usual .290, he's been a pretty valuable player to this point.

All four hits were singles, just as 80 percent of his hits have been this season. That's fine when he's batting .317, as he is now. Still, one wonders if the 25-year-old is ever going to develop the power one should expect from an everyday right fielder.

A nice time for Sweeney to bust out. He entered the night with a .284/.346/.347 line this season, but the A's have kept him entrenched in the third spot in the order anyway. That's given him most of his fantasy value, since he's scored 15 runs and driven in 16 in 26 games.
