Livingston played a little over 16 minutes in the Warriors' victory over the Trail Blazers, adding 3 turnovers and 2 assists during his time on the court.
While this stat line is not indicative of Livingston's overall value, it certainly does not help his case. It seems as though he's having trouble adjusting to his new role on the team. Stay tuned to see if Livingston can develop some consistency over the next few games before taking a look at him.
Sun Nov 2 201410:06Livingston played 11 minutes in Saturday night's win over Lakers
Livingston played 11 minutes in Saturday night's win over the Lakers. After recovering from offseason toe surgery, Livingston had a four-minute cameo on the season opener Wednesday.
Livingston's not quite ready for a larger role in the Warriors' rotation, but he's expected to have one when completely healthy. He finished with two points, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot.

Livingston can play in five-minute stretches at this point in the season, according to coach Steve Kerr, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports.
Kerr said Livingston has picked up the offense well from watching on the sideline, and he should play more than the four minutes he saw Wednesday going forward. Look for Livingston to see between 24-30 mpg when he's at 100 percent.

Livingston (toe) played four minutes in Wednesday night's season-opening 95-77 win over the Kings.
Livingston spent all of training camp and the preseason recovering from offseason toe surgery and was listed as doubtful to play Wednesday, but got some garbage-time action. We'll see how he responds to the limited run Wednesday as the Warriors prepare for the next game Saturday night at home against the Lakers.

Livingston (toe) is expected to make his 2014-15 debut Saturday against the Lakers, Mark J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Livingston's toe injury kept him out of Wednesday's season opener, but it isn't expected to keep him on the shelf beyond the weekend slate of games. He'll likely serve as the backup to Stephen Curry, with his presence in the lineup diminishing the roles of other Warriors' reserve ball-handlers, such as Leandro Barbosa.

Livingston (toe) will not play in Wednesday's season opener versus Sacramento, CSN Bay Area reports.
Livingston scrimmaged during Tuesday's practice, but still short of being ready for game action. As a result, the wiry ball-handler's Warriors debut has been put on hold until at least Saturday versus the Lakers. With Brandon Rush (back) also ruled out Wednesday, Leandro Barbosa could feature off Golden State's bench to begin this season.

Livingston (toe) scrimmaged during Tuesday's practice but remains doubtful for Wednesday's opener against the Kings, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The Warriors won't rush Livingston back, especially with the Kings and Lakers first up on the schedule. Expect Livingston to miss Wednesday's game, though there's a chance he could play Saturday against Los Angeles.

Livingston (toe) was limited in Sunday's practice and remains unlikely to play in Wednesday's opener, Monte Poole of CSN reports.
Livingston underwent arthroscopic surgery on his toe in mid-August and missed all of the preseason. He's been a limited participant in practice recently, but he'll likely remain out of game action until he's able to complete a full practice. Brandon Rush (back) and Leandro Barbosa both figure to see increased minutes in Livingston's absence.
Tue Oct 21 201421:06Livingston (toe) doubtful for start of regular season
Livingston (toe) is doubtful for the start of the regular season, Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears reports.
Coach Steve Kerr said it was "highly doubtful" that Livingston would be ready, so owners should prepare to be without him, probably for at least the first week of the season. Leandro Barbosa should see extended run off the bench in Livingston's absence.

Livingston still does not have a definite target date for his return from toe surgery, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. "To me, it's unrealistic to think we can just throw Shaun out there. At this point, he hasn't played basketball since the playoffs, and he probably needs a couple of weeks on the court practicing with us and getting his legs underneath him," said head coach Steve Kerr.
Kerr was responding to questions about Livingston possibly returning in time for the regular season. He's not sounding optimistic. As preparation for a lineup without Livingston, Kerr used Andre Iguodala off the bench as a facilitator in Sunday night's preseason win over the Lakers.

Livingston (toe) didn't practice Friday, but participated in shooting drills, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports.
All in all, it was a positive medical report for Livingston, although he remains unlikely to play during the preseason, and his status for the start of the regular season is unclear.

Livingston (toe) is doubtful to play at all during the preseason, Bay Area News Group reports.
Livingston continues to recover from toe surgery and will be brought along slowly in hopes of being ready for the regular season. With the veteran out, both Leandro Barbosa and Nemanja Nedovic will see more looks at point guard throughout the exhibition season.
Thu Oct 2 201407:51Livingston (toe) not practicing
Livingston (toe) is not practicing, but has been participating in post-practice shooting sessions, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
There have been varying reports as to when Livingston will be able to practice. The working assumption is that he'll be able to start the regular season, but without much practice/training time, he'd most likely be limited early on.

Livingston (toe) was out of his walking boot at the team's media day Monday and hopes to be ready to play opening night, Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area reports.
Livingston is apparently ahead in his recovery from a sprained toe, which required surgery, but it's unclear whether returning for opening night is a realistic possibility. Last week, coach Steve Kerr seemed skeptical about that timetable, stating that he believes Livingston will require a bit more time to regain his strength and conditioning before returning to game action. The Warriors will continue to monitor his progress throughout the preseason, and a more definitive return date will be set as the team's Oct. 29 regular season opener approaches.
Fri Sep 26 201418:02Livingston (toe) expected to miss start of season
Livingston (toe) is expected to miss the start of the season, Ibabuzz.com reports.
Livingston was recently reported to have said he could return at some point during the Warriors' training camp, but coach Steve Kerr isn't quite on board with that statement. Kerr reportedly believes Livingston will have to take the first few weeks of the season off in order to improve his conditioning and strength. Although it's obvious Livingston is trying to be back for the season opener, the Warriors aren't going to rush back arguably their best acquisition of the offseason, after he underwent arthroscopic surgery in August. Look for him to probably come back sometime within the first few weeks of the regular season.

Livingston (toe) says he's ahead of schedule with his recovery and could return during the Warriors' training camp, CSN Bay Area's Monte Poole reports.
This would certainly be ideal for the Warriors and for fantasy owners in deeper leagues, as he would presumably be close to ready for the start of the regular season if he were able to take part in the latter stages of camp.

Livingston's return date from toe surgery is unclear at this point, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Livingston sprained his big toe back in July, which ended up requiring surgery after it wasn't healing on its own. He was initially given a minimum 6-8 week timetable for return, but it sounds like that would be optimistic at this point.
Fri Aug 15 201417:23Shaun Livingston: (Toe) Out 6-8 Weeks
Livingston (toe) had arthroscopic surgery and is expected to miss a minimum of 6-8 weeks, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Livingston sprained his left big toe back in July and it apparently wasn't healing on its own, thus requiring surgery. With the 2014-15 season still a ways down the road, the 28-year-old will likely have enough time to recover without missing any crucial parts of training camp.
Fri Jul 11 201421:07Livingston out 3-4 weeks with sprained toe
Shaun Livingston will miss the next 3-4 weeks with a sprained right big toe he injured during the playoffs.
Livingston doesn't need the offseason work like a younger player and the only concern here is if the situation lingers into the preseason. We'll let you know if that is the case.
