Sun Dec 11 201117:41Reggie Evans drawing interest from four teams
Reggie Evans is drawing interest from Boston, New Jersey, Portland and Toronto.
The veteran rebounding specialist is not thought to be close to a deal. The chance to play for a contender may come into play for Evans, but playing time will almost surely be under consideration as well. He shouldn't take long to make his decision official.

Sat Dec 10 201117:05Trail Blazers looking at three FA big men
The Trail Blazers' search for another big man has been narrowed down to Reggie Evans, Kurt Thomas or Josh McRoberts.
Each of these players has his virtues, and Portland certainly needs to upgrade their frontcourt reserves. They especially need a backup PF and McRoberts easily has the most fantasy upside of this lot.

Fri Dec 2 201118:11Celtics reach out to FA Reggie Evans
The Celtics have reached out to Reggie Evans' agent, and Evans said he was "honored" by their interest.
The veteran PF will probably field a few low-level contract offers, and there are few spots he'd fit better than Boston. They need his brute strength and aggression after losing Kendrick Perkins, and he's a veteran who would likely mesh well and contribute immediately. Boston wants one more crack at a championship before revamping their roster for 2012-13.

Thu May 26 201114:55Reggie Evans not back with Raptors?
SI's Sam Amick suggests free agent Reggie Evans will not be back with the Raptors.
Evans was the heart and soul of the Raptors, just like he is every stop he goes. However, he fits better with a contender looking for a pure rebounder/energy guy to get them over the hump. With Amir Johnson and Ed Davis both at power forward in Toronto, Evans is likely moving on.

Tue Apr 12 201115:46Evans, Raptors big names done for year
Reggie Evans won't play on Wednesday due to his finger injury, while Andrea Bargnani, Jose Calderon, Leandro Barbosa and Amir Johnson have also been shutdown for the year.
Joey Dorsey should start again for Evans after ripping down 20 rebounds (10 offensive) on Monday night.

Mon Apr 11 201119:05Reggie Evans out on Monday
Reggie Evans will miss Monday's game with an index finger suffered in his previous outing.
The Raps will start Jerryd Bayless, DeMar DeRozan, James Johnson, Joey Dorsey and Ed Davis tonight, as most of the regular starters aren't with the team.

Fri Apr 8 201122:13Evans, Davis play well for Raptors
Reggie Evans and Ed Davis both started for the banged up Raptors on Friday, with Evans finishing with eight points and 15 rebounds in the loss.
Davis added a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards, and both players are solid starting options as long as Andrea Bargnani (ankle) and Amir Johnson (ankle) out.

Wed Apr 6 201122:14Reggie Evans double-doubles in loss
Reggie Evans started at power forward for Amir Johnson (sore ankle) and had a season high of 15 points and 13 boards on 6-of-8 shooting Wednesday.
With both Amir and Andrea Bargnani hurting, Evans is worth a look again, despite being one of the oldest players in the league.

Wed Apr 6 201119:18Reggie Evans gets the start for Johnson
Reggie Evans started on Wednesday night in place of Amir Johnson (ankle).
There was no rumblings of Johnson possibly missing this one, but it appears that his ankle is acting up, which allows Evans to draw the start. He rebounds and does very little else.

Sun Apr 3 201122:57Evans racks up 17 rebounds off the bench
Reggie Evans piled up 17 rebounds in 32 minutes off the bench during Sunday's upset of the Magic.
Ed Davis (eight points, six rebounds) and Amir Johnson (two points, two rebounds) started in the frontcourt, but Evans' tenacious play against Dwight Howard earned him the majority of minutes. We can't guarantee that will happen every night as the Raptors must give their young players burn, but we do know that Evans will board anytime he gets on the court. He's a high-risk rebounding specialist going forward.

Wed Mar 30 201123:11Reggie Evans quiet in return from foot injury
Reggie Evans returned from his sore foot and had four points and five rebounds in 14 minutes Wednesday.
Amir Johnson added just 3 & 6, Ed Davis had 2 & 5 and James Johnson had 8 & 10. Davis and Evans are no longer rolling and oddly enough, James Johnson, and not Amir, looks like the best fantasy bet, at least for now.

Wed Mar 30 201113:16Reggie Evans ready to go
Reggie Evans (foot) will play against the Bucks Wednesday.
It's extremely difficult to project how many minutes Evans will play tonight as Andrea Bargnani (ankle) is a game-time decision and Evans is coming off two straight games off. Only owners really desperate for rebounds should take a flier here.

Mon Mar 28 201119:57Reggie Evans (foot) practices Monday
Reggie Evans (foot) practiced without any reported limitations on Monday, and we're calling him questionable for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.
We would call him probable, but it's too late in the season to do that with a player like Evans that has missed so much time this year. While Amir Johnson and Ed Davis should be getting as much run as they can handle, Jay Triano is intent on playing the journeyman Evans. Depending on the status of Evans and Andrea Bargnani (ankle), Johnson and Davis could see their value swing by a good amount.

Sat Mar 26 201117:14Reggie Evans out again w/ sore foot
As expected, Reggie Evans (foot) will not play for Toronto on Saturday.
Evans has soreness in his surgically-repaired foot and isn't likely to push himself with the Raptors (20-52) floundering near the bottom of the East. Ed Davis and James Johnson stand to gain from any games that he misses.

Fri Mar 25 201115:04Reggie Evans out Friday, doubtful for Sat.
Raptors PF Reggie Evans (foot) is inactive for Friday's game and also sounds doubtful for Saturday.
Evans is battling "soreness in his surgically repaired foot," which obviously isn't promising for his rest-of-season prospects. He's a rebounding machine, but also a specialist, and an injured one at that.

Thu Mar 24 201118:11Reggie Evans foot sore again
Reggie Evans missed Thursday's practice due to soreness in his foot.
There's no confirmation yet, but we assume this is Evans' surgically-repaired foot that is giving him problems. It's also probably why he only played 15 minutes last night. Owners digging for rebounding help should probably start looking elsewhere.

Thu Mar 24 201102:05Reggie Evans play sjust 15 minutes
Reggie Evans played just 15 minutes for zero points and six rebounds in Wednesday's loss.
Maybe it was a matchups thing with the undersized Suns, or the return of Amir Johnson, but then again, Evans played less than 20 minutes in his previous game, as well. Hopefully the Raptors have figured out that Johnson and Ed Davis need the experience and will limit Evans' minutes going forward. All three are risky fantasy plays at this point, yet all three are worth keeping a close eye on, as well.

Tue Mar 22 201104:11Evans doesn't take advantage of Amir exit
Neither Reggie Evans nor Ed Davis was able to take advantage of Amir Johnson's early exit with his ongoing ankle injury, as Evans was held scoreless on four shot attempts with nine rebounds and a steal in 20 minutes, and Davis scored three points on 1-of-5 shooting with five boards and two blocks in 22 minutes.
This 43-point loss isn't wearing well on anybody, but when you're locked in a two-or-three headed timeshare it looks especially bad. Unless Johnson shuts it down, none of the three are likely to hold any value with the way Jay Triano is setting his rotation.

Sun Mar 20 201122:32Reggie Evans records nice line off bench
Reggie Evans came off the bench for 13 points, nine rebounds and a steal in Sunday's upset of the Thunder.
Evans, Amir Johnson and Ed Davis are forming a three-headed monster at power forward, but it's the veteran that is putting up the best numbers. In his first six games back, Evans is averaging 5.8 points, 12.6 rebounds and 1.0 steals.

Sun Mar 13 201117:47Reggie Evans corrals 17 boards vs. Bobcats
Reggie Evans had six points and 17 rebounds in Sunday's loss to the Bobcats.
That sounds like Reggie Evans. He's a rebounding machine and can pile them up in rapid fashion but that's about the extent of what you will get out of him.
