Mon Jan 3 2011 | 22:10 | Gadzuric (groin) returns to action Monday |
Dan Gadzuric (groin) returned to action on Monday, playing nine minutes on his way to four points on 2-of-4 shooting with one rebound and one assist before fouling out. |
His job was to hack Dwight Howard and he did his job well, but unless your league rewards fouling he's not worth fantasy consideration barring many more Warriors injuries. |
Mon Jan 3 2011 | 12:51 | Gadzuric (groin) will return Monday |
Warriors center Dan Gadzuric (groin) will return on Monday but will not start vs. the Magic. |
Golden State is without Andris Biedrins (ankle), and David Lee is doubtful with a back injury, so we'll see more of Gadzilla than usual. It seems likely that Dwight Howard will absolutely dominate Golden State's watered-down frontcourt. |

Sun Dec 26 2010 | 01:42 | Gadzuric (groin) still hasn't returned |
Dan Gadzuric (groin) did not play on Saturday against the Blazers. |
He's missing a rare chance to get on the court with Andris Biedrins (foot) sidelined, but even then he'd be a hard guy to recommend even the deepest of leagues. |
Mon Dec 20 2010 | 12:21 | Gadzuric out w/ groin injury |
Dan Gadzuric did not return to Saturday's game after straining his left groin. |
The Warriors PF/C was getting a bit more run that usual with Andris Biedrins out, but he still doesn't offer fantasy value. Don't be surprised if he misses a few games with this groin injury. |
Sun Dec 19 2010 | 17:21 | Dan Gadzuric misses GSW practice |
Dan Gadzuric didn't practice for the Warriors Sunday due to an undisclosed injury. |
He has no fantasy value when healthy and we're guessing his back is bothering him. |

Tue Nov 23 2010 | 03:47 | Gadzuric nears double-double vs. DEN |
Dan Gadzuric neared a double-double in Monday's game against the Nuggets, scoring eight points on 3-of-8 shooting with 11 rebounds, one assist, and two blocks in 32 minutes. |
Despite this serviceable line, it's almost mandatory that we point out his limitations as a basketball player and the fact that he hadn't eclipsed 20 minutes in a game all year before tonight. If you're desperate you could always give him a try, but you'll probably be sorry. |
Tue Nov 16 2010 | 04:00 | Gadzuric gets 11 rebounds on Monday |
Dan Gadzuric grabbed 11 rebounds on Monday, but managed just one point on 0-for-6 shooting in 12 minutes off the bench. |
No, he isn't a poor man's Reggie Evans, which needless to say is pretty poor. He's still waiver wire fodder barring a miraculous advancement in his game. |
Sun Nov 14 2010 | 03:57 | Gadzuric starts for injured Lee (elbow) |
Dan Gadzuric drew a spot-start with David Lee (elbow) injured, but played just 12 minutes and scored two points to go with three rebounds, a steal, and an assist. |
He's a big body that can take up space, but can only be kept on the court for limited minutes before his weaknesses get fully exploited. Even if he gets another start, owners should stay far away. |
Thu Nov 11 2010 | 22:33 | Gadzuric returns from back ailment |
Dan Gadzuric (back spasms) returned Thursday after missing the team's last three games, playing 20 minutes off the bench and contributing eight points, six rebounds and a block. |
Gadzuric is strictly an energy player and doesn't belong on anyone's fantasy roster. |
Wed Nov 10 2010 | 18:45 | Gadzuric out on Wednesday w/ back spasms |
Dan Gadzuric will miss Wednesday's game with back spasms. |
While that doesn't have any fantasy implications, the fact Monta Ellis is a go is huge. |

Tue Jun 22 2010 | 17:42 | Gadzuric now in big-man mix for GSW |
Dan Gadzuric has been traded to the Warriors (along with Charlie Bell) for Corey Maggette. |
Gadzuric may or may not be on the roster on opening night. Our guess is it all depends on whether or not the team re-signs Anthony Tolliver. Either way, even if he plays for GSW and Don Nelson (who may or may not be back), Gadzuric will have no fantasy value, as usual. |
Thu Apr 8 2010 | 09:38 | Gadzuric seeing increased play with Bogut out |
Dan Gadzuric is starting to see minutes in the Bucks lineup due to the season ending injury to Andrew Bogut (elbow). |
The Bucks have dusted off their former starting center and given him a decent compliment of minutes. Gadzuric is still rusty from sitting so much this season and shouldn't be considered even if he gets inserted into the starting lineup. |
