Sun Mar 16 201416:31Hendo has a nice effort vs. the Bucks
Gerald Henderson made 6-of-7 from the field with two 3-pointers for his 14 points against the Bucks on Sunday with five boards, six assists, one steal and one block.
It's the second game in a row in which he's hit multiple treys, which is a surprise because he has never accomplished that feat in his entire NBA career. Henderson has been solid since his return from a calf injury over his last three with averages of 12.3 points, 3.3 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.0 blocks, 0.3 steals and 1.3 triples. He's a low-end guy in standard leagues.

Wed Mar 12 201422:19Henderson returns to action on Wednesday
Gerald Henderson (calf) returned to action in Wednesday' win over the Wizards, scoring 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting with one rebound and two blocks in 27 minutes.
Hendo has been a deep league guy all season and the emergence of Chris Douglas-Roberts and arrival of Gary Neal will do him no favors in that regard.

Wed Mar 12 201417:38Gerald Henderson (calf) to start vs. Wizards
Gerald Henderson (calf) will start against the Wizards on Wednesday.
He missed five games with his calf strain and there's no word just yet on how many minutes he'll see. The Bobcats fared well without him going 3-2 and the two losses were at Miami and Memphis, so the drop off to Chris Douglas-Roberts was almost non-existent. Henderson's stats haven't been there, so he's not a must-plckup guy in standard leagues. Meanwhile, CDR is about as obsolete as a portable CD player right now.

Wed Mar 12 201412:52Gerald Henderson (calf) probable Wednesday
Gerald Henderson (calf) shot around without any setbacks on Wednesday and he's on pace to play vs. the Wizards.
Henderson's return is great for the Bobcats' playoff hunt but it won't have profound fantasy fallout since he's been a borderline option in 32+ minutes all season. Chris Douglas-Roberts will likely move back to the bench with Hendo healthy.

Tue Mar 11 201413:04Gerald Henderson likely to play Wednesday
Gerald Henderson (calf) is likely to play against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Henderson was reportedly moving well during Tuesday's practice and coach Steve Clifford said Henderson will start against the Wizards if he is able to go. Assuming Henderson suits up Wednesday, Chris Douglas-Roberts' fantasy value would take a hit as he moves back to a reserve role.

Mon Mar 10 201417:05Gerald Henderson (calf) out on Monday night
Gerald Henderson (calf) will not play against the Nuggets on Monday.
This will be his fifth game out of the lineup and he was expected to be re-evaluated today. Henderson should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards. Chris Douglas-Roberts will get the start again and has been very effective over his last four. He's a solid plug-and-play in a plus matchup.

Mon Mar 10 201416:35Gerald Henderson to be reevaluated Monday
Gerald Henderson (calf) was scheduled to be reevaluated Monday.
The results of Henderson's reevaluation are not yet known. We'd expect to hear an update from the team by 6pm ET Monday, an hour before they host the Nuggets. For what it's worth, the Charlotte Observer is projecting Chris Douglas-Roberts as the starter at shooting guard once again. CDR is averaging 13.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 3-pointers, 1.7 steals and 1.3 assists per night over his last three games.

Wed Mar 5 201411:36Gerald Henderson (calf) out at least 3 games
Gerald Henderson's strained calf will prevent him from playing on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, and he'll be re-evaluated next week.
Gary Neal will continue starting in his absence and more minutes will open up for Luke Ridnour. Calf injuries are easily aggravated and Henderson may not be ready to return next week, either. most fantasy owners would be better off cutting him given his lackluster production and uncertain return date.

Mon Mar 3 201418:11Gerald Henderon (calf) will not play vs. Heat
Gerald Henderson (strained right calf) will not play against the Heat on Monday.
He played 28 minutes on Sunday night vs. the Thunder and may have suffered the injury late in that game. Henderson has been very healthy all season and this will be his first DNP. He had a boring stat line in February, averaging 11.9 points, 3.5 boards, 2.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 triples on just 45.0 percent from the field and 58.3 percent from the line. He's not a must-own player. Gary Neal will start.

Sat Feb 8 201422:22Gerald Henderson scored 23 points in loss
Gerald Henderson scored 23 points with five boards, four assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Spurs on Saturday.
It's the first game in 2014 which he's hit multiple 3-pointers and his point total was his best since Jan. 11. Henderson's stats haven't really been there with Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson dominating the ball, so not getting 3-pointers will limit his ceiling in fantasy hoops. He's more of a low-upside player in standard leagues.

Wed Feb 5 201401:26Gerald Henderson fills stat sheet in win
Gerald Henderson hit 8-of-17 shots for 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists and a steal in Tuesday's surprisingly easy win over the Warriors.
Henderson has been playing well, but this might have been his finest line of the season. He's not going to hit many threes for you, but is averaging 14.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and a steal over his last five games, despite a six-point performance on Saturday.

Sat Feb 1 201401:36Henderson scores 20 points vs. Lakers
Gerald Henderson scored 20 points on 9-of-19 shooting with three rebounds, three assists and two steals in Friday's win.
Henderson scored 16 points with eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks in Wednesday's game and as a low-end value in 12-14 team leagues he's probably worth owning in most standard formats now that he's hot.

Wed Jan 29 201423:53Gerald Henderson scores 16 points in 35 mins.
Gerald Henderson scored 16 points with eight boards, five assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
He's having a very boring month statistically, averaging 15.3 points, 3.2 boards, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.4 blocks and 0.4 triples in his previous January games. Henderson is a part of the rotation, but he's nothing more than a low-upside bench player in standard formats.

Sat Jan 11 201423:07Gerald Henderson drops season-high 30 points
Gerald Henderson lit up the Bulls for a season-high 30 points on 10-of-16 FGs and 9-of-9 FTs, but his big night was spoiled as the Bobcats lost 97-103 in Chicago.
This makes three straight losses for Charlotte but Henderson is doing more than his fair share to get them back on track, and his scoring average now stands at 18.8 points per game in January. He's not usually a multi-cat threat but he even chipped in a 3-pointer, three boards, three assists, two steals and one block tonight, to the delight of his fantasy owners.

Sat Dec 28 201323:29Gerald Henderson scores 22 in OT loss
Gerald Henderson hit 11-of-17 shots and zero 3-pointers for 22 points, five rebounds and four assists in Saturday's overtime loss to the Hawks.
Henderson has hit just two 3-pointers in December, which is brutal for a shooting guard, but has also scored in double figures in all but three games this season. He's averaging 15.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.8 steals in December, which means he is still useful if for not other reason than the scoring.

Fri Dec 20 201322:36Henderson scores 22 points with eight boards
Gerald Henderson scored 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in Friday's win over the Pistons.
Henderson's poor peripherals, including 0.3 threes per game, 41.6 percent shooting and just a combined 1.4 steals and blocks per game each limit him to borderline 12-team value. He has been a bit better over the last two weeks, though, flirting with the top-100 and he should be owned in most formats.

Tue Dec 17 201322:30Gerald Henderson scores 20 in win
Gerald Henderson hit 7-of-13 shots for 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, a steal and two blocks in Tuesday's win.
He didn't hit a 3-pointer, but is playing well, averaging 15.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 blocks over his last five. He hasn't been stealing or hitting 3-pointers, but is playing well enough right now to be considered a solid start in most leagues.

Sat Dec 14 201321:43Gerald Henderson scores 13 points vs. Lakers
Gerald Henderson scored 13 points against the Lakers during Saturday's 88-85 loss to go with six boards, one steal and two block sin 34 minutes.
He's played some small forward on top his his starting shooting-guard duties to give coach Steve Clifford flexibility with his lineups due to the loss of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (hand). Henderson has been quietly consistent over the previous 10 games, averaging 16.3 points, 4.1 boards, 2.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 triples. He's a low-end option in fantasy leagues for his lack of defense and 3-pointers.

Sat Nov 30 201300:05Henderson scores 19 points in easy win
Gerald Henderson scored 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, three assists and a steal in Friday's easy win over the Bucks.
Henderson and Kemba Walker (3-of-10 FGs) have struggled to make shots with Al Jefferson dominating the offense, so it's good to see at least one of them do well tonight. Henderson has been a low-end value over the last week or two in standard leagues, but given the chance this is a feeling out period for the Bobcats owners should cut him a bit more slack than normal.

Mon Nov 18 201323:02Henderson posts 16-8-6 line in loss
Gerald Henderson scored 16 points on 5-of-15 shooting (2-of-2 3PTs, 4-of-4 FTs) with eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in Monday's loss.
Henderson and Co. were not encumbered by Al Jefferson's volume down low, as the big man missed yet another game, but he and Kemba Walker (3-of-14 FGs) sure aren't doing much to demand touches when Jefferson gets back. Henderson has played well enough to be in some 12-14 team lineups over the past two weeks, but his 35.9 percent shooting on the year has destroyed his overall value.
