Reversing a previous report, Linas Kleiza (knee) will not play on Wednesday.

Kleiza's knee may have responded poorly to shootaround or pre-game warmpus, but either way he's been too inconsistent for use in average leagues.

Kleiza is a bigger headache than he's worth. Knee woes have plagued him all year, and Kleiza's role in the rotation is inconsistent at best. With 14 games on Wednesday night, owners can do better if searching for a spot-start.

Kleiza struggled through 26 minutes on Sunday and can't go on the back-to-back. It means more minutes for the likes of Alan Anderson and James Johnson.

The Raptors have developed an ardent 'Tank Nation' (encouraging the team to lose as many games as possible and thus get higher odds in the draft lottery) and despite tonight's victory it seems the wheels will come off sooner or later. Kleiza was marginalized by Gary Forbes (nine points in 24 minutes) and even little-known Alan Anderson (nine points in 12 minutes).

Kleiza runs hot and cold, and unfortunately it has been more of the latter than the former lately. He belongs on the wire in most cases, unless he holds the starting job and owners are taking a flier on a spot-starter.

Gary Forbes chipped in nine points in 27 minutes off the bench. Dwane Casey made a concentrated effort to spread minutes around more evenly in the second game of a back-to-back set, so we're not getting excited about either guy. More minutes should be open due to Leandro Barbosa's departure, but Casey's rotations are up-and-down, and Jose Calderon's return will once again pinch minutes for all involved.

Kleiza is cold right now but give him a look after his next big night. He tends to string together a few good games in a row before going cold.

Kleiza played just 12 minutes and had two points, and there are some rumblings that his knee could once again be acting up. An ultimate plug and play guy when he's hot, Kleiza's constant knee woes have been an issue all season. It makes sense to drop him for a free agent who is rolling.
