Tue Oct 12 201015:42Ronnie Brewer to make Bulls' debut on Tue.
Ronnie Brewer (hamstring) will make his Bulls preseason debut on Tuesday.
Brewer should eventually overtake Keith Bogans for the starting SG job, but for now he'll come off the bench. "Physically he's fine," said coach Tom Thibodeau. "We'll gradually build him up to where he's playing 18-20 minutes."

Sun Oct 10 201019:33Ronnie Brewer plans to play this week
Ronnie Brewer (hamstring) practiced on Sunday and plans to play in an exhibition this week.
Brewer is competing for playing time with Kyle Korver and Keith Bogans, but ideally the Bulls' rotation will crystallize in the next few weeks. At the moment he's probably not worth more than a late-round flier.
Fri Oct 8 201010:06Ronnie Brewer (hamstring) isn't concerned
Bulls swingman Ronnie Brewer isn't too concerned about his lingering hamstring injury.
"I think it's more precautionary right now," said Brewer. "I've been practicing, working out with the team. It's still early. I don't want to really push it and have an early injury." This is standard procedure during the preseason and hopefully we'll get some positive updates in the next few weeks.

Mon Oct 4 201015:00Bogans to start for Brewer Monday
Ronnie Brewer will miss Monday's preseason game with a lingering hamstring injury with Keith Bogans starting in his place.
We thought Kyle Korver was battling with Brewer for the starting shooting guard job in Chicago, but it looks like Bogans could get the call if Brewer's injury keeps him out of any regular-season games.

Fri Oct 1 201000:12Brewer, Korver fighting for starting job
Ronnie Brewer, who is still limited by a severe hamstring injury suffered last season, is in a battle with Kyle Korver for the starting shooting guard job in Chicago.
Brewer had the edge coming into camp because of his defense, but Korver's outside shooting could be a big key for the Bulls. Regardless of who starts, it's likely the pair will play similar minutes, making both of them worth a last-round look in standard fantasy drafts. Brewer's health will likely be a key as to who wins this battle.

Thu Sep 30 201014:23Roonie Brewer dealing w/ hamstring
Ronnie Brewer has been limited in training camp due to a sore hamstring.
He is expected to start at shooting guard as long as the injure doesn't linger for too much longer.

Mon Jul 19 201018:21Ronnie Brewer introduced by Chicago Bulls
Ronnie Brewer officially signed a three-year, $12.5 million contract with the Bulls on Monday.
Perhaps the most important facet of Brewer's introductory press conference is that he said his hamstring is fully healed. The door is wide open for him to start at SG this year, and we only wish that he'd add a few 3-pointers (0.2 per game on 23% for his career) to go along with his solid 52% FG shooting and 1.5 steals per game.

Fri Jul 16 201014:11Brewer reaches agreement with Bulls
Free agent Ronnie Brewer reached an agreement with the Bulls on a three-year, $12.5 million contract.
The Bulls are the new Jazz, with former Utah players Carlos Boozer, Kyle Korver and now Brewer in place. The Grizzlies made a mistake by not picking up Brewer's option, but they were apparently already planning on dumping all their money on Rudy Gay. Brewer's a solid player, and already looks like the favorite to start at shooting guard for the Bulls.

Thu Jul 15 201017:07Ronnie Brewer interested in Chicago Bulls
Free agent swingman Ronnie Brewer is interested in playing for the Bulls, according to his agent.
Should Orlando match the Bulls' offer for J.J. Redick, it would conceivably open up a slot for Brewer, who is returning from a season-ending hamstring injury.

Tue Jul 13 201019:34Brewer could return to Jazz
Shooting guard Ronnie Brewer could be poised to join the Jazz if they choose not to match Portland's offer to Wesley Matthews.
Brewer, who was traded from Utah to Memphis last season, is interested in returning to Utah. However, it does sound like the only way Brewer would return is if the Jazz don't match Matthews' offer, which is five-years and $33.4 million.

Thu Jul 8 201009:19Jazz eyeing Brewer, Matthews
The Jazz are looking to bring back Ronnie Brewer, who was traded to the Grizzlies last season, and Wesley Matthews, who is a restricted free agent this summer.
The Jazz can match any offer that Matthews receives, and are expected to do so within reason. Brewer is now unrestricted after the Grizzlies didn't make a qualifying offer, and the Jazz are expected to talk to agent Henry Thomas soon. They probably would have already talked to him, but he's been a little busy lately because two of his other clients are named Wade and Bosh.

Wed Jun 30 201019:22Grizzlies let Ronnie Brewer walk away
The Grizzlies have decided not to make a qualifying offer of $3.8 million, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent at midnight.
This one doesn't make much sense, as the Grizzlies gave a future first-round pick for Brewer, who played just five games for Memphis.

Sat Apr 17 201009:54Ronnie Brewer, Grizzlies mutually interested
Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley insists that the team wants to re-sign restricted FA Ronnie Brewer.
Memphis gave up a first-round draft pick for Brewer, who suffered a hamstring injury after playing in just five games for the Griz. Brewer described the Grizzlies as a team "on the rise" and seems content to return.
