Thu Oct 21 201022:44CDR getting run while he can
Chris Douglas-Roberts played 37 minutes in Thursday's preseason game, and finished with 16 points on 7-of-14 shooting with three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
He's gotten a number of starts at SG with John Salmons (knee) and Corey Maggette (ankle) out, but when they return and the games count he's going to get lost in the shuffle real quick. Don't look into his 30-minute average during the preseason, at all.
Mon Oct 18 201002:54Douglas-Roberts starts, scores 13
Chris Douglas-Roberts started and played 34 minutes on Sunday, going 5-of-11 from the field to register 13 points, one rebound, three assists, one steal and two turnovers.
Douglas-Roberts has been logging heavy minutes recently (32, 35, 35 over his last three games) with starting wings John Salmons (knee) and Corey Maggette (ankle) sidelined. When both return for the regular season, CDR will be rendered nearly irrelevant for fantasy purposes.
Thu Oct 14 201021:44CDR starts and plays 35 minutes vs. WAS
Chris Douglas-Roberts started at SG and played 35 minutes on Thursday, managing eight points on 3-of-10 shooting with four rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block.
He's getting run now with John Salmons (knee) and Corey Maggette (ankle) out of action, but it's unclear whether or not he'll get a spot in the rotation at this point. He's not worth a draft pick outside of deeper dynasty leagues.
Fri Oct 8 201022:23Douglas-Roberts shines in starting role
Bucks guard Chris Douglas-Roberts started and played well in his 32 minutes against the Magic tonight, scoring 18 points while going 8-for-14 from the field and collecting two rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
With John Salmons (knee), Carlos Delfino (toe), Corey Maggette (ankle) and Michael Redd (knee) all out of action, Douglas-Roberts seized his opportunity to impress the coaching staff. Tonight's performance bodes well for his chances of making the 12-man active roster, but there will be no place for him in the lineup when the regular season rolls around.
Wed Jun 23 201014:01Nets trade Douglas-Roberts to Bucks
The Nets have traded Chris Douglas-Roberts to the Bucks for a 2012 second-round pick.
This is a steal for the Bucks, who may be ready to move on without Michael Redd. CDR can play both guard positions, and could even start at shooting guard for the Bucks if necessary.

Tue Jun 22 201023:39Report: Nets trade CDR for 2nd Round pick
The Milwaukee Bucks will reportedly give the Nets a second-round draft pick for guard Chris Douglas-Roberts, according to Yahoo! Sports.
If it happens, and we think that a second-rounder is a very low price to pay for CDR, the Nets will hold the Nos. 3, 27, 31 and whatever pick they get from the Bucks for Douglas-Roberts. And if the Bucks set Michael Redd free as expected, CDR could make some noise at shooting guard in Milwaukee next year.

Tue Jun 22 201023:12Jersey's Douglas-Roberts on his way to Bucks?
Sources say the Bucks and Nets are in serious talks on a deal that would send guard Chris Douglas-Roberts to the Bucks for a second-round pick.
The Bucks have already added Corey Maggette, appear to be close to signing CDR, and have probably lost out on free agent John Salmons. All this leads us to believe the Bucks will be targeting a big man (15th pick) as opposed to a wing player in Thursday's draft.

Tue Apr 20 201010:31CDR's option not picked up yet
Nets team president Rod Thorn said he hasn't decided yet if Chris Douglas-Roberts' team option will be picked up.
The Nets could bring CDR back for just $854,389 and it would almost be a slap in the face if they didn't. After a hot start to the year, Douglas-Roberts fell into the doghouse and picked up a fistful of DNP-CDs. Still, the 2008 second-round pick has shown enough to be worthy of a bench spot in the league.

Sat Apr 10 201022:15Douglas-Roberts continues invisible play
Chris Douglas-Roberts finished Saturday's loss with two points, one rebound and two personal fouls in 19 minutes.
CDR is now averaging a mere 2.0 ppg in the last three contests, despite Jarvis Hayes going down with a sprained ankle on Friday. Hopefully he'll fare better under whoever the Nets' coach is next season.
