Fri Jan 10 201422:55Douglas-Roberts scores 16 points in loss
Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting with two 3-pointers and two boards in 27 minutes on Friday.
The 3-point shooting might have caught one's eye but with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returning very soon owners should watch this action from the wire in almost all formats.

Tue Jan 7 201422:03Douglas-Roberts quiet in start for Bobcats
Chris Douglas-Roberts started again on Tuesday and hit 2-of-4 shots (both 3-pointers) for six points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in a loss to the Wizards.
CDR now looks like the starting small forward until Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returns, which could be as soon as late next week. He's worth a short-term look in deeper leagues, but is far from a must-own player. Anthony Tolliver, the man he replaced in the first unit, had eight points and five boards off the bench.

Sun Jan 5 201402:17Chris Douglas-Roberts plays 35 mins. in start
Chris Douglas-Roberts started on Saturday night vs. the Kings in a 113-103 win, scoring 10 points, four boards, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.
He was tremendous in Thursday's game with 20 points, but a lot of that came in garbage time. Douglas-Roberts could hold some value while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (hand) is out, so he's worth a look in deep leagues for a short-term boost.

Fri Jan 3 201402:10Chris Douglas-Roberts breaks out for CHA
Chris Douglas-Roberts came off the bench for a season-high 20 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers on 6-of-8 shooting in 24 minutes on Thursday.
This game was a blowout and CDR got a lot of his goodies in garbage time. However, Anthony Tolliver continues to struggle as the starting small forward, and CDR could end up replacing him at some point, or at least make this an even timeshare. Keep a close eye on Douglas-Roberts going forward.

Sat Dec 21 201323:09Chris Douglas-Roberts plays 18 minutes
Chris Douglas-Roberts came off the Charlotte bench on Saturday and played 18 minutes, but missed his only shot and failed to score.
Anthony Tolliver is currently starting at small forward for the Cats, but if that doesn't work out, CDR is likely next in line. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is out indefinitely with a broken hand, while Jeff Taylor's season ended early due to a ruptured Achilles tendon.

Wed Dec 11 201317:26Douglas-Roberts could play 15 mins. if needed
Coach Steve Clifford said he's confident Chris Douglas-Roberts could play 15 minutes if needed.
The key phrase is "if needed" and chances are Douglas-Roberts won't be asked to play that much as long as Jeff Taylor's heel injury doesn't act up. He can be left off the wire in most leagues.

Wed Dec 11 201315:38Bobcats call up Douglas-Roberts for Wed.
The Bobcat have called up Chris Douglas-Roberts for Wednesday's game.
They will waive James Southerland and have some extra insurance at small forward. Jeff Taylor is expected to play, so Douglas-Roberts will likely not get much playing time unless the news turns bad on Taylor. He can be ignored in all leagues for now.

Tue Dec 10 201320:46Bobcats will call up Chris Douglas-Roberts
The Bobcats will call up Chris Douglas-Roberts from the D-League.
That's not a good sign for Jeff Taylor (heel) on Wednesday night. The Bobcats didn't get much out of Anthony Tolliver on Monday. Douglas-Roberts is not worth an add inane fantasy league.

Chris Douglas-Roberts has been signed by the Knicks.
This addition is assumed to be just a non-guaranteed training camp signing. Roberts holds career averages of 7.5 points, on 44.2 percent shooting, over 20.3 minutes in 161 games (52 starts) over four seasons with New Jersey, Milwaukee and Dallas. He doesn't seem to be a full time addition to the Knicks' roster.

Sat Jul 20 201318:20Douglas-Roberts playing for Lakers in Vegas
Chris Douglas-Roberts is playing for the Lakers during Summer League, and he's hopeful that L.A. will give him a guaranteed contract.
"They were interested last year, but things happen," said CDR, who averaged 27.8 points in the D-League last season. Persistent questions about his maturity have limited NBA team's interest, something he acknowledged in an interview with Hoopsworld. "Early in my career, I handled disappointment in a bad way," he said. "And I paid for that, it was a lesson for me. Everybody is talented here and everybody can play."

The Mavericks have signed Chris Douglas-Roberts to a non-guaranteed contract.
CDR's stay might be very short considering the Mavs now have 18 players on their roster and will need to cut three players by Monday. He has the talent to stick on an NBA team's bench, whether it's in Dallas or somewhere else.

Mon Oct 22 201217:30Lakers waive Chris Douglas-Roberts
The Lakers waived Chris Douglas-Roberts on Monday.
L.A. reportedly liked CDR's game, but they needed to make some tough roster cuts to get down to the 15-player limit. He played in Italy during the lockout and could return overseas if he doesn't draw interest from NBA teams.

Fri Oct 12 201208:28Lakers high on Chris-Douglas Roberts?
The Lakers are "high" on Chris Douglas-Roberts, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN Los Angeles.
CDR is just trying to make the final roster in training camp. However, the previous indication was that Douglas-Roberts would spend some time in the D-League, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him do that in order to play consistent minutes.
