Fri Apr 1 201109:59Maggette out of Bucks' rotation
Corey Maggette has been bumped from the Bucks' rotation by the strong play of Carlos Delfino, as well as the return of Drew Gooden and Michael Redd.
After expressing some frustration with his recent DNP-CDs, Maggette said, "[But] I thank Scott [Skiles] ... He's just adding more years on my career and giving me more rest time." Unfortunately for Milwaukee, Maggette's "rest time" is coming with a steep price tag -- he's owed more than $21.2 million over the next two seasons.

Sat Mar 26 201101:35Maggette sighting in Friday's game vs. NYK
Corey Maggette made his first appearance in three games on Friday, playing two minutes with one assist and a missed shot to his credit.
With the lack of injury reporting in Milwaukee, he could have been hurt and nobody would have known, or he could have simply fallen out of the rotation. Either way, his minutes are key to the value of both John Salmons and Carlos Delfino, and it's anybody's guess whether or not Scott Skiles will increase Maggette's run at this time.

Sun Mar 20 201119:02Maggette fails to log a minute for Bucks
Corey Maggette failed to log a single minute for the Bucks, receiving a DNP-CD.
Maggette was probably too busy watching Delfino drain another three when coach Scott Skiles called his number. Maggette poses no threat to enter the rotation on any significant level any time soon.

Tue Mar 15 201123:49Maggette logs 18 minutes in loss to Hawks
Corey Maggette logged 18 minutes in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Hawks, scoring 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including a three) with one rebound, two assists, and one steal.
His minutes need to be tracked by owners of Carlos Delfino and John Salmons, and it's also possible that Scott Skiles turns to him in one of his many lineup gyrations. For now, however, Maggette should remain firmly planted on the waiver wire.

Sun Mar 13 201120:49Maggette returns to action
Corey Maggette (knee) returned to action Sunday, posting three points in 7.1 minutes.
Maggette may not have played if the Bucks weren't down by 22 points after three quarters. We doubt that Maggette will threaten Carlos Delfino too badly, but the Bucks are really struggling to score. It's possible he gets a chance to spark the offense off the bench this week.

Sun Mar 13 201101:16Maggette (knee) available, but does not play
Corey Maggette (knee) was apparently available and going to play on Saturday, but ended up being held from action.
Injury information is hard to come by in Milwaukee, but we're calling him sidelined until we see him on the court. He should remain on waivers in most leagues until he shows us something, and the real impact now comes in terms of how much he hurts John Salmons and Carlos Delfino.

Sat Mar 12 201120:08Maggette (knee) will play on Saturday vs. PHI
Corey Maggette (knee) will play on Saturday against the Sixers.
He will return to a bench role and we'd wait to see him play before projecting him to clog things up at the wing spots for Milwaukee. However, owners of Carlos Delfino and John Salmons are on notice.

Sat Mar 12 201113:30Corey Maggette (knee) should play vs. 76ers
Corey Maggette (knee) went through all of Friday's practice and should be available against the 76ers on Saturday.
Maggette hasn't been a big part of Milwaukee's rotation lately, with both John Salmons and Carlos Delfino healthy. Fantasy owners should continue to avoid him.

Tue Mar 8 201110:06Maggette not traveling with the Bucks
Corey Maggette (knee) did not travel with the Bucks for Tuesday's game against the Wizards.
The results of Maggette's Monday MRI are not yet known, but he was falling out of the rotation anyway. Carlos Delfino and John Salmons are locked in to major minutes on the wings, while Maggette is safe to drop in all formats.

Mon Mar 7 201112:52Corey Maggette gets MRI on right knee Monday
Corey Maggette is scheduled for an MRI on his right knee Monday.
This comes out of nowhere but it may explain some of his recent struggles. Still, the Bucks were playing Carlos Delfino and Chris Douglas-Roberts ahead of Maggette most nights anyway. Owners can safely move on.

Sun Mar 6 201123:41Maggette crashes back to earth
Corey Maggette had just five points while playing 11.6 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Celtics.
Maggette got hot and played nearly 28 minutes last time out, but he's clearly off coach Scott Skiles' radar. The Bucks would much rather see Carlos Delfino or Chris Douglas-Roberts emerge as reliable options. Owners shouldn't be sitting around waiting for a random big game from Maggette.

Sat Mar 5 201101:01Maggette the flavor of the day in Milwaukee
Corey Maggette was the flavor of the day in Milwaukee on Friday, scoring 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting (including a three) with nine rebounds, no assists, and one steal in 28 minutes.
He is worth a look if your waiver wire is barren, but he has scored no more than 13 points in the three games entering tonight and it's anybody's guess who will hold value in the future for Milwaukee.

Wed Mar 2 201102:22Maggette struggling off the bench for Skiles
Corey Maggette scored 11 points on 3-of-7 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and no other statistics in 20 minutes off the bench on Tuesday.
We won't let you guys get too attached to your Milwaukee assets, and here's just one of the reasons why. Go ahead and drop him for a hot free agent.

Sun Feb 27 201100:56Maggette falling out of Skiles' rotation
Corey Maggette came off the bench again Saturday for just 14 minutes and six points on 2-of-6 shooting.
He was hot when starting, but has become a fixture on the bench, as Scott Skiles chose to give his minutes to Larry Sanders tonight, who was just called up from the D-League. If you want to drop Maggette, do it. Hey now!
Tue Feb 22 201109:18Maggette practices fully Monday
Corey Maggette (back) practiced in full on Monday.
The back injury knocked Maggette out of his starting role just before the break, and it's unclear if he'll get it back from Carlos Delfino. "I was able to get a lot of treatment on my back and it helped out a whole lot," said Maggette. "It's decent right now. It's not 100 percent." We'd expect some kind of hot hand timeshare against the Wolves tonight.

Thu Feb 17 201102:58Maggette scores 16 despite back injury
Corey Maggette returned from a back injury Wednesday and had 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and a 3-pointer on 4-of-12 shooting in 25 minutes.
He didn't start, replaced in the lineup by Carlos Delfino, but could easily return to his job after the break. Maggette is injury prone and will be inconsistent for the Bucks, but is still worth owning in many leagues.
Thu Feb 17 201101:19Corey Maggette returned to action on Wednesday February 16
Corey Maggette returned to action on Wednesday February 16.
Wed Feb 16 201120:25Maggette in, Ilyasova out for Bucks
Corey Maggette is expected to return from his back injury on Wednesday, while Ersan Ilyasova is not scheduled to play with an eye injury.
Maggette should be a safe start, which should hurt Carlos Delfino, although the absence of Ilyasova could offset the difference.

Tue Feb 15 201114:19Maggette's back better, could play Weds.
Corey Maggette's back is feeling better and there's a chance he will be able to play on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, he's probably going to be a game-time decision for that game, leaving owners in a potential bind. It's probably best to keep him benched for now.

Tue Feb 15 201109:27Maggette doing better, questionable Wednesday
Corey Maggette said his strained lower back was much improved on Monday but not good enough for him to play.
Maggette said he felt a shooting pain in the right side of his lower back while going for a layup against the Pacers on Saturday. We doubt he will rush back for Wednesday's final game before the All-Star break, meaning more monster minutes for Carlos Delfino. Delfino banged seven treys in 40.5 minutes on Monday night, gaining some separation on Maggette in their battle for the starting job.
