Sun Mar 2 201400:40Darrell Arthur scores 12 points vs. Blazers
Darrell Arthur (hip) returned from a three- game absence on Saturday with 12 points, three boards, two assists and one steal in 15 minutes.
He was starting for the Nuggets before the injury, but that probably won't be needed now that they have a point guard and they have some help on the wing. Arthur can be ignored in most formats.

Sat Mar 1 201413:13Update: Darrell Arthur to 'give it a go' Sat.
Updating a previous report, Darrell Arthur (strained hip) will reportedly "give it a go" vs. the Blazers on Saturday.
The Denver Post speculated that Arthur would likely sit out again, but play-by-play announcer Chris Marlowe heard differently before Saturday's shootaround. Wilson Chandler (knee) also remains questionable to face Portland, and owners should check back for updates following shootaround.

Sat Mar 1 201411:18Darrell Arthur (hip) likely out again vs. POR
Darrell Arthur (hip) is expected to miss his fourth consecutive game vs. the Trail Blazers on Saturday.
Arthur's absence has opened up more minutes for Jan Vesely and Anthony Randolph, neither of whom has done enough to provide temporary value in standard fantasy leagues. There is no timetable for Arthur's return, but he could make it back onto the court for Denver's home games on Monday or Wednesday.

Fri Feb 21 201421:50Darrell Arthur out with a left hip strain
Darrell Arthur suffered a left hip strain on Friday and will not return.
There is an epidemic of hip injuries for big men these days and Arthur is just the lately one. He's played 20.5 minutes per game in his last two due to the Nuggets sliding Wilson Chandler to shooting guard. If you had him in your deep league, this might be your queue to let him go.

Wed Feb 12 201418:59Darrell Arthur starts, Wilson Chandler to SG
Darrell Arthur will start at small forward for the Nuggets on Wednesday.
A smart move by coach Brian Shaw. The Nuggets have next to nothing at shooting guard after Quincy Miller's ugly game on Monday night. Plus, getting extra size in the lineup helps because of how the Nuggets have been abused in the paint. Arthur has been hurt a lot this season, so it's hard to imagine him getting a lot of minutes tonight. To be clear, the Nuggets will start him next to Randy Foye, Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried and J.J. Hickson.

Wed Jan 29 201413:35Darrell Arthur (hip) will return vs. Bobcats
Darrell Arthur (hip/groin) will return from a seven-game absence for Wednesday's home game vs. the Bobcats.
The Nuggets have compiled an 8-5 record in January on the strength of a very impressive offense, and it's unlikely Arthur's return will alter the rotation very much. His value remains limited to deep fantasy formats.

Tue Jan 28 201416:40Darrell Arthur (hip) could return vs. Bobcats
Darrell Arthur (hip) went through portions of Tuesday's practice and he's questionable to return on Wednesday vs. the Bobcats.
Arthur has been sidelined since Jan. 13 and may need a game or two to regain his conditioning, but even at full strength he's not a viable option in most fantasy leagues. He's averaging 5.6 points, 3.5 boards and 0.8 blocks off the bench for Denver.

Sat Jan 25 201415:51Darrell Arthur (hip) out again on Saturday
Darrell Arthur (hip) will not play vs. the Pacers on Saturday.
He's been out nearly two weeks and the Nuggets don't have a return date in mind. Arthur is averaging just 5.6 points on 41.2 percent shooting this season, with 3.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 18 minutes per game.

Wed Jan 22 201414:58Darrell Arthur (hip) won't play Thursday
Darrell Arthur (hip) will not play against the Blazers on Thursday night.
He is also doubtful for Saturday's game against the Pacers. Arthur's injury has been called a hip and a groin issue, but Thursday will be his fifth game out of the lineup. He's only played 18.2 minutes per game and doesn't have much fantasy value to begin with.

Sun Jan 19 201422:48Darrell Arthur (groin) aims to play this week
Darrell Arthur (groin) sat out again on Sunday but he's aiming to return late this week.
The Nuggets play in Portland on Thursday before hosting the Pacers on Saturday, so presumably he'll be back in the lineup for one of those games. Arthur was chipping in a mere 5.6 points and 3.5 rebounds per game before his injury and won't be a fantasy asset as long as guys like Kenneth Faried, J.J. Hickson and Timofey Mozgov are healthy.

Darrell Arthur (groin) will miss the Nuggets' next two road games.

Sun Jan 12 201409:12Darretll Arthur leaves w/ strained groin
Darrell Arthur didn't return to Saturday's game after straining his left groin in the third quarter.
Arthur finished scoreless in 11 minutes of action, which isn't too far off his season average of 5.6 points in 18 minutes per game. Denver's next two games are on Monday and Wednesday, and if Arthur can't play there will be extra minutes available for Kenneth Faried, J.J. Hickson and Timofey Mozgov.

Tue Dec 31 201300:25Arthur (quad) plays and scores 13 in loss
Darrell Arthur (quad) played in Monday's game against the Heat, scoring 13 points on 6-of-14 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 25 minutes off the bench.
This is actually one of Arthur's better lines of the season but we need to see much more before we pay any attention to him.

Mon Dec 30 201313:27Darrell Arthur (quad) game-time vs. Miami
Darrell Arthur (quad) will be a game-time decision vs. the Heat.
His quad was too stiff for him to play on Saturday and fantasy owners should be able to find safer options than Arthur, who boasts season averages of 5.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 18 minutes per game.

Sat Dec 28 201319:20Darrell Arthur (quad) won't play vs. Memphis
Darrell Arthur (quad) will not play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
He really wanted to give it a go tonight against his old team, but it's not going to happen. Arthur admitted his quad is extremely stiff, so this shouldn't be a surprise. He has no fantasy value in most leagues now that Kenneth Faried is back.

Sat Dec 28 201316:35Darrell Arthur pushing to play on Saturday
Darrell Arthur (quad) is pushing to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
He said his muscle was extremely stiff on Friday, but he looks to be a little more motivated to go up against his former team. Kenneth Faried could be back tonight, so there shouldn't be too much opportunity for Arthur. He can be left on the wire in most leagues.

Fri Dec 27 201319:10Darrell Arthur won't play vs. Pelicans
Darrell Arthur (quad) will not play against the Pelicans on Friday.
The Nuggets are razor thin up front with Kenneth Faried hurt. They'll be using Timofey Mozgov and J.J. Hickson as much as possible while Anthony Randolph could get more minutes. Arthur should be considered questionable for Saturday's game against his former team, the Grizzlies.

Sun Dec 1 201316:25Darrell Arthur hits all seven shots
Darrell Arthur made all seven attempts from the field for 14 points with three boards, two assists, three steals and one block in 23 minutes.
He had season highs in points, assists and steals. Arthur's minutes have increased over the last few games, but he's still only playing 21 per contest as a backup power forward. Unless J.J. Hickson, Kenneth Faried or Timofey Mozgov have to miss time, he's not going to be worth owning in almost any league.
