Fri Jan 27 201223:06Hansbrough bad despite second half start
Tyler Hansbrough started the second half of Friday's game when Roy Hibbert left with an ankle injury, but still managed just four points on 1-of-5 shooting with three rebounds in 24 minutes.
Hansbrough has fallen off the standard-league fantasy radar lately, but if the Pacers suffer an injury in the frontcourt he could be a capable fill-in. Hibbert returned to action in the second half.

Thu Jan 12 201203:16Hansbrough has zero rebounds in ugly loss
Tyler Hansbrough played through an eye injury on Wednesday and had eight points and zero rebounds in an easy win over the Hawks.
Hansbrough's season low in boards was three coming into this one and we're still not sure how he went 22 minutes without grabbing one, although maybe we can blame it on the goggles he was wearing. He's a borderline fantasy player to own right now, averaging 12 points, six boards and a steal. If he blocked shots (one for the season), he'd be much more attractive.

Tue Jan 10 201213:44Tyler Hansbrough will be ready Wednesday
Tyler Hansbrough (eye) will be fine for Wednesday's game against the Hawks.
Hansbrough got scratched in the eye by teammate Jeff Foster during Monday's loss in Philadelphia. There was no serious damage. Hansbrough is locked in for 25-29 minutes per game off the bench as the primary scorer on the Pacers' second unit.

Mon Jan 9 201223:33Hansbrough scores 10 points vs. Sixers
Tyler Hansbrough scored 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting with five rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 19 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Hansbrough entered the game averaging 12.9 points with 7.1 boards, 1.1 steals, 0.1 blocks, and a 39.1 percent shooting mark, and owners in 12-team, 8/9 cat formats can do better. Psycho T's two assists tonight were his first helpers on the season.

Mon Jan 9 201200:28Hansbrough a member of zero-assist club
Through eight games, Tyler Hansbrough has 87 field goals and 57 rebounds but not a single assist to his credit.
None at all. He's the only Pacers player without an assist and is one of just three NBA players averaging more than 20 minutes who are assist-less, the others being Derrick Favors and Joel Anthony. We're guessing Hansbrough drops the first dime.

Wed Jan 4 201211:23Tyler Hansbrough (hand) to play on Wednesday
Tyler Hansbrough (hand) will play on Wednesday against Miami.
Hansbrough had his hand checked out by team doctors who gave him clearance to play. He'll assume his usual role in the rotation and does enough to be owned in most leagues, though his lack of peripherals severely limits his upside.

Mon Dec 26 201122:13Tyler Hansbrough double-doubles for Indy
Tyler Hansbrough came off the bench Monday and had 15 points, 13 rebounds and a steal in 32 minutes.
It's too bad he doesn't block shots, but he had a fantastic preseason and looked great tonight. Despite splitting and sharing minutes with David West, Hansbrough has earned the trust of the coaching staff and seems guaranteed for at least 30 minutes per game. He should now be owned in most leagues.

Wed Dec 21 201101:18Hansbrough blows up for Pacers
Tyler Hansbrough had 24 points, 13 rebounds and two steals on 9-of-11 shooting Tuesday.
He was the best Pacer in the preseason and played alongside David West tonight, while C Roy Hibbert was resting. If nothing else, Hansbrough has earned a role on the team and now looks like he's worth a last-round flier in 12-team leagues.

Fri Dec 16 201106:44Tyler Hansbrough not worried about bench role
Tyler Hansbrough is not worried about coming off the bench behind David West.
"I'm not going to look at it as a self-centered guy, to say this guy could take a lot of my minutes," Hansbrough said. Psycho T is saying all the right things, but West's presence significantly limits his fantasy upside. He will become very relevant for owner if West is ever forced to miss some time.

Wed Sep 21 201100:29Hansbrough working back from ankle injury
Tyler Hansbrough is working back from an ankle injury he suffered earlier in the summer, but appeared to be fine in the Pacers' unofficial workout on Tuesday.
He reportedly played with a "high motor" and we're not worried about it too much, if at all, but it'll be something to refer back to if he tweaks it later down the road. His fantasy upside will be determined by Indiana's willingness to re-sign Josh McRoberts, and to a lesser degree Jeff Foster and Solomon Jones.

Fri May 13 201111:00Hansbrough positioned for big role next year
Tyler Hansbrough is positioned for a big role in the Pacers' frontcourt next season, as Jeff Foster, Josh McRoberts and Solomon Jones are all free agents this summer.
Hansbrough had an up-and-down season and needs to improve his defense and rebounding, and refine his post game. He showed flashes of excellence, though, including a 10-game stretch in March when he averaged 21.0 points, and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 58% from the field.

Wed Apr 27 201101:36Hansbrough double-doubles in loss to Bulls
Tyler Hansbrough double-doubled in the Pacers' Game 5 loss on Tuesday, scoring 14 points on 3-of-9 shooting with 11 rebounds, a steal, and four turnovers.
Left for dead by many draft analysts, Hansbrough has shown that a tireless work ethic combined with some crafty inside play can overcome a lack of apparent playmaking ability. He will be a bit of a question mark with Josh McRoberts around, but could end up being a nice value pick next season.

Tue Apr 19 201100:45Hansbrough struggles in Game 2 loss
Tyler Hansbrough followed up his 22-point Game 1 performance by hitting just 2-of-12 shots for six points, six boards and two steals in Monday's loss to fall into a 0-2 hole against the Bulls.
Hansbrough, along with Luol Deng and Joakim Noah for the Bulls, struggled tonight and the Pacers would have had a chance to win the game had he played better.

Sat Apr 16 201116:34Psycho T scores 22 points, leaves briefly
Tyler Hansbrough was a big factor in the Pacers' close loss to the Bulls on Saturday, as he scored 22 points on 10-of-19 shooting with four rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 35 minutes.
His 16-18 foot shot was silky as he finally paid real dividends to Larry Bird, who has been criticized for his selection of the North Carolina product. Hansbrough left briefly after taking a shot to the head, and with his history with vertigo it's a situation to monitor, though it's not expected to keep him out at this time.

Thu Apr 7 201110:34Opponents are on toTyler Hansbrough
Coach Frank Vogel said that "the league is on to" Tyler Hansbrough's mid-range game.
In early March, Hansbrough went on a tear during which he averaged 19.0 points a night over 14 games. But now teams are crowding him and he is a mess when he puts the ball on the floor. Hansbrough's off-dribble game will improve, but not quickly enough for him to play 35 minutes a night anytime soon.

Sun Apr 3 201123:14Hansbrough's struggles continue
Tyler Hansbrough had just nine points and five rebounds in Sunday's loss to the Hornets.
Hansbrough is showing no signs of shaking out of this funk. Now that he's sharing time evenly with Josh McRoberts, he likely won't even have a chance to get back to those 20-point nights. Owners should have moved on a week ago.

Thu Mar 31 201118:05Hansbrough struggling badly
Tyler Hansbrough is averaging just 9.0 points on 36.8 percent shooting over his last four games.
Hansbrough appears to have hit a wall after a torrid start to the month. He's in a full-fledged battle for minutes with Josh McRoberts, and coach Frank Vogel is simply going with who is playing better. Right now, that man is McRoberts. At this point in the season, we'd move on from Hansbrough until he gets hot again.

Mon Mar 28 201123:35Hansbrough quiet against the Celtics
Tyler Hansbrough saw a lot of Kevin Garnett in Monday's win over the Celtics, and finished with just five points on 2-of-7 shooting with four rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes.
Backup Josh McRoberts wasn't much better with six points, four boards, and three assists in 28 minutes, but it's possible that Garnett's curious affection for laying into Psycho T was at the root of it. After a raucous tear a few weeks back, Hansbrough has reverted to his inconsistent ways.

Sat Mar 26 201123:01Hansbrough plays well as Pacers lose again
Tyler Hansbrough had 16 points and eight rebounds on 7-of-12 shooting in Saturday's loss.
Hansbrough is sharing time with Josh McRoberts again, but is still worth using in fantasy.
