Tue Jul 9 201320:49Reports: Raptors, Hansbrough agree to deal
The Raptors and Tyler Hansbrough agreed to terms, according to multiple media reports.
The two sides were reportedly in serious talks about a multiyear deal earlier today. Beat writer Doug Smith reports the deal is for two years, which is a solid haul for Hansbrough. Psycho T will give the Raptors the exact opposite of what they got from Andre Bargnani over the past several seasons, but he's unlikely to affect many fantasy formats.

Tue Jul 9 201319:27Report: Hansbrough close to deal with Raps
Tyler Hansbrough is in serious talks with the Raptors and the two sides are closing on a deal, ESPN.com's Marc Stein reports.
The Pacers rescinded their qualifying offer to Hansbrough last week but gave no real explanation for the move. Regardless, it didn't take Psycho T long to find work. Assuming there's no complications with the deal, Hansbrough should be a solid depth piece for Toronto, which traded away a lot of its frontcourt pieces in the Rudy Gay deal.

Tue Jul 2 201315:21Pacers rescind Hansbrough's qualifying offer
The Pacers have rescinded their $4.2 million qualifying offer to restricted free agent Tyler Hansbrough, making him an unrestricted free agent.
There's no word yet on exactly why the Pacers rescinded the offer, but we suspect it has something to do with the salary cap ramifications of David West's new three-year, $36 million deal. Regardless, Hansbrough can now sign with any team and the Pacers won't have a chance to match. At the very least, he's an intense hustler than can knock down a mid-range jump shot. Psycho T will draw interest.

Tue Jul 2 201310:53Tyler Hansbrough unhappy w/ backup role?
Restricted FA Tyler Hansbrough wants to be a starter, according to Pacers writer Conrad Brunner, and "it doesn't appear his future is in Indiana."
It's important to note that the Pacers can match any offer for Hansbrough. He may not be satisfied coming off the bench behind David West, assuming West re-signs, but he also wouldn't be the first NBA player asked to swallow his ambition for the sake of his team (and millions of dollars).

Mon Jul 1 201311:34Tyler Hansbrough gets qualifying offer
Tyler Hansbrough receieved a qualifying offer from the Pacers, making him a restricted free agent.
He was a useful backup behind David West for the Pacers. In eight starts last season, Psycho T averaged 14.8 points and 10.1 boards. The Pacers are likely to match any offer that isn't out of the ordinary.

Sat Jun 1 201323:27Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) solid in Game 6 win
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) came off the bench for three points and four rebounds in 12 minutes on Saturday, as the Pacers won Game 6 by a final score of 91-77.
Hansbrough rolled his ankle late in Game 5, which caused some concern, but he played the most minutes of any reserve and should be ready for Monday's decisive game. Sam Young made a rare 3-pointer in his seven minutes of action, Ian Mahimni played just six minutes as Roy Hibbert avoided foul trouble, and D.J. Augustin, whom the Heat look to exploit at both ends, had just two points in 10 minutes.

Fri May 31 201314:13Tyler Hansbrough optimisitc for Game 6
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) is optimistic that he'll be able to play in Game 6 against the Heat.
Hansbrough rolled the ankle in the second half of Thursday's loss in Miami and did not return. It had the look of a Grade 1 sprain, but his status for Saturday will depend on swelling. Hansbrough is averaging just 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in the series, but has gotten under Miami's skin on numerous occasions.

Thu May 30 201322:46Tyler Hansbrough sprains his right ankle
Tyler Hansbrough suffered a sprained right ankle in the second half of Thursday's game and is questionable to return.
He didn't appear to roll his ankle too badly, but he did have a hitch in his giddy-up. David West has been busy for most of the series and will continue to be a horse at power forward.

Fri Apr 19 201315:11Tyler Hansbrough rolls an ankle at practice
Tyler Hansbrough sustained a mild ankle sprain during Friday's practice.
Hansbrough has until Sunday to get ready for Game 1 against the Hawks, so we suspect he'll be fine. The volume-shooting backup power forward wrapped the regular season with averages of 7.0 points and 4.6 rebounds and 16.9 minutes a night.

Thu Mar 28 201323:21Tyler Hansbrough scores 13 vs. Dallas
Tyler Hansbrough scored 13 points with nine boards, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes against the Mavericks on Thursday.
David West returned to the lineup, but Psycho T was able to turn in an efficient line. West didn't get his full workload, so Hansbrough owners that are on the fence with grabbing a hot free agent can probably make the switch.

Mon Mar 25 201323:17Hansbrough goes for 12 and 11 vs. Hawks
Tyler Hansbrough scored 12 points on 6-of-11 shooting with 11 rebounds in another start for David West (back) on Monday.
In typical fashion Hansbrough did not have a steal or block, but he did get his scoring and rebounding numbers to where they need to be. It's been a while since we've gotten an update on West, but his status is a very iffy day-to-day right now.

Sat Mar 23 201322:47Tyler Hansbrough cools off in loss to Bulls
Tyler Hansbrough finished Saturday's loss to the Bulls with seven points, six rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.
David West (back) is not expected to play on Monday, which keeps Hansbrough's short-term window propped open. He was coming off three consecutive double-doubles, but the streak ended with tonight's slugfest, which the Pacers nearly won after a late four-point play by George Hill (11 points, two assists).

Fri Mar 22 201322:10Tyler Hansbrough at it again with 22 and 12
Tyler Hansbrough had 22 points and 12 rebounds on 8-of-14 shooting in Friday's win over the Bucks.
When Hansbrough starts, he excels in scoring and boarding. And with David West (back) still having trouble even walking, this isn't just a flash in the pan. In four starts this year, Psycho-T is averaging 18.2 points and 11.7 rebounds on 49.0 percent shooting. On the down side, owners looking to make an add should realize that he has a total of one block and three steals during that four-game span.

Thu Mar 21 201311:24Tyler Hansbrough expected to play on Friday
Tyler Hansbrough (abdomen) is expected to play on Friday.
Hansbrough was available to return to Tuesday's game "if needed," so this simply confirms that his injury isn't serious and he's good to go for the next one. His health is especially important with David West (back) still having trouble walking and his status for Friday's game up in the air.

Tue Mar 19 201321:13Tyler Hansbrough suffers abdominal cramp
Tyler Hansbrough suffered an abdominal cramp during Tuesday's cakewalk over the Magic and was available to return "if needed."
Given that the Pacers were up 86-63 with five minutes left in the game, it's safe to say Hansbrough's night is over. He made another start for David West and will finish with 14 points, 14 rebounds, a steal and a block, but hit just 4-of-14 shots. Any time West will be sitting, Hansbrough will be worth a spot start in many leagues, and West was having trouble walking on Tuesday due to his back injury, so Hansbrough might not be done just yet. Unless you hear differently, assume that Hansbrough will be ready to go on Friday against the Bucks.

Mon Mar 18 201323:11Tyler Hansbrough puts up 18 points on Monday
Tyler Hansbrough started for the injured David West (back) and had 18 points, 11 boards and no turnovers in 23 minutes against the Cavs.
He did some damage and he was the obvious beneficiary of West not playing. West shouldn't miss too much time, so Hansbrough doesn't have too much value as a pickup.

Fri Mar 8 201322:09Tyler Hansbrough produces in garbage time
Tyler Hansbrough scored 18 points in Friday's easy 115-86 win over the Magic, adding six boards, two assists and one block on 7-of-10 shooting.
He only played 20 minutes and eight of his points came in garbage time. There's no reason to pick him up while David West is healthy. D.J. Augustin also benefited from garbage time with 14 points and four 3-pointers.

Wed Feb 13 201322:49Tyler Hansbrough double-doubles in start
Tyler Hansbrough had 19 points and 10 rebounds on 8-of-13 shooting in a start for David West on Wednesday, as West sat out with an eye injury.
Hansbrough could start for many NBA teams and showed his stuff tonight, but doesn't have fantasy value as long as West is starting for the Pacers. Jeff Pendergraph added 10 points and eight boards off the bench, while Ian Mahinmi got into the act with 10 points, five boards, three steals and two blocks. West should be back after the break, which is bad news for all three players.

Wed Jan 30 201323:06Tyler Hansbrough double-doubles in win
Tyler Hansbrough played just 17 minutes on Wednesday but managed to double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
We'd like to think Hansbrough went nuts in garbage time, but he played just 17 minutes. Continue to ignore him unless this becomes a trend and his minutes increase dramatically.

Sat Jan 5 201304:01Hansbrough scores 19 points vs. Celtics
Tyler Hansbrough scored 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting with four rebounds and one steal in 23 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Hansbrough took a shot to the head by KG in a physical game that had Psycho T's name written all over it. He's not getting enough minutes nor is he producing enough for fantasy leagues, but we'll let you know if he gets on a roll.
