Wed Feb 22 201200:50Elliot Williams has career-high 17 in blowout
Elliot Williams came off the bench to score a career-high 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting Tuesday.
The Spurs didn't even try to compete in the laughable 137-97 loss, so Williams got hot in the proverbial garbage time. Continue to ignore him in fantasy leagues.

Tue Dec 6 201117:29Elliot Williams recovered from knee surgery
Blazers guard Elliot Williams is fully recovered from knee surgery and ready to start the season.
He'll come off the bench and doesn't have much fantasy value as of now, but has impressed teammate LaMarcus Aldridge early this year. He's got (or had) a 48" vertical and "swag," according to Aldridge. Just keep an eye on him as the season progresses, as the knee injury has prevented him from playing in his first NBA game so far.

Blazers guard Elliot Williams (knee) looked fully healthy during a tournament in Tennessee this week.
Williams through down a few impressive dunks, and according to one observer he "showed off a beefed up upper body." It's doubtful that he'll have a significant role in Portland's backcourt rotation next season, whenever that might be, but at least he's healthy.

Wed Jun 29 201120:51Blazers exercise 3rd-year option on Williams
The Blazers exercised a third-year option on guard Eliot Williams.
He is coming off knee surgery but with a lockout looming, could have plenty of time to recover. The Memphis guard has some skills, but the Blazers have a deep backcourt, which will make it tough for him to attain fantasy value.

Sat Jan 8 201111:53Elliot Williams has surgery on left knee
Trail Blazers rookie Elliot Williams underwent successful surgery Friday to repair "left patella instability".
Williams had a very similar procedure on his right patella in November -- he was already done for the season, so it makes sense that Portland cleaned up whatever issues may have been lurking.

Thu Nov 4 201017:25Elliot Williams' season over w/ knee surgery
Trail Blazers rookie Elliot Williams will undergo surgery to repair a dislocated right patella. He is expected to miss the rest of the 2010-11 season.
This is a disappointment for the Blazers, who were looking forward to developing Williams throughout the year. He wasn't part of the rotation, however, so his absence shouldn't cause any repercussions.
