Mon Mar 31 201400:27Ryan Kelly scores 17 pts, fills up boxscore
Ryan Kelly was everywhere in Sunday's easy win vs. the Suns, piling up 17 points, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in just 30 minutes off the bench.
He made some nice defensive plays and hit a variety of tough shots, and the No. 48 pick in this year's draft already looks like a steal for L.A. With Xavier Henry (knee) once again on the sidelines, Kelly should produce understated, across-the-board production in L.A.'s four-game week.

The Lakers are expected to start Kendall Marshall, Jodie Meeks, Wes Johnson, Ryan Kelly and Jordan Hill against the Bucks on Thursday.
Kelly has been in and out of the starting lineup and he's played much more when coach Mike D'Antoni puts him with the first unit. He'll be worth a look and would have even better values should Chris Kaman (personal) not play.

Sat Mar 22 201403:41Ryan Kelly moves to the bench, scores seven
Ryan Kelly moved back to the bench against the Wizards on Friday, finishing with seven points, three boards, one assist and no turnovers in 19 minutes.
He played just 18.6 minutes per game in his six games on the bench earlier this month before coach Mike D'Antoni moved him into a more prominent role, and now that seems like it's where he's going to stay. Jordan Hill's return tonight was the biggest factor for the drop-off in production and Kelly is probably a guy to cut in standard fantasy leagues even though Hill won't be quite as busy as he was tonight.

Fri Mar 21 201414:18Ryan Kelly moving back to the bench
Ryan Kelly will move back to the bench against the Wizards on Friday.
He started the last four games and has also seen his minutes increase to 33.2 per game over his last five. In that span, Kelly averaged 13.6 points, 6.4 boards, 3.6 dimes, 1.4 blocks, 1.0 steals and 1.8 triples. There is really no positive way to spin this because Kelly's minutes are significantly less off the bench, playing just 18.6 minutes per game in his six games prior to the aforementioned five-game stretch. He's not an automatic cut because he was so great, but his owners might want to prepare for a dip in production tonight.

Thu Mar 20 201401:58Ryan Kelly scores 14 in loss to Spurs
Ryan Kelly hit 3-of-9 shots for 14 points, six rebounds, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.
Kelly scored just six points with six rebounds on 2-of-8 shooting on Friday, but is still averaging 13.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.4 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers over his last five games. As long as he's starting for the Lakers, he's worth owning in all fantasy leagues.

Fri Mar 14 201400:23Ryan Kelly scores 12 points with six dimes
Ryan Kelly handed out six assists against the Thunder on Thursday with 12 points, four boards, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
The Lakers counted on him big time in his previous two in up-tempo, high-scoring games. Kelly was doing more than just catch and shoot lately, which makes sense since the Lakers have nothing to play for and might as well develop a player who won't cost much in the future. As always, nothing is certain, but he's worth owning as a decent upside guy.

Sun Mar 9 201418:31Ryan Kelly hands out eight dimes vs. OKC
Ryan Kelly was back in the starting lineup against the Thunder on Sunday with 12 points, five boards, eight assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
His previous career high in assists was just three and he had more assists to just Jodie Meeks alone with five. While the move of Kelly to the starting lineup may have been matchup based, he was coming off a 24-point game on Friday. There's nothing certain about Kelly keeping it up, but he's worth a look for now.

Sat Mar 8 201400:51Ryan Kelly goes nuts with 24 and 11 vs. DEN
Ryan Kelly went off in Friday's loss to the Nuggets, scoring 24 points on 7-of-14 shooting (4-of-8 from deep, 6-of-6 from the line) with 11 rebounds, one steal and one block in 33 minutes off the bench.
Kelly has done well with the minutes that he has gotten lately but this is the first real noise he has made in a while and it's big. We don't know what Mike D'Antoni will do and tonight the second unit brought the team back from a big deficit late, but given the fantasy friendly situation and player owners can consider a flier here.

Sun Feb 23 201414:26Ryan Kelly moves back to the bench on Sunday
Ryan Kelly will move back to the bench against the Nets on Sunday.
His playing time was pretty much doomed on Thursday with the Lakers keeping their power forwards and there was actual evidence on Friday with just 12 minutes of action. Kelly had a good run, but he's too much of a liability in other areas to be counted on in most leagues.

Sat Feb 22 201410:13Ryan Kelly puts up a goose egg
Ryan Kelly did not score against the Celtics on Friday in 12 minutes.
There are not many players who lost more value after the deadline than Ryan Kelly. The Lakers were expected to dump some big men in the trade market, but that wasn't the case. He's a big-time drop candidate due to some ugly play lately.

Thu Feb 20 201402:28Ryan Kelly gets 29 minutes, more time coming?
Ryan Kelly scored 13 points in 29 minutes against the Rockets during Wednesday's loss, adding three boards, three assists and one 3-pointer.
The Lakers' plan at the deadline appears to be trading away Jordan Hill and Chris Kaman to give them a chance to keep Pau Gasol and his Bird rights. That would mean Kelly would likely see the lion's share of the minutes next to Gasol and would be worthy of consideration in standard leagues.

Fri Feb 14 201401:33Ryan Kelly losing some of his minutes
Ryan Kelly played just 16 minutes against the Thunder on Thursday with seven points, two boards, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer.
That makes it three straight games in the teens for his minutes and he's finally fallen out of favor with coach Mike D'Antoni. Kelly's defense and lack of presence inside on offense proved costly, so his owners might want to start looking at other options.

Tue Feb 11 201414:15Ryan Kelly shifts to bench w/ Williams at PF
Ryan Kelly will shift to a bench role on Tuesday, as Shawne Williams takes over the PF position vs. the Jazz.
Kelly was averaging 11.5 points, 1.2 threes and 4.4 rebounds in 28 minutes per game as a starter. He should get solid playing time with the second unit, and the Lakers' bench scores 41.8 points per game (second only to the Spurs), but he was already losing minutes to Williams and a dip in his production should be anticipated.

Sun Feb 9 201418:21Ryan Kelly falls off on Sunday afternoon
Ryan Kelly played just 16 minutes against the Bulls on Sunday, failing to score on five attempts with two boards, one assist and one block.
He lost a lot of playing time to Shawne Williams and Jordan Hill today. The Lakers were trying to come back tonight, so not playing Kelly down the stretch speaks volumes. Although, this is not exactly the first time D'Antoni has sat a shooter for being cold during a game. Kelly owners shouldn't totally be jumping ship after two terrific games before this game.

Fri Feb 7 201422:47Kelly goes for 15 and eight against Sixers
Ryan Kelly scored 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting (including a three) with eight rebounds and two steals over 31 minutes in Friday's win against the Sixers.
Kelly has been a consistent top 80-100 play (9/8 cat) over the last month and a few rounds better over the last week. That makes him a must-own player in all formats, even if there is the tiniest chance that he somehow falls out of favor in L.A. Defense would be the problem but Mike D'Antoni likes what Kelly brings otherwise and there's really nobody else that could step in and provide credible minutes at PF other than (maybe) Shawne Williams.

Wed Feb 5 201422:24Ryan Kelly scores career-high 26 points
Ryan Kelly scored a career-high 26 points against the Cavs on Wednesday during a 119-108 win, adding six boards, one steal and three 3-pointers in 42 minutes.
The Lakers didn't have anyone to play behind Kelly to allow him to play his highest minutes total ever, as well. Kelly's productivity was of note before this game, averaging 12.4 points, 4.2 boards, 0.7 steals and 1.3 triples over his last nine games, so he's worth a look if a 3-point shooting power forward would fit your team.

Tue Feb 4 201423:04Ryan Kelly hits 2-of-11 shots in start
Ryan Kelly started at power forward again on Tuesday, but hit just 2-of-11 shots (both 3-pointers) for six points, two rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Kelly's shooting has been a bit of a mess, as he hit just 41 percent of his shots in January, and couldn't buy a bucket tonight. With Jordan Hill's cervical and head injuries tonight, Kelly should continue to start, but he'd be a lot more fun to take a flier on if he could get hot from the field. If you picked him up and plugged him into your lineup this week, he's got three more games to make it up to you.

Sat Feb 1 201402:03Kelly scores 13 points with six boards
Ryan Kelly started at power forward once again in the Lakers' 110-100 home loss to the Bobcats, scoring 13 points on 4-of-10 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, three assists and a block in 33 minutes.
Kelly has been a mid-to-late round value over the past two weeks and with Pau Gasol potentially missing time his role could solidify a bit. Then again, he's getting worked over on the inside and nothing is really secure under Mike D'Antoni. With the Lakers playing just two games this week, he should be available in many leagues and given all of these metrics he should be owned in a lot more of them.

Wed Jan 29 201402:12Ryan Kelly starts and scores 10 in loss
Ryan Kelly started at power forward again and had 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks on 2-of-7 shooting in 19 minutes on Tuesday.
He came off the bench to start the second half behind Jordan Hill, but it may have just been a 'Mike D'Antoni matchup thing.' Kelly only has one more game this week, but will be worth a deep-league look if he's still starting at PF come Monday.

Sun Jan 26 201418:14Ryan Kelly scores five points in start
Ryan Kelly played just 21 minutes against the Knicks on Sunday, scoring five points with one board, two assists and one 3-pointer.
Coach Mike D'Antoni did his usual lineup shuffling today and it cost Kelly some minutes. The Lakers went with some smaller lineups to match the Knicks with Wesley Johnson seeing a lot of time at power forward, which the Lakers couldn't away with against most teams. Kelly owners shouldn't worry too much.
