Sun Mar 10 201323:47Samuel Dalembert double-doubles in start at C
Samuel Dalembert started at center vs. the Kings and posted 10 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 26 minutes of action.
Jim Boylan already planned to start Dalembert tonight to combat DeMarcus Cousins, but fantasy owners can't trust Sammy unless we hear some pessimistic updates about Larry Sanders' hyper-extended knee. The Bucks' injury problems also led to appearances from John Henson (16 minutes) and Drew Gooden (nine minutes).

Sun Mar 3 201301:42Samuel Dalembert returns, plays eight mins
Samuel Dalembert returned to the Bucks' rotation vs. the Raptors, scoring two points in eight minutes.
Dalembert was suspended for one game, then picked up a DNP-CD on Wednesday, but he crept back into the picture in Saturday's victory. Despite some recent chatter, it doesn't seem as though the Bucks intend to buy him out.

Tue Feb 26 201318:36Report: Bucks won't give Sam Dalembert buyout
A source tells Yahoo Sports that the Bucks will not be giving Samuel Dalembert a buyout.
There were some whispers about a possible buyout after Dalembert was suspended for Tuesday's game. It's not happening. Dalembert is valuable insurance for the Bucks behind Larry Sanders, who has had back problems this season. He's just going to have to suck up his meager playing time, show up on time to shootarounds and wait to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Tue Feb 19 201323:46Samuel Dalembert plays 11 minutes Tuesday
Samuel Dalembert played just 11 minutes behind Larry Sanders on Tuesday, finishing with three points, three rebounds and a block on 1-of-4 shooting.
As long as Sanders is healthy Dalembert will be a tough fantasy play, as the minutes just aren't going to be there on most nights. Sanders' back could still act up from time to time, so it makes sense to hold Dalembert through the trade deadline (and as an insurance policy). If Dalembert were dealt to a team like the Hawks, he would be worth owning.

Mon Feb 18 201316:59Bucks coach pleased w/ Sammy's conditioning
Bucks coach Jim Boylan is pleased with Samuel Dalembert's improved conditioning, which allows him to be "more productive for longer stretches."
Sammy will head back to the bench with Larry Sanders (back) sounding likely to play on Tuesday, but owners should hang onto him a while longer. He could carve out a productive shot-blocking niche off the bench, and there's always a chance he'll be traded to a favorable situation by Thursday's deadline.

Sat Feb 16 201314:50Dalembert and Ellis most likely to traded
Samuel Dalembert and Monta Ellis are the two players that are most likely to be traded from the Bucks.
Dalembert has an expiring contract and with the Bucks likely wanting to let Larry Sanders loose, Sammy is the most likely candidate to be sporting a new uniform next weekend. As for Ellis, he has an opt-out clause and he'll likely come at a much higher price. While there are no reports with teeth, Ellis owners shouldn't be too worried. On the other hand, there is some sell-high appeal to Sammy

Thu Feb 14 201300:48Sam Dalembert double-doubles again vs. Philly
Samuel Dalembert double-doubled against his former team with 17 points and 14 boards with three blocks on 8-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Sixers.
It was his sixth double-double in his last nine games and he's been terrific with Larry Sanders out of the lineup. Since the Larry Sanders Show has been on hiatus, Dalembert averaged 16.4 points, 11.2 boards and 2.6 blocks in 27.0 minutes. His value is nearing its apex and chances are if he's somehow floating around on your wire, it's because your league is shallow.

Wed Feb 13 201309:23Dalembert projected to start on Wednesday
Samuel Dalembert, and not Larry Sanders, is listed as the probable starter for the Bucks on Wednesday.
We don't expect to see Sanders until after the All-Star break and all signs point to Dalembert drawing one more start while Sanders is hurt. Sammy D is averaging 7.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over 18 starts at center this season.

Tue Feb 12 201301:17Dalembert comes back to earth on Monday
Samuel Dalembert came back to earth in Monday's loss to the Wizards, scoring six points on 3-of-5 shooting with seven rebounds and one steal in 17 minutes before fouling out.
If there is any consolation it's that he was on his way to another big night if he could stay on the floor, but there's often a catch with Dalembert and tonight it was this. Owners will want to try to hang on until Larry Sanders' back injury is fully explained, but if you're staring at a hot free agent then we wouldn't blame you for making the move.

Sun Feb 10 201300:46Dalembert fills up boxscore again vs. DET
The Bucks dropped their third consecutive game on Saturday despite Samuel Dalembert's 14 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and five blocks in 33 minutes.
This was Sammy's third straight double-double, something he hasn't done since the 2010-11 season. While he's clearly benefitting from Larry Sanders' absence with a bruised back, it's hard to imagine him falling out of the rotation or even falling behind guys like John Henson (six minutes) and Ekpe Udoh (15 minutes). Sanders is uncertain to play in the Bucks' two games this week, giving Dalembert a chance to keep his streak alive.

Thu Feb 7 201306:16Sammy D posts solid line in follow up to Tue
Samuel Dalembert fol 10 points, 11 boards, four steals, and four blocks over 26 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Jazz.
Dally hit 4-of-8 shots instead of the gaudy 17-of-21 he hit on Tuesday, but the four steals and four blocks are what catches the eye here. Larry Sanders' injury isn't believed to be serious and it's highly unlikely he will see a reduced workload when healthy, so Dalembert's minutes will have to come at somebody else's expense. He's certainly doing his part to make an impression, and his long-term value is stronger tonight than it was yesterday, but we're still not convinced he can shake his old ways and stay in the mix like this.

Wed Feb 6 201315:02Report: Bucks shopping Samuel Dalembert
ESPN's Marc Stein reports the Bucks are shopping Samuel Dalembert around the league.
The emergence of Larry Sanders, who sustained a hip injury in Tuesday's game, has made Dalembert fairly inconsequential for the most part this season. Dalembert is coming off a career-high 35 points Tuesday, showing the big man can still play and possibly intriguing some league executives. If he were to land a consistent role via trade or serious injury to Sanders, Dalembert would probably be worth a flier if you have someone to cut.

Sun Feb 3 201301:37Dalembert drops down in Bucks' rotation
Samuel Dalembert nearly dropped out of the rotation on Saturday, going scoreless with one rebound in six minutes.
Sammy notched two straight double-doubles last week while filling in for Larry Sanders (flu), but Jim Boylan has criticized his conditioning and doesn't seem disposed to use him heavily.

Thu Jan 31 201309:13Samuel Dalembert not in playing shape yet
Samuel Dalembert is not in playing shape yet, according to coach Jim Boylan.
"Sam is trying to work his way back into playing shape," Boylan said. "It's pretty evident when you watch him the first six or seven minutes, he's playing very well." Dalembert went off for a double-double with four blocks in a spot start on Wednesday and could get some new life under Boylan.

Thu Jan 31 201301:03Sammy Dalembert double-doubles again
Samuel Dalembert started in place of Larry Sanders, who was out with an illness, and went off for 14 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks on 6-of-9 shooting Wednesday.
It's nice to know he can still play. He's been pretty quiet this season, but also had 12 points, 10 boards and three blocks on Tuesday, when Larry was sitting due to foul trouble. Sanders is still the man to own here, but you have to think Jim Boylan has noticed what Sammy's done in his last two games. Owners of Sanders have to hope the two don't start sharing time, while Dalembert should be watched closely once Sanders is back in action.

Tue Jan 29 201322:18Sammy Dalembert w/ first double-double
Samuel Dalembert had 12 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in 21 minutes on Tuesday.
Say hello to Sammy's first double-double of the season. It came on a night that saw the Bucks destroy the Pistons, while starting center Larry Sanders was in foul trouble early and often in this one. This is a sign that we should start keeping an eye on Dalembert going forward, but that's it. He's still not worth owning as of now.

Thu Jan 10 201309:27Dalembert hoping for increased role now
Samuel Dalembert, who played two minutes on Wednesday, is hoping for an increased role under new coach Jim Boylan.
Dalembert hadn't played since December 12 before Wednesday. "Everybody in the league knows what I'm capable of doing and I've been around," he said. On a one-year contract, Dalembert is someone who could surface in trade rumors as he's buried on Milwaukee's bench, saying "if it's not working for either one of us, we'll communicate about it and find a solution."

Thu Dec 13 201201:37Dalembert starts with Sanders sidelined
Samuel Dalembert started with Larry Sanders out with the flu on Wednesday, finishing with five points, nine rebounds and two blocks in a win over the Kings.
As long as Sanders is healthy, it looks like Dalembert will be buried on the bench, so just leave him on waivers for now.

Sat Dec 8 201209:31Samuel Dalembert frustrated by role, minutes
Samuel Dalembert says he expected to have a larger role for the Bucks this season.
Dalembert told HoopsWorld regarding his playing time, "It's not working." The former Sixer is averaging 6.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in a shade under 17 minutes per game and has picked up two DNP-CDs in the past week. Coach Scott Skiles is apparently not that big of a fan and fantasy owners shouldn't be either. Leave him on the waiver wire.
