Sun Dec 2 201200:55Samuel Dalembert picks up another DNP-CD
Samuel Dalembert picked up another DNP-CD on Saturday.
This time there's no word of detrimental conduct, and it's quite possible Scott Skiles simply didn't see him as an effective option vs. Kevin Garnett and the Celtics. Ekpe Udoh was unremarkable in a start at center and it's possible Sammy could return to the starting five on Monday vs. New Orleans, but we wouldn't bet on it.

Mon Nov 26 201212:44Samuel Dalembert will start at center Monday
Samuel Dalembert will be the starting center on Monday against the Bulls.
Dalembert had been benched for being late to the Bradley Center on Saturday, but after a one-game showing for Joel Przybilla as the starting center, Dalembert will get his regular job back. Despite starting 10 games this year, Dalembert is averaging just under 17.5 minutes per game.

Mon Nov 26 201209:56Dalembert was late to team bus on Saturday
Updating a previous item, Samuel Dalembert did not start at center on Saturday because he "didn't arrive at the BMO Bradley Center at the proper time."
This would help to explain why Joel Przybilla got the nod, though it still doesn't explain why Scott Skiles is limiting Sammy D's minutes. Regardless, owners in most formats can find a more appealing option than Dalembert.

Mon Nov 26 201208:45Samuel Dalembert surprised by lack of minutes
Samuel Dalembert said "nobody told me nothing" when asked why he has lost his role as the starting center.
"I didn't know," he said. "How do you think the reaction would be? It was surprising. This is what it is." Sammy D does not sound happy, and we don't blame him considering he's losing time to an ineffective Joel Przybilla. Dalembert has played limited minutes all season (17 per game), averaging 7.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks on 66 percent shooting.

Sun Nov 25 201200:00Samuel Dalembert picks up surprise DNP-CD
Samuel Dalembert went from being the Bucks' starting center to racking up a DNP-CD on Saturday.
Dalembert wasn't sure why he was benched, and Scott Skiles wasn't about to explain himself, as usual. There may not be a more frustrating coach in the NBA, and all we can do is wait to see what happens in Monday's rematch vs. the Bulls.

Mon Nov 19 201222:17Dalembert back to quiet in fantasy leagues
Samuel Dalembert scored eight points on 4-of-7 shooting with four rebounds and a block in 19 minutes on Monday against the Bobcats.
Dalembert has been quiet since his 14-point, six-board, three-block outing on Wednesday. Owners can do better in most formats.

Thu Nov 15 201200:56Dalembert has a big night on Wednesday
Samuel Dalembert had his best night of the season with 14 points, six boards, one steal and three blocks in 18 minutes on Wednesday.
How's that for efficient? Dalembert had a bunch of easy buckets with six of his seven field goal attempts coming from point-blank range. Even with the nice line, he only saw 18 minutes and he's still going to be tough to own with that type of minutes allotment.

Fri Nov 9 201222:40Dalembert struggling with just 14 minutes
Samuel Dalembert played just 14 minutes on Friday, scoring two points on 1-of-3 shooting with six rebounds and one block.
Dalembert has looked a lot like this all year long and owners should drop him in most formats.

Sun Nov 4 201200:16Dalembert plays 10 minutes in win over Cavs
Samuel Dalembert started at center for the Bucks on Saturday but wound up going scoreless with two rebounds in 10 minutes.
This can partly be blamed on the excellent play of backup C Larry Sanders, but that's no relief for Sammy's owners. He also played 15 minutes in the Bucks' opener -- we expect his minutes to increase, especially against bigger teams, but owners should begin scouring the waiver wire for alternatives.

Sat Nov 3 201203:35Dalembert plays 15 minutes against Boston
Samuel Dalembert played just 15 minutes on Friday against the Celtics, scoring two points with three rebounds and one assist.
Dalembert might struggle for minutes against smaller teams, and the Celtics certainly qualify in that respect. Keep that in mind when setting your lineups, and also keep in mind that he'll be better on most nights.

Fri Nov 2 201211:51Samuel Dalembert to start at C for Bucks
Samuel Dalembert will start at center in the Bucks opener on Friday against the Celtics.
Dalembert isn't going to score a ton, but he should rebound and block shots, and those are two primary reasons why you drafted him on your team if you own him. He should also help owners in field goal percentage as well.

Sat Oct 27 201200:19Dalembert blocks three more shots Friday
Samuel Dalembert had zero points, three rebounds and three blocks in 18 minutes on Friday.
He's not going to be a big scorer, as usual, but should see solid minutes his season and rack up blocks and boards. Target him as a third center late once the big names are off the board.

Thu Oct 25 201214:36Sammy Dalembert blocks six shots in win
Samuel Dalembert started at center and had three points, seven rebounds and six blocks in 24 minutes on Thursday.
He hit just 1-of-4 shots, but it looks like he could see some rejuvenation playing for Scott Skiles and the Bucks. He should be available late in drafts and should be a solid option for blocks and rebounds.

Tue Oct 23 201202:13Dalembert starts and grabs 11 boards
Samuel Dalembert started at center for the Bucks on Monday night, scoring six points on 3-of-6 shooting with 11 boards and two blocks in 26 minutes.
This is a typical outing for Dalembert, and though Scott Skiles is reportedly undecided about who to start it seems logical that Sammy would get the nod over recently suspended Larry Sanders. Dalembert looks like a solid late round pick unless he falls out of favor somehow with the season right around the corner.

Mon Oct 22 201217:45Bucks center position isn't yet decided
Scott Skiles hasn't decided who will start at center for the Bucks on opening night.
Samuel Dalembert is the most logical choice, but Larry Sanders (currently suspended for a "team conduct issue") is still in play. Joel Przybilla isn't a threat -- he'll come off the bench and may not play every night. Ekpe Udoh, however, is another wildcard big man capable of joining a platoon in Milwaukee.

Sat Oct 20 201223:05Dalembert has four blocks in start for Bucks
Samuel Dalembert returned to Milwaukee's starting lineup on Saturday, posting two points, four rebounds and four blocks in 20 minutes.
Larry Sanders (nine points, six rebounds, four blocks) was given extra playing time as the starting center recently, but that was most likely a temporary experiment from Scott Skiles and the Bucks coaching staff -- Sanders is doing a better job playing to his strengths, but he's not as sound as Sammy. If his current ADP holds, Dalembert should be a nice undervalued pick late in fantasy drafts.

Tue Oct 16 201223:46Sammy D finally shows up with double-double
Samuel Dalembert had a big bench effort on Tuesday with 13 points, 10 boards and three blocks in 25 minutes against the Bulls.
Larry Sanders got another start and turned in a line of nine points, six boards and no blocks in 17 minutes. Sanders hasn't really seized the opportunity to be the guy even though he has been given the chance to succeed, so Dalembert looks like a nice flier that provides plenty of upside for his blocks.

Thu Jun 28 201206:59Samuel Dalembert excited about Bucks
Samuel Dalembert is "very excited" to join the Bucks, according to his agent Marc Cornstein.
"He's very familiar with the Bucks' roster and believes they are headed in the right direction," said Cornstein. Dalembert should step immediately into the starting center position and should be in a much more fantasy friendly situation than he was in last season with the Rockets.

The Rockets have traded Samuel Dalembert and the No. 14 pick to the Bucks in exchange for Jon Brockman, Jon Leuer and Shaun Livingston.

Thu Jun 21 201216:15Report: Rockets discuss Dalembert trade
The Rockets may have discussed a trade involving Samuel Dalembert and their No. 16 pick in the draft, but the deal is "not happening," according to beat writer Jonathan Feigen.
"[The Rockets] would like to move a pick," writes Feigen, "but they also like Sam's contract." Dalembert has a $6.7 million team option for 2012-13, after which he's an unrestricted FA. Houston will likely be active in the trade market over the next week, but for now it seems they'll hold out for sweeter offers.
