Mon Nov 15 201023:05Brown comes up threes in his debut
Kwame Brown (ankle) returned to action on Monday, playing 11 minutes off the bench on his way to three points, three rebounds, and three blocks.
He is miles away from having value in fantasy leagues, but with Nazr Mohammed and DeSagana Diop both being at an advanced age he may end up with some value down the road. It's just not that likely.
Mon Nov 15 201018:48Kwame Brown active for Charlotte
Kwame Brown is ready to make his season debut for the Bobcats on Monday.
He's been out with a sprained ankle and we're not expecting much from him. Hopefully he doesn't limit the minutes of Nazr Mohammed, who was just starting to heat up.

Mon Nov 8 201022:13Kwame (ankle) goes through intense workout
Kwame Brown (ankle) went through an intense workout during Monday's shootaround as he continues to try to get back on the court for the Bobcats.
"Cutting and pivoting still bother me a little," said Brown, who also added that he still feels pain and needs to get into game shape. He may provide depth for the Bobcats when he returns, but he should be nowhere near fantasy rosters.

Thu Nov 4 201014:33Kwame Brown cleared for contact drills
Kwame Brown has been cleared for contact drills and played a game of 4-on-4 during Thursday's practice.
Brown should eventually steal some minutes from Nazr Mohammed and DeSagana Diop, but the quality of the competition speaks volumes. None of the Bobcats' centers are viable fantasy options in average leagues.

Tue Nov 2 201010:01Kwame still not cleared to scrimmage
Kwame Brown (ankle) has been cleared to run plays but not to scrimmage.
Brown is not close to returning and should be left on waivers. He's a low-upside player even when 100 percent.

Sat Sep 25 201014:00Kwame Brown (ankle) will miss 4-6 weeks
Bobcats center Kwame Brown will miss a minimum of 4-6 weeks due to a third degree left ankle sprain.
Brown injured himself during workouts on Thursday -- he had surgery on the ankle in 2007 but an MRI showed no further damage. He will wear a protective boot for the next two weeks before beginning rehab, and his status for the start of the season seems in doubt.

Tue Aug 24 201009:15Bobcats sign Brown
Bobcats signed Kwame Brown to a one-year, $1.3 million contract.
The interesting thing here is that after Brown busted as the No. 1 overall pick, he became a symbol of Michael Jordan's incompetence as an executive. Now Brown and Jordan are reunited. If Erick Dampier gets waived as expected, Brown will get decent run as a reserve big man.

Mon Aug 23 201014:31Reunited? Kwame Brown to join Jordan's Cats
Kwame Brown is expected to be signed to a one-year deal by Michael Jordan's Charlotte Bobcats, after Jordan drafted Kwame with the No. 1 pick for the Wizards in 2001.
Brown has been a fantasy mess over his entire career and will have to compete with guys like Erick Dampier and Nazr Mohammed for minutes. However, just like every other year of his career, we can't imagine him being worth owning in fantasy leagues this season.

Sun Jul 11 201017:51Kwame unlikely to sign w/ Cs\
Kwame Brown isn't expected to sign with the Celtics, who can't offer him more than the veteran's minimum.
"Kwame has some very interesting options to weigh," said his agent, Mark Bartelstein. "I think we'll have something done within the next couple of days. You never say never ... but I just don't think it's going to work out with Boston." Boston gave its full mid-level to Jermaine O'Neal, so this is hardly a surprise.
Tue Jul 6 201015:00Celtics meeting with Kwame Brown
The Celtics are expected to meet with unrestricted FA big man Kwame Brown.
At this point talks are likely just preliminary, and regardless of where he lands, Brown is likely to end up in a backup role.

Tue Apr 6 201010:45Kwame facing summer of uncertainty as FA
Kwame Brown has six more regular season games before he becomes an unrestricted FA -- he isn't sure where he'll be next season.
"I love this team [the Pistons], but I have no idea if I'll be back," Brown said. "That's not my job -- that's my agent's. Mine is to finish out the year strongly." Ben Wallace is back, Jason Maxiell could soon return, and there's no reason to own Brown in fantasy leagues.
