Kwame Brown (back spasms) is expected to start Thursday's game at center.

Brown will play between 12-18 minutes, as the Sixers are slowly working him into the mix despite Andrew Bynum's continued absence with a sore knee. The rest of Philly's starting lineup will include Spencer Hawes, Jrue Holiday, Evan Turner and Jason Richardson.

"It is just a muscle spasm," Doug Collins said. "In training camp guys start to get beat up and tired." Brown was slated to start in place of injured Andrew Bynum (knee), but if he can't go, rookie Arnett Moultrie could get the nod tonight.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, as Andrew Bynum has been shut down for the next couple weeks, and Brown is an experienced NBA center. The Sixers just have to hope Bynum is fully ready to go by opening night.

Kwame Brown continues to rehab from pectoral surgery and could possibly be available for the Bucks in the playoffs, according to his agent, Mark Bartelstein.

Brown was recently traded to the Bucks, who are deep enough at center that Brown shouldn't make much difference if he's healthy enough to play in April or May.

Brown is likely out for the season and was clearly just a throw-in in the deal. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer, so will likely never play a game for the Bucks.

Brown's timetable is set at three months and for all intents and purposes he should be considered done for the year. The Warriors are platooning Andris Biedrins and Ekpe Udoh with Brown out, and their value is put into perspective by their combined totals from Wednesday of nine points, five rebounds, and one block in 40 minutes of action.

There isn't much to choose from, but the Warriors will look to add someone inside with just Andris Biedrins and Ekpe Udoh as options on the roster currently. It's possible that the team could look into the possibility of adding Kyrylo Fesenko once again after almost signing him earlier this season.

Brown was a better matchup for Andrew Bynum of the Lakers tonight, anyway, so it's possible Biedrins was given a night off based on that logic. Whatever the case may be, Brown is worth a look if you're desperate for a center but is likely still in at least a partial timeshare with Biedrins.

He is worth a close look if you're desperate for a center, as he's been outplaying Andris Biedrins lately. Just beware that he'll likely hurt your free throw percentage if you make a move for him.

The Warriors now have three centers and while Ekpe Udoh should be the most productive, Andris Biedrins and Kwame will help create a logjam in the middle for fantasy owners.
