Marcus Camby (foot) will get a cortisone shot on Tuesday and plans to play on Friday against the Bulls.
Camby hasn't played since November 26, and he hasn't been a part of the rotation at all this season. He's averaging just 7.5 minutes per game, and he's been a regular DNP-Coach's Decision even when healthy.

Mon Dec 17 201218:08Marcus Camby (feet) not yet practicing
Marcus Camby (plantar fasciitis) has not been cleared to practice.
Camby has been running lately, but he's missed eight games and counting and there is no timetable for his return. He hasn't been part of Mike Woodson's rotation this season anyway, so this shouldn't have a fantasy impact.

Marcus Camby (foot), who will not play on Tuesday, may need a cortisone shot.
Camby's struggle with plantar fasciitis is causing him to miss his sixth straight tonight, but he hasn't been a part of the Knicks rotation this season. Even if he misses additional time, it shouldn't have a fantasy impact and we get to see more of Rasheed Wallace

Sun Dec 9 201222:48Camby still out w/ plantar fasciitis
Marcus Camby (sore left foot) sat out on Sunday for the fifth straight game.
The Cambyman isn't in Mike Woodson's plans anyway, and he's battling the dreaded plantar fasciitis. Fantasy owners should consider him to be 'out indefinitely'.

Wed Dec 5 201211:14Marcus Camby diagnosed with plantar fasciitis
Marcus Camby (foot) has been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, and he will not play on Friday or Saturday.
Camby was seldom-used anyhow, and this gives the Knicksk and Mike Woodson a reason to rest him entirely until he's 100 percent. He won't play in either of the next two games and sounds like someone who could miss more time beyond that as well.

Wed Dec 5 201209:29Marcus Camby's status up in the air
It is uncertain when Marcus Camby (foot) will be able to play.
Camby didn't even dress on Sunday because of his foot, and Mike Woodson doesn't know if Camby be able to play on the road trip. Camby has apparently undergone tests on his foot and could be dealing with chronic plantar fasciitis, but Camby's absence isn't relevant in fantasy leagues, where he's been useless to owners.

Marcus Camby was a DNP-Coach's Decision against the Bucks, marking the eighth time this season he hasn't appeared in a game.
Mike Woodson said that he wouldn't play Camby against smaller lineups, and with the veteran getting squeezed out of the rotation, there is no reason to roster him outside of very, very deep leagues.

Sat Nov 24 201210:52Marcus Camby can't get off the Knicks' bench
Marcus Camby did not play Friday against the Rockets and has seen time in only four games this season.

Mon Nov 19 201208:48Woodson concerned with Camby's conditioning
Mike Woodson said that Marcus Camby's conditioning has been a factor in his lack of playing time.
Camby, who was inexplicably signed to a three-year deal by the Knicks, hasn't been anything close to a fantasy option. With Rasheed Wallace playing ahead of him in the rotation, Camby isn't close to sniffing relevance in fantasyland.

Wed Nov 7 201209:15Marcus Camby expected to play on Friday
Marcus Camby (calf) is expected to play on Friday against the Mavericks.
Camby hasn't played yet this season, and he could be looking at a very small role to begin the year. Although Camby's role is currently "unclear," he should be Tyson Chandler's primary backup and serve as a defensive specialist.

Mon Nov 5 201217:43Marcus Camby (calf) unlikely to play Monday
Marcus Camby (calf) is unlikely to play vs. the 76ers on Monday.
Camby's return date continues to get pushed back, highlighting the reason we avoided him on draft day. With Tyson Chandler battling the flu and Rasheed Wallace still working on his conditioning, the Knicks will once again be leaning toward small-ball.

Fri Nov 2 201218:44Marcus Camby not expected to play Friday
Marcus Camby, who is dealing with a calf injury, is not expected to play on Friday against the Heat.
Conditioning will be a concern for the big man, as will be future injuries. It sounds like Camby is getting closer, and although he hasn't been ruled out, it doesn't sound like he'll be on the court tonight. However, it does sound like we could see the debut of Rasheed Wallace tonight.
